The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as they have a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

    I love Nora's books because she is unafraid to explore traumatic experiences in her characters. She choses to write in a genre that is usually hallmarked by its intense intimate scenes ie sex. Nora writes sex scenes that are hot and emotional but in Healing Hand sex is off the table because of one of the characters traumatic experience as a child.
    I absolutely loved this book and it shows what an amazing writer Nora is.
    It is truly a story of healing and love. Of acceptance when it seems the injured character has lost all hope for acceptance. Its like Nora took part of 1 Corinthians 13 (the Love Chapter in the Bible) and personified it in this relationship.
    Gale is patient, kind and loving. He doesn't seek his own satisfaction or needs above those of Saxton. He waits patiently for Saxton to be ready for each step and is willing to answer Saxton's insecurities with reassurance at every turn.
    This isn't a hot read but it is one that is so emotionally fulfilling. It is a love story that is just beautiful in and of itself. It is the story of two people who don't fit the norms finding each other and happiness together despite their limitations and in some ways because of them.
    You keep on surprising me with your stories Nora. I look forward to many more!

    Is it possible to be speechless and have so many adjectives wanting to flow out of your mouth at the same time?? This is one of the best MM books I've read. Let's just say I read a lot! My heart is bursting and there are adorable tears in my eyes. The story of Gale and Saxton reached deep inside me. The two of them together is beautiful. Reading this and experiencing it along with them was magical. To be there during tragedy, building up trust, learning how to be respectful of the other's boundaries, and falling in love was magical. I'm sure there are better words that can be used but magical is what comes to mind. I loved reading about the other characters becoming a part of their life and helping Saxy come to terms with everything. I really hope it's not the end!!!

    I’ve read a ton from this author, including the rest of this series, this one is my least fav.

    First off, this is the second book from this author that has included umbilical cord accident stillbirths. In this book a medical professional states that in this day and age we have advanced technology that can detect and prevent them so now they’re rare. I know this is fiction, but that is just completely inaccurate and misinformation. I’ve experience 2 UCA stillbirths. Statically stillbirth rates have not decreased in over 30 years. There is no technology that can prevent this or detect them in early pregnancy. They are not rare. They happen everyday. I would expect better research into this topic for this author. And blaming his grieving mother for a ton of trauma really is offensive.

    As for this book, I love a medical play, I wish there was actually more with that since there wasn’t much else. The potential was there. I love doctor/patient hurt/comfort. But man, this one was slow. So slow. Not a slow burn, there’s no burn at all. With a demisexual and asexual characters, this was def not what I expected and got really boring and drawn out. I get they were trying to show intimacy doesn’t need sex, but it just felt so platonic.

    I love a lot of what this author does, this particular book just wasn’t for me.

    Wow!! This was an amazing story of a broken man and his demisexual Daddy and I absolutely LOVED it!! Saxton’s past prevents him from wanting anything sexual and thinking he is too broken for any Daddy to love. Gale’s sexuality helps put Saxton at ease and the two form a very unique relationship that is the sweetest thing EVER!! I loved how the two of them never engaged in penetrative sex. I’ve never loved a story so much and it not be all about the sex. This story was emotional and so very beautiful and I absolutely love how the No Shame boys played such a little but major part in helping Saxton. I have such love for Indy and Josh and it was so wonderful to see them here!!

    This series gets better and better. Every book I read I am sure that's my favourite but Saxton and Gale really made my heart melt. The slow build in this book really grips the reader and until the last page keeps you hooked.
    Saxton feels he is broken and there is no fixing him. He wants a daddy but with a few failed attempts he lays the blame at his own door. When he meets Gale it's hard to believe this is real and true and forever but all he needed was a daddy to show him and give him the time to believe.
    Gale falls quite quickly but they both have secrets. As these secrets are talked about they fall more in love and with time and Gale reassuring Saxton he can be who he wants.
    These two men are beautiful together and the way they navigate a relationship that is unique to them the reader is captivated.
    This book allows poeple to see that a relationship a forever involves only the people in it and it can be whatever those people want and need it to be. This is a fantastic series so I would strongly suggest you read the series but I definitely lost my heart to this book. Another emotional and fantastic read from this author.

    I am in awe with this series! I loved how the author managed every story with all the respect each one of her characters deserved and Gale and Saxton's story was managed with the same care. I loved how the author was so knowledgeable ensuring the book was so easy to read and sweet even when many of the difficult dialogues about characters' past arose. This kept the book low angst in spite the traumatic experiences so you'd still need to be careful in case of triggers but also helped a lot that it was soft enough to read it without stress. Brilliant!
