If not for a certain incident that took place towards the end of this book I would have rated it higher. *spoiler* how can a person on board be held to the same rules and punishment as the crew when said person is not a crew member, but a hostage? I understand the reasons the author gave for his actions towards her but the logic is flawed. It was a completely unnecessary event that served to turn me off of this series. if you don't mind physical abuse in romance then this book is for you. This is part 1 and ends on a cliffhanger.

I didn't finish the book. I am really getting tired of these books where people fall in love with captors, killers, terrorist, etc. just because they are attractive. If these men weren't attractive, there would be little to no doubt about trying to get away. Either everyone in this genre is writing the same book or I just need to stop reading this genre for a while.

I don't know what is love from this story. I cry for her I hope that this is not to be a reality. Just don't describe this kind of love because this make some people wants to wander around it. Some of their have reason behind love.
