About the Author
Tee's alter ego, Toni Vallan, writes Psychological Horror and Suspense.
Writing since 2010, Tee currently lives in Middle Earth. She is a proudly #AfricanAuthor, and in South Africa will her roots remain. Her heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour.
She loves the beach, and her readers, is an artist, a nerd, and a geek, hates crowds, and sings like Adele (only in her head). If she could grow up to be Wonder Woman she'd die happy.
Most days, Tee can be found typing away at her laptop, creating more words.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2017The title instantly intrigued me! I couldn't wait to read Dark Sight. I have read a book or 2 from T.G. Ayer and this one is just as amazing! Very well written and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2018I enjoyed this book, for the most part.
What if Christianity never happened? That is the alternate history of this book, I believe. The places have similar, but slightly different names. The technology is somewhat similar. The belief system is based on Greek gods in the main areas of the book, and touches on other belief systems in other parts of the world, but no Christianity. Michelangelo painted, but not the Sistine Chapel.
The story is about preventing the end of humanity, with a new "Oracle" who just came into their powers. It's an interesting and entertaining read.
It would be 5 stars, if there had been better copy editing. The errors made it hare to read and follow the story at times, and dropped me out of the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2017Dark Sight gets TG Ayer's new series "Daughter of Pythia" series off to a good start. Set in an alternate reality where America is known as New Germania and society is based on the Roman Empire, governments around the world hire or consult with oracles to help with solving crimes, averting disasters, strategizing and other such matters. The most powerful oracle is known as the Pythia and is a descendant of Apollo's oracle at Delphi. When she begins to recieve visions of an apocalyptic-scale disaster in the near future, she must work with officials from the New Germanian government to piece together the clues her visions present in an attempt to thwart the cataclysm.
I really enjoyed this book, though I did have a couple of problems with it. The characters were complex and relatable and the plot avoids most of the more predictable traps often found in urban fantasy and romance novels. The one exception is that that the potential romance between the leads hits a roadblock because one decides to put a brake on things out of fear that the other will reject them if certain information becomes known rather than discussing it. This particular trope is the one that annoys me the most because talking about it would show trust and a willingness to be vulnerable, both of which can actually make a relationship stronger. Plus, if the other person is going to reject them upon learning the information, wouldn't it be wiser and less painful to find out early on? My other issue with the book is a sub-plot that felt to me kind of like filler. The impending disaster presents numerous opportunities for dramatic tension without needing to add a secondary villain, especially since that section didn't really provide much additional information that couldn't have been revealed while resolving the main plot. Fortunately, this detour isn't terribly long so the story gets back on track quickly.
Despite these issues, I found myself drawn into the book's world and the characters' lives enough that I was dissapointed to find I'd have to wait a bit before the next volume is released. There's considerable promise in this book, and having read her Valkyrie series (which begins with Dead Radiance) I know how fresh Ms Ayer's writing can be.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2017"Allegra's Dark Sight is the key to saving the world—but only if they can find the right lock. The clock is ticking. Three months to figure it out, or everyone dies."
If that bit from the kindle blurb even remotely appeals to you then I can pretty much guarantee that you'll love this book. It certainly appealed to me and wow did I ever enjoy the book. I loved the world that TG Ayer created for this book and the Daughter of Pythia series that it is starting. From the kindle blurb I had anticipated a world set in the future where Germany had evolved into a "New Germanic". I've no idea how that would have worked but it's not even remotely what the author actually did. Nope, her New Germania is leagues better. It's an alternate country in what we call North America (there ain't no USA here) is a society that is modeled on the Roman Empire. It's also an alternate reality where some people have actual oracular powers and are hired by governments to predict future events do that they can avoid disasters, solve crimes, etc. The heroine in the story is a "Pythia", the most powerful oracle, descended from Apollo's Oracle of Delphi in Classic Greece. A pretty good gig - except for that whole three months until the end of the world thing. Ayer runs with this to perfection, with a fantastic thrilling plot and characters who are ideally suited for it. It's a perfect start for this series which I am now really looking forward to reading.
You just know I'm going to recommend this one highly, don't ya? You're absolutely right.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2017I received an ARC copy for an honest review. This book was well written. T. G. Ayer shows a knowledge of the language using words I had to look up in order to understand what was intended. Allegra, the Oracle with the dark site, had prophetic visions of things that may happen not necessarily things that would happen. In her visions she sees the destruction of the world by a terrible plague but, in hopes of trying to avert this terrible disaster, she and her enterage travel to various places to try to change the outcome. Many dangers are averted but people still die in an attempt to help the Oracle. I was sort of frustrated with her group's lackadaisical protections at first considering how important the Oracle was to the world. As the story progresses, however, her protectors learn from their mistakes and take greater precautions. But some of their troubles seem unavoidable and can't be anticipated which is what makes this story interesting and keeps readers on edge with all the twists and turns. Overall this story makes for a great read and well worth it. I am greatly looking forward to reading the next installment in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paranormal Thriller, lots of action and adventure
This atmospheric story is set in an alternate modern world in which Christianity and Islam never happened. The Gods are still the old Greek/Roman pantheon, though few truly believe in them.
Against this background, Allegra races against time, helped by the likeable agent Max (Maximus), in order to save mankind from dying out. A page-turner with incessant and partly quite gory action. The set-up and slowly developing relationships allow for plenty more adventure in subsequent volumes. No sex (yet), but this story is not for the faint of heart.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Enjoyable Read
T.G. Ayer is one of those authors that once you read a book you are so smitten for her writing style that you can't not read the rest of her books.
I received an Arc copy and voluntarily chose to leave a review because I enjoyed it and feel others will also.
In Dark Sight we get to meet Allegra, who has a vision of the destruction of the world at the hands of a pandemic. She continues to learn about her powers/gifts through out the story as she and Max try to stop the plague but will they succeed in time?
It's different from what I have read but it kind of pulls you into the story, I love a good captivating read.
I was pleasantly surprised and look for to the next book.
