Kitchen Gods: the Complete Series Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 206 ratings

It’s heating up in the kitchen . . .these four best friends and chefs might know how to cook, but romance is a much tougher recipe.

Featuring all four books in the Kitchen Gods series.

Bite Me Pastry Chef Miles can’t wait to turn his dessert videos into something special, except that his producer Evan annoyingly insists they do everything his way. With every confrontation, the intensity between flares even hotter until they’re not sure if it’s hatred they feel or something much hotter.

Catch Me– When Wyatt becomes a private chef for Ryan Flores, the first “out” professional baseball player, he thinks it’ll be the easiest job ever. Except that Ryan has more than just cooking in mind—he needs a fake boyfriend, and Wyatt is the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

Savor Me– Damon Hess doesn’t just want more out of his life, he demands it. He’s hellbent on starting his new restaurant, and Xander, elusive man who saved him a year ago is not only the chef he wants to head his kitchen, but maybe the man he needs to guide him on his sexual awakening.

Indulge Me– Chef Bastian Aquino is a notorious control freak. He makes the first and the last decisions at his restaurant, Terroir. Kian is his new intern and the chef he’s going to guide to an insanely successful career. Except Kian knows that their relationship could be so much more than just work; they could be the perfect pairing if only Bastian could see it.

These four--roommates have stories to tell. Awkward, humorous, passionate, hard headed, stubborn stories to tell.
Books 1-4 all conveniently collected in a box set for those of us who like to only start a series when it is complete so we don't have to wai fo the next installment to release so that we can binge the entire thing in one fell swoop Loved the collection option!

Now on to the boys...Miles, Wyatt, Xander and Kian. These men had to give a little to find their HEA and some of their journeys were more life changing than others.
Miles in book 1 has to battle his producer's vision of his "new" show and creative control is a beast with this pastry chef and his new love. Can they ever see eye to eye or are they doomed to fall flat?
Wyatt is new to the private chef to the rich and famous baseball star but even more green at being the fake boyfriend of the baseball dreamboat. Many misunderstood intentions/plans set this couple on a path to hit it out of the park or strike out.
Book 3-Xander is a frustrated and angry chef. Not appreciated and passed over and he's had it. A chance encounter a year ago could possibly all it takes for his chef's jacket to shimmer a blue that catches his breath if he can only get through his love's own demons to open himself up to the happily ever after they both deserve.
Kian and The Bastard have miles to go before they sleep. Like years worth. Kian was starstruck and lovestruck the moment he laid eyes on the head chef at Terroir and no one could convince him otherwise, not even the object of his affection. Can these two rise above the gossip and the noise in their own circles to find their own way out of a seemingly impossible situation.? Where love is the foundation, theirs always hope.
Delightful from beginning to end. I have to say Xander and Kian's books were my favorites and I loved how the extended epilogues kept trying all the stories together.
I'm looking forward to beginning Tony's story in Food Truck Wars.

I’ve read this author before but not this series. I listened to the audio book. This is a mm contemporary romance. The main characters are Miles a chef and very uptight Evan a television producer. Enemies to lovers genre and boy do they hate each other. Love wins in the end. A great story.

Book 2 in this series. I listened to the audio book. The main characters are chef Wyatt and baseball player Ryan. Ryan needs to fix his image up and his manager suggests a fake boyfriend. Ryan and Wyatt meet as a hookup but there are true feelings. Lots of errors on Ryan’s side but they ended up together with Wyatt forgiving Ryan after some epic grovelling. Update from secondary characters that have been in other books in this series.

Book 3 in this series. I listened to the audio book. This is a mm contemporary story. Main characters are Xander a chef at Terroir and Damon Huss a recovering alcoholic. Long romance for these two with lots of fights in between. They end with a restaurant that sells no alcohol. Update for other characters in the series.

This is Book 4 and the last story of the series. I listened to the audiobook. The main characters are Grumpy Chef Bastian, owner of Terrior restaurant and Kian the last of the friend who share a house in the Napa Valley and all worked or work at Terrior. Bastion is know as the bastard among the terrior worker for good reason but Kian still likes him. An Age gap and a slow burn over 2 years, these two finally get together. There are updates from Wyatt, Miles and Xander as well in this story.

Beth Bolden’s Kitchen Gods series is full of warmth and heart and heat. About four aspiring chefs slaving away at a top tier restaurant in Napa Valley, each book gives readers not only the best of the journey to an HEA, but also reveals some of the fascinating depth, personalities, and sheer hard work that go into making a restaurant a success. Definitely straight to the keeper shelf for this set.

I enjoyed books 1-2-4 a lot but not so much book 3. I felt the appeal of book 3 individuals lacking. Books 1-2-4 I enjoyed the stories and the individuals.. book 3 I was kinda to the point I didn’t care about them. All the books intertwine the friends and for me that was a great plus. I do recommend the series

This series is absolutely amazing. one of my new faves to listen to again.
Each book has great and complex characters and problems and get worked through in time.
The common point is they all worked at Terroir and were so unhappy with how Chef Aquino handled his staff with his arrogance and controlling behavior they left a safe job to pursue their own dreams.
We get a build up in books 1-3 of Chef Aquino and really hate him through out the series and when you get to his book (4) everything starts to fall into place.
Kian who was once the quiet and shy intern, finally finds his voice and challenges Aquino in the restaurant and in their relationship. But as things are finally falling into place another "enemy" appears in the kitchen.
Overall, this series was so so so good. and worth more then one re-read or re-listen.

What an absolute treat to get all of Beth’s delicious Kitchen Gods books under one book ! Each book feature a new couple that are totally couple goals and my favourite part is always the moments leading up to them getting together, Beth’s way of having her characters banter never fails to put a smile on my face!

You know when you get an audio box set from an author you love, and you wish you could just listen to it all day long without having real life intrude? This was definitely the case. Unfortunately real life didn’t care about my wishes so I just had to steal a few listening minutes here and there whenever I could! But it was so worth it. As always, Beth Bolden ‘s characters are impossible not to fall in love with! She has a great writing style that keeps me engaged and wanting more, and her stories are always a rollercoaster of emotions. The performance by the narrator was also great, it was my first time listening to Wyatt Baker, but it definitely won’t be my last!
If you love food, food shows, restaurants in any combination, this series is for you!
