The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as they have a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

    I really can’t say enough about how much I love this book and the whole No Shame series. Beautifully written, perfectly balanced, well developed characters and story...so heartfelt, and definitely sexy.
    Truly, seeing all my favorite characters again in No Angel was awesome-such a unique but deeply connected chosen family. The emotions between these wonderful men are tangible, and the chemistry and heat is off the charts. Seeing how Noah, Indy, Josh, and Conner truly seal their relationship was beautiful. Watching Miles, Brad, and Charlie settle in even more to their dynamic was awesome as well. Blake and Aaron managed to surprise me a bit, but in the best way. Everyone’s support of Indy’s choices and Connor’s pain in all the ways they needed, plus even giving Burke a bit of redemption, was so endearing and also an example of how I wish everyone acted to support their family and friends in life. Plus we met a couple new and awesome characters that add to the story as well.
    I was smiling and laughing and even crying once or twice (and I rarely do that when reading!), plus fanning myself at times too!
    I literally can’t get enough of this series and it’s a frequent re-read, and I love adding No Angel to my collection.
    My only complaint (that really isn’t a complaint, just a dream lol) about this book is that love a few more chapters, or maybe 100 more, or heck a few more books added for that matter while I’m dreaming!
    I highly recommend this book-it is not a standalone, so if you haven’t read the No Shame series first you should. But you should do that anyway because all 5 (and look for bonus content too) are amazing, as is Nora Phoenix. Love has No Shame!!

    No Angel is the fifth book in the No Shames series and is more of a follow up to the series as a whole rather than a separate book. This follows all of the characters introduced in the series – Josh, Indy, Noah, Connor, Miles, Brad, Charlie, Aaron, and Blake – and tells more of the story from each of their POVs.

    No Angel centers around the holidays and the foursome’s wedding, but by the end of the story, all of the house’s secrets are finally out in the open. Miles, Brad, and Charlie are still working out their dynamics together and how to interact in front of others outside of the house. Connor is dealt a serious personal blow that could have a lot of ramifications, but the whole family closes ranks to support him.

    “You’ll find there’s not a more welcoming bunch than these people. They will take you in as one of their own if you’ll accept them as they are.”

    I loved the new characters that were introduced (or re-introduced) in this story – Wander, Burke, the new DA, Wander’s security team, etc. – and really hope we get to see more of them in the future. Wander’s immediate assessment of the dynamics in the house was priceless!

    This book features just as much love, acceptance, and sexy times as Nora’s other books. Would highly recommend for those that love this series!

    The boys are back!!

    Nora has given us all the follow up we all were wanting, and followed through on some much promised scenes that were not in the original series. I was so happy to catch up with Noah, Indy, Josh, Connor, Brad, Miles and Charlie! Even Blake and Aaron visit and catch us up on their relationship. It starts with the much anticipated wedding of the 4, and goes from there.... and you are not left wanting at all!

    As always, Nora has done a great job weaving all 7 of these guys and theirs different relationships with each other seamlessly. She did tease a little with Blake and Aaron and I am hoping there will be an update novella focused on them in the future! We were also re-introduced to Burke and introduced to Wagner, both of whom I have a feeling we will be seeing more of...at least my fingers are crossed for this.

    This book was not your typical love story. The family that the author has created is definitely not a typical family. All the different personalities, with their individual needs, just weave themselves together into such a memorable story.

    Josh and Indy are very special together. Add Noah and Connor to the mix and it becomes incendiary. This book went in directions I hadn’t anticipated. Some of the bonds that were formed were surprising but exactly as they needed to be to make the story work so well.

    If this is the last story the author writes about these characters it was a fulfilling and fitting end. However, I’m pretty sure Wander will finagle his own book at some point!

    The series really needs to be read as a whole to understand the complicated relationships involved.

I love each and every one of them and I love the family that they've built. Indy is quite the devious one. I loved his idea and I'm only sorry that we didn't get to see every single fantasy play out but I had a lot of fun guessing right along side them.

    I'm sad to see these boys go there is no doubt about that. I have absolutely loved this series and while the majority of the books have earned three stars the whole series is easily five star worthy. All the characters are fantastic and the way the author has interwoven there stories and relationships was brilliant. Honestly an amazing series that I definitely recommend.
