Pure action! This series has been quite the ride. I LOVED how this story was a tie of three soul mates together. So beautifully written. I can't wait to read the finale!!

Loved getting more of the story and a new soul mate.
I don't know if I've read that it was a trouple this thim, but if I did I had forgotten it so it was a surprise. It's not my favourite thing in normal books, but I like it better between mates because then it's ment to be and there's no chance of anyone left behind.

Calder and Lucien are the water and fire weaver and they have been getting on each others nerve lately. There's a tension between them that they can't resolve until they meet Gio.
And just when they have found each other they have to go to battle again to rescue the last weaver.
Can't wait to see all the weavers together.

It was a bit of a wait, but OMG, so worth waiting for! If Lucian and Calder can fight with each other they will, or is it attraction? Then Gio with his huge family shows up and things really start heating up. In the meantime, the pestilence are active as ever and it's getting more and more difficult for the guys to keep their magic secret. I think this is my favorite story of the series. So much happens, many unexpected twists and turns (girl scouts, SWAT teams, ...) and so much fun. Highly recommended.

I'm not a huge MMM reader, but I'm enjoying this series so much that I knew I just had to read this addition.

Tangled Warrior is an opposite attract book. How opposite you ask?? Water & Fire opposite!!
The Water Weaver, Calder, is a pretty laid back guy. The only thing that ruffles his feathers is the Fire Weaver. And still he can't understand his attraction to this man.
The Fire Weaver, Lucien, is very much his power. He is quick tempered, and can't seem to get along with his brother, the Water Weaver. Like Calder, he can't understand his attraction to this man.

Enter Gio. He is fun. He is sassy. He knows what he wants.. and he wants both Calder and Lucien... in his bed!! Gio calms the storm raging between the two Weavers.
What do you get when you mix water and fire?? STEAM!! and boy oh boy, was this book steamy!!
What starts out as smexy times between the sheets, quickly explodes and develops into a threeway relationship, all the while trying to save the world from pestilence, keeping their mates safe and recuing the last Weaver.

There's one book left in this series, it's Hale's book, the Air Weaver, and I can't wait to get my hands on him

Wow! I have waited for this book forever . Calder. Gio, and Lucien are so hot they are Steamin (haha I couldn't resist). The chemistry is out of this world, the character building is fantastic. I feel like I really got to know Calder, Lucien and Gio and I can't wait for the next book. I love catching up with the other Weavers Baer and Wiley are still my favorite but this throuple was both sexy and sweet.

I love this whole series, but this is by far the weakest story, and it's just so disappointing. My issue is the lack of character development. Gio - eh, he could literally be any guy. His one segment where he's enchanted by old furniture - cute, super cute - but then he is dull as a board. And Calder? What have they done to poor Calder?? He a completely different person from book three. I get the whole antagonism with Lucien cuz it's a plot point, yada yada, but literally in book three it has them laughing and playing together in the practice field. Calder's entire demeanor too has now changed in book four (not just his interactions with Lucien, but his actual demeanor.) And they mentioned more than once Calder not wanting to feel like a tag along little brother - but that is exactly how they wrote him. Most throuples you read about, well, they tend to have three distinct type of characters, and they shoved Calder into that third niche where he's more of a caricature than an actual person. And I hate it!!! I can gripe about Lucien too, but I'll just stop now. I liked all the other characters in the book more than these three guys.

Well, it's a three some for the Weavers. Lucien and Calder are both attracted and repelled by each other.
Enter the sexy Gio, and all the anger/animosity disappears between Lucien and Calder. Gio is the third that makes them whole.
I liked how the throuple was written, and I feel like the romance was well balanced.

This isn't the end, there will be one more book. I can't wait to read the exciting conclusion that I've been following since book one.

I have been wanting Lucien’s story since the guys first found him surrounded by pestilents. He and Calder fight constantly now because they are trying to ignore the attraction between them. It just takes the perfect person to bring them together: Gio, the loud and extra young man who just happens to be the antiques restorer hired to look at the furniture in the attic. I have loved this whole series and can’t wait to see how the final weaver fits into this crazy found family.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like fire and water

As the second last book in the series this one had a surprising amount of time to just focus on the relationship at hand, which was good because this triad needed time to work things out.

Calder and Lucien are both Weavers and yet they are attracted to each other. As it seems clear from the other Weavers that their soul mates must be non-Weavers, this attraction has turned into anger and resentment. They are constantly fighting and it affects the whole group. But when they meet another man, Gio, who wants to be with them both it opens up that relationship they have been squashing down and suddenly things make much more sense- but only all together.

Gio is amusing in that his bigger issue isn't being with guys who turn out to have powers, but being in a thruple. He has a past there that makes it hard to trust such a relationship and he finds the idea of putting his heart out there again terrifying. It is a lot to work through, especially when there is the while background bit of the fate of the world. But Lucien and Calder really give Gio time, never pushing or forcing, always making it an opening that is his decision.

Lucien has his own baggage with relationships that he has to come clean about. Though soul mates have been presented as a possibility his own experience with love soured him to it and makes him just as hesitant to jump in.

Calder is sweet and hopeful, but doesn't see himself as really worthy of any of it. From his powers, to fitting in with the Weavers, and then to being a good attractive partner, Calder really puts himself down. He is loyal and loving and sure to boost those around him up but he really needs the support of both men to see more of his own self.

It was both complicated and not at all to bring these three together. They built something that worked for all of them, even through their fears and missteps. It was a very sweet story.

Surprisingly there isn't too much involvement of the pestilents in this book as there is a plot that forces the Weavers to act rather than wait. However, the end of this book heralds the last weaver and therefore the end of the series. Each book so far has been amazing and the end of these events promises to be a truly monumental story!

Absolutely loved this book and the characters. So much going on in this book. Romance, steam, fluff, action and working out a relationship with three people. So good I couldn't put it down. Definitely going to get the next.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lucien, Calder and Gio

I loved being flung right back into the action against the pestilents at the start of Tangled Warriors - it made it feel like there'd been no time between the previous book and this one. I think the MCs work well as a throuple (lots of heart, lots of heat) and, as an aside, Gio's family are great, too.

I like the way in which the band of brothers find the Air Weaver it was great to see the rest of the Weavers and their mates working together against John and the pestilents. I would have actually liked a bit more of this type of action balanced with the romance angle. Given where we are in the overall story arc (only the Air Weaver's book is left), I'd expect the tension to be really ramped up but I didn't really feel that. Tangled Warriors is still a very good read and I'll be here to see how it all ends...bring in the next book!

Crying because it was so good and crying because it's nearly the end. I really can't quite believe we are almost at the end. This series is just so brilliant and deserves that you engage and read it. If I could give Kenmore stars I would have highly recommend..
