    I’ve had this on my TBR for ages and finally picked it up. I definitely enjoyed the story and the premise was something I’d never read before.

    Teo puts and an out on a dating site for a man who will treat him like he loves him. He wants to lose his virginity to “get it over with” but he requests that Jo names are exchanged and no words are spoken. He hits the jackpot (pun intended) when a pilot named Jack answers the ad looking for a quick hookup. These two have instant chemistry and when they find each other again, it’s magnetic. It’s a bit of an insta lust trope but with its own spin.

    Overall, I think some of the side characters could have been better developed but it’s a nice page turner with low angst.

    The love story between Teo and Jack is truly heartwarming. Their journey is about fighting for each other and realizing that the lives they thought they wanted didn’t feel complete without one another. I particularly loved how Teo and Jack celebrate and care for one another in such a genuine way. Their love feels so pure, shining through in both the quiet, tender moments and the passionate ones.

    The emotional tension is handled masterfully, pulling me into their struggles and triumphs. And, of course, the intimate moments are both sizzling and deeply meaningful.

    Without reading the book, I knew it would be good because Lennox’s stories never fail to deliver warmth, love, and sexy, beautiful romance. This one is no exception, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

    Oh. My. God. I absolutely love these guys. I was invested in these two beautiful people from the first page to the last. But first, let me talk about other things.
    The author, with a minimum of words, showed the locations these characters were living in and moving through, making me feel like I was there with them.
    The secondary characters are supportive of the storyline, and I developed definite feelings about most of them, good and bad. I appreciate the input from the author on these characters that allowed me to see more of them and their quirks, so I could make a more informed assessment of them and how they fit into Teo and Jack’s lives.
    The trope is a popular one, but the author comes at it with a fresh outlook and makes it new again.
    The author did not make a fuss about the ten-year age difference between Teo and Jack, as I've seen in other books lately. I'm glad. It's not a big difference.
    There is enough backstory on these two to give the reader a good idea of where they’ve been but not so much that it took over the piece.
    The give and take on that first night was incredibly moving. The gentleness, warmth, care, and attention had me leaning into my kindle with bated breath, imagining every move and almost feeling every sigh. That has got to be the best lovemaking scene I have ever read. Just thinking of it gives me goosebumps and warm fuzzies.
    Teo is the sweetest, kindest character I've read in a long while. He has so many good qualities, and watching him blossom with Jack was lovely to see.
    Jack is sweet and kind also, even while he is protective and fierce about Teo. I love that the author gave them these characteristics and kept the angst low.
    And the conversations they had, whether clothed or unclothed, had a rawness and honesty that you don’t see that often. Just having talks about who they are and why in between bouts of lovemaking and candy. That is good stuff.
    I am satisfied with their HEA, finding it believable and long-lasting.
    I enjoyed this and hated for it to end.
    I look forward to more by this author.

    I love Lucy's writing and my favorite is ones like these where they are not interconnected to anything else. I can just read it and enjoy it without needing 20 books of background knowledge or I feel like I'm missing out.

    The plot was so real. Our MMC is in love with his best friend who does just enough to keep him hanging on, but refuses to pursue an actual relationship. He's doing this knowingly and the ANGST! But poor MMC is in love with him and waiting on the day they will eventually be together.

    UNTIL!

    MMC decides that he needs SOME experiance under his belt. But he doesn't just want some hook up app fling. He wants someone to treat him like he's loved and special. So he sets the scene. One night with a stranger. No talking, but treat me like I matter to you, and OMG does MMC2 DELIVER!

    The spice is spicing. An unforgettable night that neither can get out of their heads. But unrequited love for your best friend doesn't go away so easily and how Lucy handled this was chef's kiss.

    10/10 would read again.

    I didn't even read what this book was about before downloading it, Lucy is an automatic download for me and she didn't disappoint. Teo and Jack were loveable main characters, they were beautifully written and their voices were clear; it was always obvious which characters chapter you were reading. I absolutely loved this story and couldn't put it down. Honestly wanted it to go on forever and was so happy they got their happily ever after. There's definitely options for more though with this group of characters I'd be nice to have Ty's story and even Chris's. Fantastic read as always. Definitely recommend.
