Naughty or Nice #8

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me

Rate this book

Dear Santa,

I know I have a lot and I shouldn’t ask for more. But all I want is a Daddy that’s okay being a dad too.
I love my daughter, but I’m still a boy at heart. I know what I’m asking for is hard. Maybe even impossible. But I have to try.

Sebastian is happy with his life, but there’s something missing. A Daddy to call his own. When he goes on a blind date with a Daddy from his app, he never expects the whole thing is a set up. There’s no way this much younger guy is a Daddy, right?

Maddox has skeletons of his own. The last thing he wants is to be a Daddy right now, no matter how much he misses it. How much he craves it. But Sebastian needs guiding and his darling little girl touches a part of his heart he thought was long dead.

Can Sebastian earn Maddox’s trust and get the relationship he’s always wanted?

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is part of the Naughty or Nice multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many boys hoping that holiday magic will bring them their perfect Daddy, why not grab them all?

Great comfort read.

---------------------------

I liked this more than I expected!
I've read a few of the books in this Naughty and Nice series, and a lot are just not that great. But here the writing felt smooth, and the more I read the more I started to enjoy it.

I really liked that Maddox was the younger daddy, while Sebastian was slightly older, took care of his daughter, but was still a boy. I loved that this was never an issue between them.

I was afraid these guys would try to keep is casual, since Maddox starts off by telling himself he doesn't want a relationship. But that goes out the window soon enough, and before he knows it he's in a relationship with sweet Sebastian and loving it.

Overall I really liked this and I should check out more books by this author.

Oh yeah, I loved this one, all the feelings, engaging characters, great development, steady plot!

Sebastian has a dream, a family, people around who would stay with you. He has a sweet six-year-old daughter and a foster mom, brother, and sister. Deep down there is a yearning for a husband and Daddy.

Would write a letter in the Cuffd app help?

To satisfy his friend, Maddox will go out with a boy from the Cuffd app, it will only be a one-time thing, casual, nothing more. But meeting Sebastian does something to him, he can’t seem to use the word ‘casual’.
Maddox is the Daddy Sebastian is looking for, only Sebastian is insecure, why would a younger handsome guy want to date him. Maddox is smitten by Sebastian but reluctant because of his bad experience with his ex Ryan.
Maddox is surrounded by Sebastian’s warm family, so much warmer than Maddox’s.
Maddox’s self-esteem is a bit damaged by his demanding family and if he doesn’t watch out it could damage his relationship with Sebastian.

This narrative had a nice amount of hurt comfort, not too much drama, it was all quite plausible.
All the great friends, family, and business matters together made this an awesome story.
Gosh, I loved this one hard, it had just the right boyfriend and Daddy/boy dynamic, both men were beautifully flawed, it was all very satisfying.
Overall a well balanced, sexy, sweet, warm, exciting narrative. All the stars for this one!

I like this one it was good

***Spoilers here and there***

I like this one waaaay better than the last book I read. That other one was boring as heck. I liked Sebastian and Maddox story.

They were a right fit for each other and it was a good thing that Dylan made Maddox a page and contacted Sebastian when he knew that it was someone Maddox needed.

Plus Maddox got a better family in the end. Because his parents especially his mom and his brothers were horrible to him. Just because he didn’t finished school or go to a good college. Going to college doesn’t always get you a good job. It just depends on what type of business that you want.

Sebastian showed that you can get a business without a degree. But Maddox did complete a degree to become a Mechanic like his best friend Dylan but that wasn’t good enough for his mom.

I was glad when he didn’t let none get to him and continue to work on himself and be with Seb. I saw that he didn’t bring his nieces around it was always Kendrick kids and Aria.

Sebastian and Maddox weren't my favorite couple, but I still really enjoyed their sweet romance.

Though at times I struggled to connect with the dialogue in this story, I immediately fell in love with all the characters in this book. Whether it was Dylan and Kendrick being the best wingmen ever, Sarah with her warm, welcoming presence, or Aria's youthful innocence, I was incredibly invested in their lives right from the start. It was easy for me to overlook the awkwardness of some of Sebastian and Maddox's dates when everything else in this story showed me what kind, amazing people they were. While both men had some serious hangups to work through before they were ready to commit to anything long-term, I could see the potential for something beautiful very early into the story. The more these men went through together, from rough family situations to insane work stress, the more convinced I became that this Daddy had found his perfect boy. As much as I loved the romance, I have to admit that the other plot points weren't as satisfying for me. Nothing concrete ever happened with Maddox's family, and though it was exciting to see how everything played out with Sebastian's work, I never got the closure I was expecting from that situation either. Even the relationship "make-or-break" point felt very random and unplanned to me. I still loved the happily-ever-after for this adorable family, but I would have loved to see more from the outside story elements.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Hated the manufactured "drama." Also, what was the point of Sebastian eavesdropping on the brothers' nonsense comments if it was not going to be factored into the story?

Just ok

This book was just ok. I felt like the author kept forgetting what they wrote previously. Like Maddox asked Bash out on the phone after his shower because he technically didn't ask him out in the firsy place but then later in the book he was explaining to Bash how it was actually Declan he was texting first and who set the date up. Same with Ari's adoption I felt like the time line was all over the place for that.
And I felt no connection b/w any of the characters really, not even the 2 MC's.

Awww, I can’t believe this is the last book in the Naughty or Nice series. This whole series has been the best and I wish there were more books to read.

This one is definitely ranked my #2 favorite from the whole series. A younger Daddy, Maddox, who was a bit broken from his last boy and an older boy, Sebastian, who was a bit insecure about his age, his body, everything. Sebastian also has a 5 year old daughter and is looking for something more like forever.

They were both so cute together - I freaking loved it so much. Sebastian showed Maddox that he can also take care of his Daddy, that it doesn’t always have to be one-sided. Maddox also fit right into his life and had room in his heart for his daughter as well.

When Maddox left Sebastian at the garage, I felt so bad for Sebastian that I had a few tears. I was a bit annoyed at Maddox for that but I’m glad that they worked out their differences. The epilogue was great and I loved their HEA.

Definitely worth the read. I’m leaning somewhere around a 4.75⭐️ for this one. It was just so sweet and that’s the kind of story I love.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is a wonderful Daddy kink romance. Part of the multi-author Naughty or Nice series, I love this Rheland Richmond gem!

A little who's looking for a Daddy. Nothing unique there, right? But, omg, the little has a child. As for the Daddy, he's not looking for a little since he was hurt in the past. I love this!!!

Sebastian's a single father. I love how he is with his child, but I love even more that he needs his own daddy. Enter Maddox, who's previously been hurt and wasn't interested in being a Daddy again. Until he meets Sebastian.

I love the layers involved with both men. Both are well developed, flaws and all. Sebastian struggles with his needs, feeling he's too old to be a boy. Maddox is totally fighting his need to be a daddy. But with Sebastian, everything just meshes. It's fun seeing both men find exactly what they need in the other, all their hesitations.

These men are wonderful together. They each value the other as a person, as well as for their role in their BDSM relationship. The connection between the two just makes their chemistry even better.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is a fabulous Daddy kink read. Rheland Richmond perfectly combines sweet with heat in this one. It's an easy and delightful read.

So sweet

This series is great I love seeing all the different Daddies. Some of the books have been better than others but this one was really good. I loved that both Sebastian and Maddox had insecurities that they needed to overcome to move forward in a healthy relationship. I felt bad that Sebastian was so down on himself because of his weight but loved that Maddox refused to let him put himself down. Maddox's family annoyed me. I wanted to scream at his mother to stop being so rude to him. But Sebastian and Maddox together were fantastic. Really sexy and sweet.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is the 8th book in the Naughty or Nice series by multiple authors. Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is written by Rheland Richmond. This story is about single dad Sebastian and Maddox. Sebastian is afraid that he is too old to be a boy. Maddox told himself he was done with being a Daddy but then he met Sebastian. Sebastian and his darling daughter touch something within him.

I loved their story. They were amazing together. Their story was sweet, sexy, hot and very well written.

I highly recommend this book
(This whole series actually)

I loved this twist on the Daddy/boy trope. Sebastian is a father to an adorably precocious daughter and is older than Maddox. That doesn't mean Sebastian isn't the perfect boy for Maddox. After being betrayed by his previous boy, Maddox is cautious and not sure he's ready for another relationship. But Sebastian is able to show him their relationship doesn't have to be a one-way street and he can be supportive and take care of Maddox, too.
Plenty of heat and not much angst at all. Definitely worth a read!

3.5 stars - A lovely story. I didn't quite connect with the characters, which is why I rounded down, but I think that was more of a mood thing and not because the book wasn't good enough. Though the kink was on the light side and could have been naughtier ;)

It has to be hard to be a single parent and kinky, but I think Sebastian definitely built up a good support system.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is the last book in the the wonderful Naughty or Nice Series. I love the concept of this series, a kink website’s holiday promotion of having needy boys write a letter to Santa asking for their perfect Daddy. Each book deals with a different spin on the theme and this one has so many that I love!
Supportive chosen family
Single dad who is also a boy AND older AND not physically perfect
Younger daddy
Interesting and well developed side characters.

One thing I really respected in this book was that Daddy Maddox shows emotional vulnerability and his boy Sebastian is there to support him. It turns their dynamic into a true partnership as well as a ds one. I love to see daddy/ds book that show both MCs as true equals rather than portray a sub or boy as needy and the daddy wise and all knowing. It makes the Daddy more of a real person and less just an ideal.

Both Sebastian and and Maddox have been hurt before and while Sebastian is all in sooner, Maddox has a lot to work through. In fact, his friend sets up their initial meeting and he intends to explain to Sebastian that he isn’t interested in being a Daddy again. However, he can’t resist the feelings of protection Sebastian brings out in him, and really who could? Sebastian is lovely flaws and all, a too hardworking loving single father who rose from less than an auspicious start to life and has created a chosen family around him and in return is giving his adopted daughter a family. He needs someone to take care of him! I took a little while to warm up to Maddox, he fights their connection every step and has to learn to let go of his baggage and see Sebastian for who he is, not his selfish ex.

There is a lot of sweetness, a lot of heat and enough just enough angst to keep you hooked without bringing you down. If you want a twist in the classic daddy/boy trope I recommend Dear Daddy Please Trust Me as well as the rest of the books in the series.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me
By Rheland Richmond

Sebastian wants a Daddy more than anything this Christmas. He has a business he owns, a wonderful little daughter, and a foster mom that treats him like a son, but he has no one to cuddle in bed with, no one to call Daddy, and no one to be the big spoon to his little spoon.

Maddox is a manager for a car garage and hoping to buy the business when his boss decides to sell. His last boy used him and ripped his heart out, leaving him with no desire to ever trust another boy again. But when his best friend sets up an account for him on the Cuff'd app and finds who he thinks will be the perfect boy for Maddox, he might just change his mind.

I adored Sebastian and his daughter. He's sweet, strong, and wants the best for everyone. Maddox was a good man, but let his overbearing family and user of an ex have too much space in his head and spent too much time keeping Sebastian at arms length. I had a really hard time connecting to him as a character.

The story had almost no angst between the MC's, and when there finally was a bit, you were just left wondering why Maddox couldn't see Sebastian for who he truly was.

It could have been improved by It could have also been improved with more Christmas activities that were in-the-moment instead of happening whenever his daughter went to her Uncle's leaving you with seeing none of it. It's a Christmas story! Give us some Christmas feelings.

I'll say it was okay, but I didn’t feel any Christmas love.

I love this book. The characters are genuine with their own flaws and insecurities, but trying to take the chances that will let them have their HEA. Maddox and Sebastian were perfect together. Maddox needed somebody who would genuinely appreciate and need his care whilst also valuing him as a person and providing him the support he needed. Sebastian needed somebody who wouldn’t let him be negative about himself and would give him all the love in the world, whilst also needing the love Sebastian had so much of to give.

What I really liked was that this was a true relationship. Sometimes in these types of books there is a missing element in the relationship because all the love and support seems one-sided. Daddies are people too, they have insecurities, can get hurt, can doubt themselves - they need someone to tell them they are worth something and supported too. Relationships rarely work when only one person provides comfort and support; they’re about mutual respect and caring. That’s exactly what this book gives. Maddox is without a doubt a loving and wonderful Daddy, but Sebastian is able to give Maddox a quiet strength to counteract all the negativity Maddox gets from his family (grrr his family made me so mad!).

The story is sweet and has a good measure of Christmas magic (perhaps in the forms of a very bossy best-friend and a nosy brother). It’s low angst and is perfect for a cozy night in!

Love

This book was so sweet, I could cry...... Sebastian and Maddox were a match made in heaven.

Sometimes it is hard to find good books from new authors that I simply adore... I am happy to say that is not the case. I love a good book with angst, but...... I also love books that are funny, warm and fluffy.

Funny, warm and fluffy won out this time and I'm happy to say Rheland has found a brand new reader. Be careful Rheland, I'm gonna have to stalk you and read anything you've ever written and anything that has yet to come.

Sebastian was a single dad (love a man who's good with children) who truly couldn't see his worth (can relate) but with come urging from his big brother, he signs up for an app called Cuffed.... On this map he meets Maddox our Daddy of the book. Maddox comes from a well off family who just can't seem to see him for anything but his job.

In their adventure down love lane, they find that amazingly they just get each other. Maddox effortlessly steps into the role of Daddy for our Boy and in each other they find what they need and want.

"Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me" has well developed characters and an awesome plot that simply gave me the warm fuzzy wuzzy feels. I truly think this is a book that anyone into MM romances would love, if they gave it a chance.

I owe Susi's fan page for bringing it to my attention, I truly enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading more of Rheland's book in the future.

I was given a free arc copy from the author for review.

They saved the best for last. Though they are all really great.

Both the MCs are well developed and very loveable. They had great chemistry. I enjoyed all the other characters as well. The plot is interesting the whole way through. I read this all at once. Very low angst. Medium heat though some of the scenes were extra hot. I loved it. It's sweet, sexy and romantic. There are some insecurities, assumptions and miscommunication but given their pasts it all felt understandable. It wasn't overboard and the moments didn't last long. No instalove. Relationship develops realistically over time. This book features and older Daddy and younger boy which u don't often see.

Maddox is a mechanic who comes from a very snobby judgemental family. He wants a boy but casually. He had a bad experience last time so he's reluctant. His friend and coworker pretends to be him and signs him up on a Daddy dating app and then picks out Sebastian and sets up a date.

Maddox lives with his foster/adoptive mom and he has a 6 year old foster/adoptive daughter. He wants a Daddy but is hesitant with his daughter. His foster brother makes him sign up on the Daddy app.

Both agree to meet up and state they will keep things casual but over time a connection forms and walls drop.

Heartwarming and original daddy kink holiday romance! I loved this story’s setup, with the boy being a single parent and (slightly) older than his daddy. Sebastian is simply endearing. He’s such a loving father to Aria but also lonely and battling with low self-esteem. You can’t not root for him. Maddox tugged on my heartstrings as well, though in a different way. He is drawn to Sebastian from the first, but he doubts his instincts, himself, and potential boyfriends because of past events – self-sabotage is definitely something he needs to watch out for. His family doesn’t exactly help matters, but he is fortunate in his friends. This story is very much about finding family and has plenty of secondary characters who make a terrific supporting cast for both Sebastian and Maddox. I especially loved that Maddox and Aria connected so well. The caring aspect is one of my favorite things about the daddy kink trope, and I really enjoyed how that part of Sebastian and Maddox’s relationship was written. Their interactions are so sweet, funny, and yes, hot. Loved them together!

Maddox and Sebastian are too sweet for words. The tenderness and care that develops between them made my heart ache in the best way. Struggling to trust in what he really wants and needs again after the recent betrayal by his ex, Maddox cannot deny his instant attraction to Sebastian. But it’s so much more than mere physical attraction. He quickly finds himself just wanting to take care of Bash and hold him, and just be whatever Bash needs from him. And no fear, there are a lot of moments in which he gets to do exactly that! But not only does Maddox take care of Sebastian, but Bash gives back just as good and finally shows Maddox what it truly means to be in an equal relationship.

For any who may be a little apprehensive, the kink element is what I would call fairly light. Their relationship is explored in the most genuine way, and they really are just the sweetest and most swoon worthy couple! It’s also very light on angst and drama, and as a bonus, the side characters are phenomenal. I highly recommend giving this a read!

Sebastian is happy with his life running his own company with his brother and caring for his daughter but something is missing - he needs a Daddy but that is going to be impossible as they need to love his daughter too. So he turns to the Cuffd app hoping for a miracle from Santa but when he goes on a date with his match he is convinced that it is a set-up as a younger man can't be a Daddy. Maddox has his own skeletons and he doesn't really want to be a Daddy to anyone right now even though he misses it however Sebastian needs guidance and his little girl touches a part of his heart that he long thought of as dead. Can Sebastian earn Maddox’s trust and get the relationship he’s always wanted?

I liked this sweet story with the single Dad who needs a Daddy to take on both himself and his daughter. I liked Maddox even though his past mistakes really did cloud his judgement at times. Maddox's best friend and Sebastian's brother both should get most of the credit for this working out. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains mature content in a MM BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

This is the last book of this series and one of the better entries. It's not a fluff piece. There's some interesting drama and dynamics between Maddox and Sebastian. They both have substantial character development as well. I loved reading their love story. Both men are charming and perfect for each other. I liked that Sebastian had a daughter, making the book feel more grounded.

I loved the small confrontation that Maddox has with his parents. Sebastian being able to shut them up and show off a bit for Maddox without doing so intentionally was such a fun scene to read. I wanted to rub their noses in it as much as the characters did.

As each book in the series is a standalone, this one comes highly recommended. I think it's one of the better written ones. There's just enough conflicts to buy into the relationship. A great end to a great series.

A sweet Daddy romance

Yet another wonderful story in the Naughty or Nice series. Rheland Richmond has written two men who are in desperate need of each other and it's only pushy brothers and best friends that get them connected in the first place.
Sebastian definitely needs a daddy to care for him as when it comes to work emergencies, he has no sense of self care and Maddox has been beaten down by his family's constant negative opinions and his ex boyfriends crappy actions. Together, There is a connection that they share in every level if their relationship but it takes trust and love to get them to their HEA, the first especially needing some work. With the help of well meaning family and friends, there is always hope on the horizon.
Definitely a recommended book and series.
