C is for Comfort: An age-gap M/M romance (The Alphabet of Desire Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 274 ratings

A single dad, a doctor, and a one-night-stand. Is there room in their lives and hearts for one another?

Corey
Stress is my middle name. I'm a single dad and a newly qualified teacher, so it’s hard to find time for myself. What I didn't expect from an adult party is a man who allows me to relax fully. What starts as a hook-up becomes so much more, but is a ready made family a step too far for Spence?

Spence
Working crazy shifts at the hospital, I don't have much time for romance. Meeting Corey, the beautiful boy who's happy to call me Daddy, changes everything. Only it’s not just his heart I have to win over but his five-year-old daughter's too. How hard can it be?

C is for Comfort the story of two men learning that life is about more than work and that cuddling can fix everything. It's the third of three steamy, low angst novels, which follow each of the ABC triplets as they find love. You can read Archie and Blake's stories in A is for Aftercare and B is for Beg.

When Colette first started talking about this series I was fascinated. A: because the covers are GORGEOUS. B.) each book follows a triplet, and C). Light bdsm with Daddy kink. All three books and boys have their own journey and it’s neat to read the second and third seeing that all three of their journeys follow the same timeline. It’s low angst and just all around sweet. I especially loved this third one because of the addition of Lexi. I really really enjoyed this series and think Colette knocked it out of the park to write and release them all the way she did. I’m sad to say goodbye.

The ABC triplets of Archie, Blake and Corey stole my heart! I loved each unique personality and the different dynamic of each relationship each identical triplet brother shared with their respective partners as well as each individual journey to love! Our series ends with the wedding of Corey, the practical triplet and his Daddy Spence. They managed to have the most sensual of love scenes with naughtiness at its fringes. I enjoyed the development of 5 year old Lexi’s relationship with Spence as she learned to acclimate to sharing her Dad with someone outside of her immediate family circle. I enjoyed seeing Corey learn to destress and stand up for himself under Spence’s care and guidance. I truly enjoyed this series and I’m currently enjoying a mini binge fest of Colette Davison’s romances!

In the final installment of this series, we get Corey’s perspective. In Archie’s and Blake’s books, we see Corey struggling to be a good single father, a good brother, and a good teacher. Overwhelmed by grading as a new teacher, he feels pulled away from spending time with his adorable daughter Lexi and sorely needs time to relax. His brothers convince him to attend a kink party, where he spends the night with Spence. Corey’s shocked to see Spence again as Lexi’s daughter when she breaks her arm. The men take this as a sign to regularly hookup, but Corey’s certain his ready-made family is too much of a commitment for the busy doctor. Still, Corey finds he needs a permanent Daddy, and Spence might actually be willing to fill the role.
I love this book and think it’s my favorite of the series. It can be read as a standalone, but one of my favorite things about this series is that they all happen on the same timeline. It was really satisfying to finally hear Corey’s perspective after getting his brothers’ sides of things.

C is for Comfort is the perfect ending! The daddy gets his own Daddy in the best progression yet! The life that Corey leads in the beginning of the story (single father, precocious child, hardworking father want/needing a life) -- yeah been there and done that- totally realistic portrayal of the difficulties of single parenthood and living the BDSM life. The calming yet sexy Spence is exactly what Corey desires and the slow burn of their romance kinda sneaks up on you. A definite improvement over the first story (Sorry Archie and Hamish!).

This one is fantastic!! This is a very sweet & hott. You will love these characters. This story is about Spence the daddy doctor & Corey who is a boy who is a father to a beautiful little girl named Lexi. Spence & Corey meet at kink party. They have a fantastic night together. They meet again due to fate. It’s so well done. I really enjoyed it!! Now I have to read the first two stories to this series. I really love these Characters!! The humor is so on point as well!

Corey and Spence gets together at a kink party and swore that it was only one night together since they work life is crazy and the day after they wished they had gotten the others phone number until Corey daughter fell and broke her arm when they meet again

So after reading all 3 books I can say all these relationships were rushed. They all happened simultaneously with hearts in eyes after less than a month.
I do like that Lexi did not immediately like Spencer. And the writing was solid. Only a few mistakes.
Overall it was kinda a so/so read.

Last one in series absolutely Loved it... This one about Corey & Spence who met at Hamish's party they both thought it was just a one off but the chemistry between them is too strong, Corey being a single dad and struggling what with his stressful job as a teacher and putting himself under pressure to be perfect it's making him sad lonely, in need of help hiding it from his brothers and with both of them moving out to be with there doms he's not sure he can cope alone. Spence being a doctor knows all about pressure and stress and he's the perfect Daddy dom for Corey he helps him to relax and let go and let daddy look after him he's so patient, caring and loving the chemistry between them is so hot & sexy they are amazing together and the patience, care Spence takes with Lexi Corey's daughter is so beautiful & Emotional. What a way to end a series brilliant Recommend so much 💖💖

Colette Davison writes that her inspiration for these three books was a set of three pre made book covers of the same model in three different poses. Out of that came this series of three novels each one about a different identical triplet. Too bad there weren’t more photos. Seriously though I really enjoyed reading these low angst, high heat books with a definite emphasis on kink in all the relationships. They were exactly what I felt like reading right now. She has said that she wrote them all at the same time because all of them encompass the same time period. It definitely comes across in the stories as they are so well intertwined but must have been difficult. To me this shows her growth as a writer that she not only did that but did it really well. I highly recommend this lovely series.

This was a wonderful end to the series. It has been beautiful following the same events through the eyes of the triplets, and their men. They are all so individual, and genuine people.
A delight to read and lovely to see Corey and Lexi get their happy ending.

I loved this series. Slightly fluffy and absolutely no angst but still held my attention. I loved all the characters and wish they were septuplets instead of triplets so we could have more books in the series.
