Wicked Game: A Paranormal Romance (Feathers and Fate Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 618 ratings

I really thought we had it. We were so freaking close.

But you know what they say about counting your demonic portals before they’re closed.

Now we’ve got dozens of the stupid things to deal with, and my angelic superiors don’t seem all that concerned about the literal hell that’s about to be unleashed on Earth.

The things I’ve done with the sins, though? Uh, yeah, I have a feeling my superiors would be
very concerned about that.

There’s still time to fix this. I just need to keep my head on straight, focus on the job, and not let myself get any more attached to these men than I already am.

Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. Especially since I’m starting to think they might have feelings for me too.

Well, maybe not Pride.

I’m pretty sure he hates me.

Note: Wicked Game is the second book in the Feathers and Fate series, a reverse harem paranormal romance featuring a feisty fallen angel and seven delicious, devilish men.

    Book 2 of 3.
There are spoilers littered throughout this review.
This book picks up right where Book 1 left off. Our FMC is trying to close the portals/holes opened on earth, releasing demons, with the help of 4 of the 7 deadly sins. They realize that they are not enough and need to call in the help of the other 3 sins.
First they call Lust, then Envy, and then they end up having to go and get Pride. Pride is by far the hardest of the sins to deal with. He learns about the FMC's main reason for working with the sins (he guesses and she's honest with him) and then he keeps it to himself but agrees to help them in their mission to close the portals/holes.
This book raises the heat in the series a lot. As she starts to really get to know them and everyone starts to develop some sort of feelings for each other. There are several delicious scenes speckled throughout this book between her and the men. There is also lots of action. They join a competition that they join in the hopes of winning the crystal prize, which will help them close the portals.
They end up being disqualified in the competition because all of her men join in to save her life. However, the disqualification is really what pushes this group to explore more of how they truly feel with each other.
They do end up stealing the crystal later and closing all of the portals. But it's only to find out that the FMC (Trinity) now has a bounty placed on her head and every supernatural being is out to get her.
    For the added guys:
Lust (Sawyer): he's covered in scars but gorgeous anyway. Obviously he's a smooth talker and has a swagger to him. Despite being cocky he's not unlikeable. I enjoyed his character a lot.
Envy (Knight): mute and sweet. He uses a made up sign language that all of his brothers (the other sins) understand. He's smart, thoughtful, and extremely perceptive. He's also very good at hiding in shadows and going unseen.
Pride (Ryland): Stoic, prideful, stern, and a little bit of a jerk. He's not overly so, but enough to make him my least favorite of the group. He holds back with nearly everything but always wants to be in charge.
In this book, I have to say that I honestly fell in love with Envy (Knight).

I cant wait for the next installment! I love all of sins even Ryland although I find him a bit insufferable at times. Trinity is smart, empathetic, strong yet soft and I'm all for it. Her character isn't some hyped up overly aggressive depiction of a bad ass. She uses her emotional intelligence and that is refreshing for a black female lead. There are some grammatical errors here and there which is why I can't rate this book a five. However, the story is great and the depiction of the sins are unique and endearing.

As with my review on the first book, I find this a solid recommendation. It has some humor and some action and enough tension between characters that I can't wait to check the next part.

I find it funny that some ideas are thrown and then immediatly discarded because...well, they were inefficient according to Sloth haha. I definitely enjoyed this book. Easy to read and it leaves a interesting cliffhanger without being annoying.

I have never read a book that has everything I want in romance with 7 men. The story the adventure and the characters. OMG! I loved all of them. Each one of them made me feel like I was the character and their story was mine. I fell like this book really makes you feel each one of them and understand their lives. Really catches your interest and makes you want to know more and what happens next. I never been so enveloped in a book that I want to read it all over again. I read this one on the unlimited Kindle plan and I had to buy all 3 books. This story from start to finish was great and in happy from start to finish.

This book is worth reading, and it's a good story in many ways. What I dislike Is that the characters make some really stupid choices. So, to me, it's not as good as it could have been. It's like they missed the obvious, and for me that's annoying. For you it might be fine, and you might give it 5 stars. I can't, but it is definitely worth reading.

I finally got to meet the remaining Sins and I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of these book boyfriends. The author definitely manages to incorporate each of their sins in their respective personalities. This is a fast-paced read with a lot of action and humor woven through it. I really look forward to reading the conclusion to these character's story.

I absolutely love this series! I haven’t been able to put it down yet! I loved the relationship growth in this book finally. I’m hoping the rest will finally give in soon. Finally got an answer to why Trinity became a fallen angel and let me tell you it wasn’t fair. I’m hoping in the final book we will get the answer to the pain Wrath has, and why Lust won’t love again, and what the heck truly happened between pride and greed. And what the true connection between Trinity and the sins really is.

Okay, whew boy. I thought maybe I was going to pause reading this series, but then I decided what the hay & bought books 2 and 3 to binge. First off, I wasn’t in any way prepared for the full reality of all 7 guys. They. Are. Perfection. (Even when I wanted to smack them upside the head, lol). I loved the progression in book two in terms of character development, plot progression, and the added world building elements. I’m really glad I picked this series up and stuck with it!

Absolutely loved it, the second book in a series I find quite often gets abit boring or I just seem to loose interest, definitely not the case with this though it was as good as the first maybe even better. I love the whole 7 deadly sins and fallen angel storyline as its unique and it just gets more exciting. Can't wait to start reading the third book.

Sadie Moss killed it once again! I am loving this fun twist on fallen angels and the seven deadly sins. Trinity is strong and fierce but doesn’t let it get in the way when it comes to the sins. Very sexy sins. I cannot wait for the next book to see how they get out of this one. And of course from some Ry and Knight action... right?!
