Publisher's summary

Can a broken boy and an unconventional daddy help each other heal?

Saxton has never been able to make a daddy stay. He wants one desperately, but they’ve all walked away. He knows exactly why: because, he’s damaged. Broken. Unable to give daddies what they want from him.

When he meets Daddy Gale, who offers to take care of him after an accident, Saxton expects the same thing to happen. But Gale is different in many ways, and he has his own wounds. He has endless patience with Saxton, and he respects Saxton's boundaries.

But when Saxton can’t open up about the trauma that forever changed him, will Gale decide Saxton isn’t worth the trouble, after all? Or, will Saxton finally have a daddy who accepts him the way he is?

Healing Hand is a low heat, sweet daddy care MM romance with loads of hurt/comfort, age play, tender moments, and emotions that will give you all the feels.

loved it

it was nice to see this book tie into not only the previous books but also into the no shame series with noah and Indy and josh etc....

this book was different. nothing very sexual went on and that's what people normally look forward to, I know. but there was intimacy between the characters, it was definitely a romance story, it touched on important issues and aspects of different lives and it still made sense.
This wasn't a kid writing a story where the character is orphaned with a bad life and becomes a cliche badboy. this was someone actively dealing with long lasting effects of trauma and it was handled very well.
As someone who has unfortunately had to deal with some of these issues it did bring me a sense of piece in a way and I really do appreciate this book.

Normal Is What You Decide

I love how bot Gale and Saxon are able to explore their relationship and decide what their normal is outside of what people expect it to be. They are just such a perfect fit for each other and I love the happy things that happen to them. I love to see the healing and the building of relationships. Very beautiful and tender story.

I want to stay in their life.

Again I am amazed by Nora Phoenix ability to make a story feel truthful and genuine. She knows what she writes about.
This one is a little bit different than her other normally steamingly hot and sexy books. This is about love with tenderness and patience.

Kenneth Obi brings not only the main character to life. He also portrays some old friends that Nora invited. He makes them all unique.

Good read

This whole series has been really fascinating. It teaches you a lot about different lifestyles and the romance parts are good too. This particular book is about a couple that doesn't and won't have sex, which is definitely not expected in the gay romance genre. I really enjoyed it and all the non-vanilla side characters, so I hope the author keeps up with the series.

Hauntingly beautiful

This story is full of hard emotions. It is so beautiful and loving. The strength of the characters to endure is a testimony to their own inner souls. I live that characters from the other books in the series and from the No Shame series all had a place in their story.

Read the story description

Very different from other stories in the series. The story focuses on the Daddy/Little relationship and there is almost zero sexual content. While it’s great to explore other sexual identities, be prepared for a non sexual story. While I usually enjoy Kenneth Obi’s narration, I didn’t love his voice for Gale in this one.
