Daddy's Girl Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 511 ratings

Omegas were selfish, conniving, manipulative drama queens, and the last thing Kyron wanted was one either in his house or bed. But due to a ridiculous inheritance stipulation he had one month to get an omega pregnant, or he would lose the house, the estate, and the vineyard his family had owned for generations.

Tolly hated Alphas. They were bossy, egotistical, self-absorbed wind-bags that thought the world belonged to them. But because of an accident his dad had lost his job and their home, making the money Kyron was offering to give him a baby look pretty damn tempting.

Forced together by circumstances both men are determined to see their arrangement through. Except the longer they stay together, neither of them is sure they want it to end.

This is a great story taking place in a world where there are only males who are either alphas or omegas who can give birth.

Tolly is an omega but he is different from other omegas and has suffered for it his whole life.

He and Kyron meet when Kyron needs a contract with an omega to give him an heir.

There is a lot of information about wine making. Plenty of action and suspense and a wonderful twist at the end when Tolly and Kyron's baby is born. Kyron is swoony as he tries to woo Tolly and convince him that he is the love of his life.

I’ve read this author before. This is a mpreg non shifter story. The main characters are Kyron a wealthy alpha vineyard owner and Tolly an omega. Lots of twists and turns. With drama as well. Amazing story.

I enjoyed the twist of an "big ugly " omaga for a change. I also found the plot twist of the aftermath of a war. 90% of the planet is water. The mystery of the story are many. Who is sabotaging the winery? Who is responsible for the accidents? Then the real mystery what's wrong with the omaga's son?

I have read other books by this author that I really enjoyed, so I gave this one a shot despite it being clear that it had mpreg in it, which isn't my thing.

As best I could tell, the characters lived in an alternate Earth where women had died out. They now had alpha males (traditional men) and omega males (who gave birth to the babies). It was an interesting concept and I thought there was a lot of thought put into how they came to be in this situation (how the women died out, etc.) and also things like the birthing clinics and professional omegas.

The couple in this story are Kyron and Tolly. Kyron is an alpha, but smaller than a typical alpha. Tolly is an omega, but much larger than a typical omega. I'm not sure why the author felt that was necessary, and it seemed a little contrived, but whatever. The book is kind of built around the idea that Tolly has been rejected all his life for being different, and there is a definite motto that we should accept and love people for who they are, even if they're different.

It's blatantly obvious from the title and cover that Tolly gives birth to a girl, so I don't feel like I'm giving away a spoiler there. The doctors are, understandably, baffled by the idea that the child doesn't have the usual male genitalia, and I thought that was quite well handled. However, at the end of the book, a researcher of ancient history reveals the grand truth that the reader has known all along - it's not a malformed boy, it's a girl! Everyone is pleased and The End. Wait, what? They didn't even know girls existed prior to that moment, but they accept it and all is well. I understood when they accepted their malformed 'son' and agreed to love him regardless of any deformities. I get that. But someone announces that there's this mysterious second gender that no one living has ever heard of, let alone seen, and they just go 'Oh yep, cool.' Um, what?

There's a whole suspense/mystery thing happening in the background. I had my suspicions as to the baddie, and I ended up being right, but I wouldn't say it was blatantly obvious. On the whole, I thought the suspense and mystery were handled quite well.

I liked some of the supporting characters, such as Kyron's Papa and the omegas that Tolly gets to know. Overall, I gave this book three stars. I felt there was this huge dramatic lead up to the first girl born in centuries, and then it was just unbelievably (literally, as it defied belief) anticlimactic.

Kyron needs an Omega to keep his family vineyard. Tolly needs money to save his fathers and help them with a home to live. What starts out as a contract swiftly turns to more. This was sooo good! There’s a good mystery with some twist and turns. Overall a fantastic story!! I’m voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I received.

It was a very interesting book. I love how it features adoption and that the omega weren't pushovers or overly feminine, which tends to happen in mprrg stories. It was nice to see a story where bottoms were represented as masculine men. The only thing I did not like was how they found out about a while other gender that was wiped out and were like "oh that's cool, what's for dinner?" I felt that post was very rushed and not handled properly. It was a let down. I also would have loved a scene where Kyron apologized to Isaac and they talked it out. But really good read.

The deep undertones of this story gives us a glimpse of what can happen when we let the worst of us dictate our future. Lots of twists and turns with a very hopeful ending. Awesome work.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful world building!

Ms Sue is an expert creating amazing worlds in which heartfelt love stories, happen in the middle of complex and interesting plots. Kyron and Tolly story is one of the best examples of this. Set in an omegaverse, their story shuffled many twists and turns, as they kept fighting against discrimination, misunderstandings, their pasts and themselves to get a future together. A very interesting book! I can't wait to read more stories set in this Universe.

A very good read that I thoroughly enjoyed and couldn't put down. The characters are well drawn and the story engaging. The clue to the mystery is in the title. Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Enjoyable Read

This book was somewhat different to my usual read as I rarely read Alpha and Omega, m-preg or shifter stories but this book caught my eye and I’m glad I gave it a go. Kyron was a gentle and kind alpha and Tolly was a lovely Omega, different to others and looking more like an alpha, he had had a troubled past and was insecure and battling his demons but when he finally realised that Kyron did love him they were really happy together. There was a plot line with lots of twists and turns and I have to say that I didn’t guess the bad guy. All in all an enjoyable read.

I loved this one and I’ve read series before that were all Male and this is the only one that made sense. The amount of why he when there’s only one gender or why goddesses has always baffled Me. An brilliant read for onegaverse lovers . A must read too

Lovely story line. But I feel the end was rushed.Plenty of twists and turns, but the main event got too little story line. Would have liked to know how everyone ended up.
