I understand that sleeping with the boss is a bad idea.

To be fair, I was already sleeping with my co-worker.

And yeah, we all live in the same bunkhouse on a ranch in the middle of the Central Texas Hill Country, but we’re professionals. We can handle it.

Besides, I’ve made it pretty darn clear that I am in no way a relationship guy.

Am I trying to hide a mountain of pain after losing the unrequited love of my life? Sure…but we don’t say that part out loud.

I’m just trying to figure out who gave Joaquin and Colt permission to go off and start something on their own. I thought our boss / co-worker arrangement was pretty good, especially after that impromptu three-way.

But now they’re excluding me. It almost feels like they’re trying to make me jealous. Not that I’m jealous, or whatever.

Besides, I could never love someone as much as I loved Renée. There isn’t a single person in the world who could take her place.

    Screaming, crying, throwing up. this book made me cry and laugh and cry again.
    I knew Warwick was a loveable himbo slut but I didn't expect his backstory with Renee to stab me in the heart two pages in.

    This story was incredible. I love that throughout this series Renee has felt like a character you get to know with the rest of the Rebel Sky crew. I have so much love for her and all she saw in her guys.
    Colt is my favorite of the trio, I am such a sucker for a sweet loveable man with a belly. I love that the guys never for one second let him forget how much they enjoyed Colt and every inch of his body. Joquin and Colt conspiring to make Wick jealous had me laughing, I had felt SO heartbroken for Colt when he was jealous and pining for Wick. Seeing Wick jealous and pissy at seeing the guys without him had me laughing, but only because I knew it was only a matter of time before he took his head out of his butt and got out of his own way.
    I think what I love so much about this series is all the books are so much more than the romantic relationship. They are all healing from things, looking for their place in the the world and finding joy and acceptance. The family they make is just incredible. At the end of this, seeing Sam and Tripp and their kids..i was BAWLING. This series has cemented itself as one of my all time favorites.

    Really enjoyed reading about the ranch and family (blood related or not, they're definitely a family) from the beginning to present through Warwick's eyes and his perspective. The story is also well balanced with perspective from each of the three MCs. Plot was well paced and each character's personality rang clear and distinctive.

    The topics of emotion, grief and hurt are well expressed in a realistic way. Loved how the author touches on the complicated emotion of grief and loss, hurt and love. Life is messy and complicated but that never means there is no hope for something better.

    I was Fully immersed in the story the moment I began to read. Thanks to Ms Fox, I haven't slept! That's how absorbed I was into the story and plot.

    If you haven't read the initial books in the series, you could technically be okay with reading this as a stand alone (summaries are available within the story to give perspective), but the robustness of the other characters will not be as deep especially in significant scenes. Like any family home, there is a richness of history at play, and so much warmth & love. I was so sad to leave and eagerly look forward to reading about the spin-off characters.

    Perpetual bachelor Warwick and his recurring hook-up Colt have a new foreman at Rebel Sky Ranch, and he’s none other than Joaquin, another of Warwick’s regular hook-ups. Colt and Joaquin have both caught feelings for Warwick and decide to date each other to tempt relationship-averse Warwick to be with them.

    Warwick has a lot to work through emotionally before he can open himself up to the possibility of a poly relationship with Colt and Joaquin. I loved seeing Colt and Joaquin date and fall for each other as they wait for Warwick to have his emotional breakthrough. They were so sweet together! Colt is a bigger guy, and it was wonderful to see how much Warwick and Joaquin enjoyed his body. I appreciated how often Kelly reminded us how big his ass is! It was very affirming and body-positive.

    I love that Kelly has created this whole series about a group of men that all loved the same woman in different ways. Her son, her best friend, her brother, her husband, and the ex-lover and friend that had quietly loved her for twenty years. Loving Renee and mourning her passing has linked all of these men, and the men who love them, into a family. They have worked so hard to make her dream for Rebel Sky Ranch a reality and her presence seems to be felt in every corner of the ranch property.

    This series has been such an emotional journey! As much as I loved her Wrecked Guardians series, I think this is my absolute favorite Kelly Fox series - at least so far! Each of these books has been a roller coaster ride of humor, grief, swoony romance, and a lot of steamy times and love. I’ve given all the books in the series five stars and I’m looking forward to comfort-rereading this whole series in the future.

    There's just something about Kelly's stories that hook you and have you need to devour them all. Like your favourite tv show, each book (episode) makes you laugh, cry, fight and long for the happy ending. I feel like Wick's story was hard won and while I'd say he is stubborn I felt like he needed all the time, over all the novels (season) to heal, grow and come to terms with himself, his grief and what he really does deserve. Joaquin and Colt are the other pieces of the puzzle and together these three are fire. But they are also full of compassion, care and healing. Each has their own needs and they all balance and complement each other perfectly.
    While I'm sad the series is over, I'm still hooked on the hints here and there of the next spin off as well as past cameos.

    This is the book in which Wick finally gets his happy ending, even though Colt and Joaquin have to collude to convince him they’re all in, and he just has to open himself up to it.
    And, in which ALL of the spicy sex is had, in the tack room and other spots around the ranch.

    I loved it, clearly. So fun, and hopeful, and joyful, once you get past the tears that first chapter induces. What a lovely wrap up of the Rebel Sky Ranch series.

    Much of the falling for each other individually happens off page through other character’s observation in previous installments of the series, and I appreciated that, because it makes space to show Colt and Joaquin falling for each other, for Wick’s realizations, and for showing all three falling in love together. It’s portrayed here so beautifully. The depth of feeling that Kelly evokes with her writing, along with the wit and charm with which she tells a story, makes reading this absolutely worth your time.

    FYI: this is the fourth in a series, so if you’re new to Kelly’s books, I highly encourage you to read the others in this series first. The background knowledge will make the story even more enjoyable, and you’ll understand who-all has slept with whom😉

    I’m not a huge fan of MMM but this one I couldn’t Denise as it ends this awesome series although I’m still wanting more Anders. ;) I really hated how Wick was sleeping with Joaquin right after he slept with Colt and how hurt Colt was, I think Joaquin could of held back, not to sure I liked all the guys but like I said a troupe is tricky, but great plot I’m glad y’all happy at Rebel Sky.
