I Pucking Love You by Pippa Grant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 🌶🌶🌶 😅😂🤣 This song is EXACTLY Muffy & Tyler. Yes her name is Muffy, don't even start. If you are STILL sleeping on this series, you're going to be so mad when you finally start reading it. It's the funniest, sweetest series about completely unique characters that all have obstacles. I laughed my ash off every single book. Teared up or cried in every single book. Got angry and almost threw every single book. This is supposed to be a single book review but I can't get over how much I adore this series. Stop scrolling and go read them RIGHT NOW.

    A truly FANTASTIC, outlandish, and romantic back half more than makes up for the slow start on this one. We’ll talk about that slow start in a minute, but I’ve gotta talk about my love of Tyler and Muffy first. These two are the quintessential quirky couple, and their love story is SO FUNNY, offbeat, and smile-inducing… plus it’s got some stellar sexual tension. Once I got a better feel for the story, I really fell for these two, and the back half was so, so good. It’s low angst, playful, and 100% unique. Prepare to laugh often while reading this heartfelt rom com, because there’s no way you won’t fall for this couple once you get to know them.

    How do I explain the plot without sounding like a crazy person? I don’t think I can. Essentially, the story follows Muffy and Tyler, two semi-friends who had a not-so-sexy hookup a few months ago. While they had started to get close in a semi-friendly, semi-flirty way before the encounter, the hookup had our playboy hero running scared. Tyler’s got way too many sisters to ever want a real relationship (he doesn’t need one more woman in his life), so hooking up with someone he genuinely enjoys spending time with complicates matters. So does the fact that he hasn’t been able to “get excited” ever since, whether he’s alone or with someone else. When Muffy needs a plus one to a vaguely described event, Tyler jumps at the chance – he’s hoping that figuring out where he went wrong will make everything right in his world again. But he’s got no idea what he’s in for.

    So let’s talk about that slow start. There are two things that kept me a little detached at the beginning, so it took longer than usual to love this. One, the book opens with Tyler trying (unsuccessfully) to hook up with a puck bunny or two, and I wasn’t sure that I liked him for awhile. That was definitely NOT an issue later on. Two, this isn’t as much of a standalone as it thinks it is. I’ve read pretty much everything she’s written in the last couple of years, but this connects to a series from 2018-2019, and my memory of that is foggy. I felt like maybe I missed the start of Tyler and Muffy’s love story, and if you’re not at least vaguely familiar with the characters from her older series, then you might get overwhelmed at times. Once I settled into the story a bit, that was no longer a problem.

    So how does this still get 5 stars from me? Because the rest of the book was that good.

    I absolutely LOVED Tyler and Muffy together after around the 30% mark, and then it was just a fantastic read from then on. Tyler is positively SWOONY, and I loved the way he lifts Muffy up. There are some great moments of building up Muffy’s self-esteem, connecting on a deeper level, and realizing that you need to love yourself before you’ll be ready to accept love from someone else. That’s what makes this such a great read. Yes, the comedy is plentiful and I laughed frequently, but it’s those heart-melting moments that sealed the deal for me. This is also pretty steamy later on, with lots of sexual tension and so much chemistry. I’m ready to dive back into the series now, and look forward to what looks to be happening next. I received an early copy (then purchased it for my collection), and am voluntarily leaving a review of this very quirky comedy.

    Muffy is a little different than most girls Tyler has met. First time he met her, she was chewing out is goal tender and her cousin’s boyfriend in nerd talk. They slowly became friends. But one night they were at the secret club (bunny bar), then they ghosted each other. But Tyler’s life has been fudged since then. No girl can get him excited, it’s been 8 months. The guys on the team have traced the steps back to Muffy. When Muffy shows up at Kami’s asking for a fake date to an event in her old college town, Tyler volunteers. Muffy will do anything to not face him again, but even more to not show up at her best friends fathers funeral without support. But when they show up, Tyler faints in the funeral home, his family is notified and shows up to support him and Muffy whom they just met.
    Muffy must come clean to Tyler as to why she dropped out of college, why she ghosted him, Tyler needs to face the fact that his body is only responds to her and he only wants to make her happy, even if it means moving her into his flat, his room and now his girlfriend. But even more he wants to right a wrong and make sure Muffy knows she is number one in his life and the rest can fudge off.

    I Pucking Love You is the fifth book in the Cooper Valley Thrusters Series. This book revolves around Tyler Jaeger and Muffy Periwinkle. I have been hoping for this book since we got a glimpse of these two in Nick and Kami’s book.

    I Pucking Love You starts off with Tyler having lost his mojo and not knowing why but suspecting the hook up with Muffy a few months ago to be the reason. Muffy is in need of a companion to a funeral in the town she went to college and Tyler desperate to find out what’s going on with himself weasels his way into going along, not really knowing what he is getting himself into.

    Muffy is a matchmaker and her business is just starting to go in the right direction. She will go through any loops it takes to ensure her clients get nothing but the best. She has such a big heart and knows the people she loves and cares about deserve nothing but the best in life. The only downfall is that the people she loves and cares about knows she deserves the same kind of happiness she wants everyone else to have. But, with toxic parents she doesn’t think she is worthy of love or good enough physically for it. Tyler is anti-commitment but can’t help himself from falling for the ditzy silly and big hearted Muffy. However, he is going to make her see how great she is no matter how long it takes.

    This book is so adorable. It will make you smile from start to finish and laugh out loud in the most inconvenient of times though out the day. No lie I totally started giggling at work. It is such a great add into this series and will make all the girls who are not perfect with some insecurities feel so connected to a character. Tyler has quickly made his way to the top of the list for best characters by Pippa.

    Another heartwarming and hilarious read by Pippa Grant. Muffy always seemed a bit kooky in the past but in this book, I really came to see her and love her for her quirkyness and vulnerability and how much she gives to her friends. Tyler is awesome and I loved how much he appreciate and adored Muffy supporting her and building her up. Tyler’s family is great and so funny. Really enjoyed seeing Daisy and West and all the other characters from previous books even with guest drop ins like Eloise.

    Fantastic read. Don’t miss it but read all the other Pippa Grant books first as knowing all the layers and characters makes the book 5 Stars.

    If you're reading this book, make sure you don't have anything to drink handy. I cannot tell you the number of keyboards I have ruined by reading and drinking where Pippa Grant is involved. Also, it might make you crave fish & chips, or maybe that was just me?

    This is the book I've been waiting for since I saw Tyler "Grumpypants" Jaeger and Muffy Periwinkle interact in Charming as Puck. THIS BOOK WAS SOOOOOOO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!

    I laughed, there was a moment I actually cried (usually it was from laughing so the heartfelt one totally counts), and Tyler Jaeger made me (and Muffy) swoon with how amazing he is. But the best part of this story is seeing Muffy, the woman who is sooooo relatable because she's klutzy and an accident waiting to happen with a heart of gold learned how to love herself and how to let love in. Just flipping beautiful!

    If I could give this more than 5 stars, I totally would! One-click this baby today, you won't regret it!

    Oh god. I just love Pippa's books. I've read this twice and it only came out yesterday!
    Muffy is a warrior, with a lifetime of dysfunction from her parents, her mission in life is to help others feel like they fit in.
    Tyler - well I was a bit put out with him at the start, but the protective streak that came shining through for Muffy was 🔥.
    This book is a testament to how even the most 'unusual' person can succeed with the right support. Plus it's bloody hilarious! Loved the cameos from Ares, the Jaggers and Eloise. The ending with Conner has me chomping at the bit for the next book.
