A happy ever after is not in the cards for me. But a short fling aboard a ship crossing the Atlantic might just be exactly what I need.

When my friends suggest I take a much-needed vacation on their Valentine’s Inc. hosted cruise, I leap at the chance. I don’t have a lot of expectations for this matchmaking singles cruise—I’m certainly not looking for a future Mr. Chase Kelton.

What I’m not prepared for is walking into my assigned suite to find a man passed out on the first day. I recognized the shy barista immediately. He’s been serving me my morning fix for a year and driving me crazy with the hard shell he keeps locked around him. I want to break it. I know there’s an entirely different man beneath it that I’m itching to reveal.

Reign is the proverbial fish out of water, and when I learn the real reason he’s on this cruise, I see an opportunity I can’t resist. He needs a companion to show him the ropes—I can do that and so much more.

An introverted barista with a crush, a wealthy executive afraid to fall in love, and a twist on fake boyfriends. Shipping Orders is a full length, standalone novel in the Valentine’s Inc. multi-author series.

I was really enjoying this until the couple got together. Then it was OTT relatives (what the hell was up with his uncle?) and mediocre sex (IMO). I understood Chase’s hesitancy with Reign, but I wish I’d known why long before we were finally told. I might have been willing to forgive him, but i didn’t care by the time it was explained.

I still like the premise behind these books, so I’ll read the next book by the next author.

Perfect!!

I love this series and Ashe Winters does such a great job of blending in with the theme while still giving us the type or read we expect. Lovable characters with realistic issues in a setting we would love to be in. I highly recommend both the book and the series but I would read the first season first.

Not a bad book, but for much of it I just didn't really care about either of the MCs or their difficulties in giving each other a true shot at a relationship. Once I did actually have a little investment in the relationship, there were two rather horrible uses of "who's" instead of "whose," followed by locking the "break" on a cart and talking about the "roll" each plays in bed -- that last one almost had me DNF at 94% through the story. Just because a word exists, it isn't necessarily the correct word to use. Although part of me is interested in the previous story by this author in this shared universe, I think I'll skip that one, for the sake of my sanity.
Addendum: I actually read the previous book already, and said that I wasn't enthralled with the romance. Hunh. At least I'm consistent.

I really loved this story. Something about Reign just got to me and I just adore him. He's always putting himself down but doesn't realize how strong he really is. He goes beyond his comfort zones to help people or ask for what he wants, even when it makes him blush to high hell. He's just a sweetheart and made this book for me.
Reign's been pushing after Chase for a while now. Chase has been lusting after Reign as well, but because of that wall Reign out up, Chase had a hard time showing it. So he flirted trying to get a ride out of Reign. It worked. But now these two are going on a cruise and they have no idea they are going to be on the same cruise. Through close friends and family of theirs, they were roped into it. But Reign's fears of water and motion sickness started this cruise on the wrong foot and his first glimpse of his cabin mate was covered in vomit and in a fetal position on the floor. Could life get any worse? But Chase just took it in stride and took care of Reign. And they started talking, becoming friends. Chase was determined to see Reign smile this trip and did all he could to be his guide. But things changed after one drunken night. Their chemistry had been smoldering this whole time, but when Reign asked for a kiss the next morning and said in explicit detail of what he wanted Chase to do to him, things changed. They made rules. It was only for the duration of the cruise, but things changed even more. Love blossomed. But can Chase get over the fear of his family and can Reign get past Chase's mother trying to run him off?
I get tickled when Chase calls Reign puppy in this book? They aren't in to puppy play. It's just an expression Reign gets that makes Chase think of a puppy and it's so damn endearing. I just love it. I love, too, how these two have circled each other. But shy Reign was the one who got things started. They're good for each other. Chase brings Reing out of his shell and Reign gives Chase someone who loves him for him and not his money or name. They're good for each other in other ways too. They're very compatible with each other in spite of what would be different social standings. And they don't care. Chase wanted to run, not because Reign scared him, but because of how his family is and he wants to protect him. And after meeting the mother, I can't blame him. She needs to be smacked and hard.
But it's a good love story. A slow burn. With a friendship and intimacy that makes it even better.

3.5 sexy stars for chemistry and a sweet ending.

An unrelenting crush and a subtle fascination collide when a coincidence brings the awkwardly insecure Reign on a collision course with the commanding Adonis, Chase. Neither is on the cruise to find love, but love is never predictable and when their fling becomes more, it's fear that might keep them from keeping what they've found.

It was hard not to be a little in love with all of Reign's insecurities and I wasn't surprised when Chase crashed hard for him. But while I eventually found those quirks endearing, I was a bit frustrated with how much Reign held himself back. Sexually he ended up giving Chase everything that was inside him, but in the quieter moments I was hoping for him to be a bit more verbal and relaxed. That just wasn't him I suppose, and when we ended the story I was pretty shocked that the glimpse we got of him through Chase's epilogue showed us a much more solid presence. I wished we had gotten to see more of that than just their bedroom chemistry.

I was a bit more disappointed with Chase though. There was something about him that rubbed me the wrong way. It could have been the many, many mentions of how he just couldn't keep Reign, the slightly dismissive way he thought about his interactions with Reign versus Reign's coworker, or maybe just an overall feeling of disconnect between me and his character. I just wasn't as drawn to him.

This story focused a ton on their sexual compatibility and while we saw some more tender and "foundation-shaking" realizations during those encounters, there was a bit of depth that I was missing. Even the reveals of pasts and fears didn't feel as momentous as I thought they would. Keeping the angst relatively low and forgoing a huge separation/reunion bit pleased me to no end however, and it made the ending much more satisfying for me. I would really have enjoyed a bit more of a balance between the bedroom and character evolution, but aside from that I enjoyed this story.

Reign has a huge crush on Chase, the hot guy who comes every morning to buy coffee from the bar he works at,but nerves make him clam up once he sees the heat inducing customer. Chase's reason to go to that bar isn't their coffee, it's the barista with the revealing, beautiful green eyes and he would do anything to bring a smile on that stern looking face. Unbeknown to them, they're both going on the same two weeks long singles cruise...

...and they could set the ship on fire with how scorching things get between them. Yeah, they make a deal,to be together only for the two weeks of the cruise, but we'll just see about that, won't we? Because they're obviously what they've been looking for all their lives in a partner. I'm not talking only about how wonderfully their kinky needs mesh together, but also the intensity of the feelings they have for one another. Surely that's worth fighting whatever hang-ups they might have ,right?

Shipping Orders by Ashe Winters is hot, hot, hot! Chase and Reign make their own blazing fire in the middle of the ocean and it reached me through the pages. The story is also funny, sweet and emotional and I loved it!

This was so lovely!!! Reign is afraid of water but convinced by his uncle to go on a singles cruise. Chase goes on the cruise because it is run by his best friends. Reign has had a crush on Chase for a while because Chase got coffee at the shop Reign worked on. Chase has had a crush on Reign as well, but family issues make Chase not want to get involved with anyone. While getting to know each other on the cruise, Chase sees Reign's lack of confidence and works hard to make him see he is wonderful just he way he is. I liked how this started as a "fling" only to happen on the ship, but there wasn't a lot of drama or angst surrounding them realizing they should really be together after. I loved the sweetness. The heat level was off the charts at times as well, and it was delightful.

First of all, I have to say that I love the character name of Reign. It's just very unique, and one I didn't forget.

I love Chase and Regin together. Reign thinks that he is fairly weak, but I tend to think that he is actually pretty strong. He stood up to Chase and told Chase exactly what he wanted, even if he thought that Chase wouldn't be interested.

I was glad to see Chase's realizations when they came because it was just about darn time.

The premise of Chase and Reign's free vacations pushing them together was cute and this was an enjoyable read. I liked the D/s aspect and how lovingly Chase cared for Reign at all times. But for my liking, it was on the skimpy side as far as backstories and depth of their connection were concerned. I thought it was a light, sweet book with no angst and some fun sexy times.

Chase and Reign seem like an unlikely pair but their chemistry was off the charts.
They really fit well together. They had several obstacles to over come but love was the factor that kept them together.
I wouldn’t mind a follow up book on them in the future.

Started off well...dragged for about 80% of the book...rushed through the resolution of all the issues and angst in the last few pages and a short epilogue. 🤷‍♀️

I love buying and reading these types of books.
Boats, yachts, historical events and books about the sea are generally excellent. If there are sequels in your series, I would love to read them.

The beauties of owning the books of important authors cannot be discussed. I'm looking forward to your new books.

For friends who want to read this book, I leave the importance of reading a book here. I wish good luck to the sellers and customers...

Top 10 benefits of reading for all ages:

1. Reading Exercises the Brain

As we read, we need to remember the different characters and settings of a particular story. Even if you enjoy reading a book in one sitting, you need to remember the details during the time you devote to reading the book. Therefore, reading is an exercise for your brain that improves memory function.

2. Reading Is a (free) Form of Entertainment

Did you know that most of the popular TV series and movies are based on books? So why not indulge in the original form of entertainment by immersing yourself in reading? Most importantly, it's free with your Markham Public Library card.

3. Reading Improves Concentration and Focus

We all agree that there can be no reading without focus, and we need to concentrate on every page we read to fully understand the story. In a world where gadgets only speed up and shorten our attention span, we must constantly practice concentration and focus. Reading is one of the few activities that requires your undivided attention, so it improves your ability to concentrate.

4. Reading Improves Literacy

Have you ever read a book where you come across a word you don't know? Books have the power to improve your vocabulary by introducing you to new words. The more you read, the more your vocabulary will improve as well as your ability to communicate effectively. Also, reading improves writing skills by helping the reader understand and learn different writing styles.

5. Reading Improves Sleep

By creating a bedtime routine that includes reading, you can signal to your body that it's time to sleep. Now more than ever, we rely on increased screen time to get through the day. That's why you put your phone away and pick up a book and tell your brain it's time to calm down. Also, since reading helps you relieve stress, reading right before bed helps calm your mind and anxiety and improve your sleep quality.

6. Reading Increases General Knowledge

Books are always full of fun and interesting facts. Whether we read fiction or non-fiction, books have the ability to provide us with information we might not otherwise know. Reading various topics can make you a more knowledgeable person and therefore improve your speaking skills.

7. Reading Is Motivating

By reading books about heroes overcoming adversity, we are often encouraged to do the same. Whether it's a romance novel or a self-help book, the right book can motivate you to never give up and stay positive.

Juvenile

My whole review comes down to just one word: juvenile. Reign's thoughts, they way others seemed to view Reign & Chase's parental issues were juvenile to an annoying degree. When I read to Reign's thought that his Walmart bought apartment furnishings would likely "gross out" Chase, I wanted to start skimming through this because jfc, who gets grossed out by furniture? Unfortunately (for me) I couldn't stop reading it word for word even if it felt like it took me forever to finish it. I've read Ashe Winters & will read them again, but this one was a fail for me. The tone of it just annoyed me. It's really 1.5 stars for knowing the author can do better & liking the way they expanded on the cruise theme for this run of the Valentine's Inc series.

I felt like Reign was a caricature, there to have absurd things happen to him. Given his fear of water, why did Reign's loving uncle send him on a cruise? How did he feel that the ship left the dock and later flt the ship dip between waves, but didn't have trouble walking the corridors of the ship? Didn't the ship have a massive lost and found if our heroes took off their shirts at the dance and left their shirts behind. Wouldn't other people have taken off shirts at the same dance?

I kept reading because I wanted to see how Chase and Reign dealt with being back in New York and how Chase dealt with his family. I was no longer really interested in the characters by the end. And I started skipping them having sex because I no longer saw it as building the relationship.

I still like the concept of the singles cruise on a transatlantic voyage and already have purchased others in this series.

Such a great couple to read! Chase and Reign come from very different worlds and admire from afar in their day to day lives as Reign serves coffee to the auditor. However, their meeting up on the Valentine's Inc cruise seems like fate and a chance to explore the attraction between them.
Chase is very much an in charge guy, with his business and apparently his parents but Reign loves it and submits beautifully. This allows us several tender moments between the two as Reign fights anxiety and fear, as well as down right hot times not just confined to the bedroom! Reading the I'd relationship develop, even just over the course of the cruise to the UK and back to the US, didn't feel rushed and felt as those things were naturally evolving for both men. It was great reading Chase's struggles that allowed him to lean on Reign in a small switch of roles for a moment. It made him seem more real and relatable. Reign's inner strength fights through at moments and I was really cheering him on as he fought against his inner struggles.
There is a great group of supporting characters that provide some fun but also support when needed. Whilst a lot of the story takes place in the communal cabin, it didn't feel restrictive. Ashe has done a wonderful job in drawing the reader into the story and keeping the emotions engaged regarding the characters and the possibility of a HEA. There's even a little taster of kink involved with a d/s vibe and someone who enjoyed being tied up.
Another but in this second Valentine's Inc series and another recommendation from me to read. Fully enjoyed the story and I got really involved in the characters themselves.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Shipping Orders is the second book in the Valentine Inc. Cruises series and delivers on both the romance and hotness factors. As I haven't delved into too much kink yet, this book was perfect for me. Ashe Winters crafted a beautifully light Dom/sub relationship between Chase, a somewhat closed-off businessman afraid to love, and Reign, a sweet and shy barrister who wants someone to look after him. Reign has secretly crushed on Chase for over a year, making him his coffee every morning. Battling his own insecurities and fears, Reign is sure Chase doesn't see him that way, but when they get aboard the ship and discover they're suitemates, boy do things start to change. The moment Chase steps in to take care of Reign after he's suffered an awful blight of motion sickness and anxiety, there was no turning back for either of them.

Chase and Reign are absolutely perfect together and bring out the best in one another. Whilst they eventually can't ignore their attraction anymore and things heat up in the bedroom (and against the balcony door) ... the story is definitely one that evokes emotional turbulence. After Chase creates the rule that their fling must end when the cruise does, I wanted to sit them both down so they would see sense. It's so evident they both wish for more, this delicious angst making the ending all the more sweeter!

A cute and steamy romance, a hint of bondage and kinkiness, and a gorgeous HEA is all on offer in Chase and Reign's story. Highly recommend!

Love is everywhere!

Reign thinks he is boring. He thinks he has nothing to offer anyone, nothing exciting. He loves his job as a barista, he loves to work on his miniature car models, he is happy he keeps telling himself.

Chase comes from a long line of financial investors but instead of joining his family’s company, he opted to open his own financial/auditing company. Even though he is on his own, he can’t help how people or clients react to his family name. He has been trying to build a reputation and dependable company for ten years now and he thinks he is doing really well on his own.

Now if only he can coaxed a certain barista to give him a smile. He has been going to the same coffee shop for months not because of their coffee or scones, but rather because of a certain barista who can’t seem to give him a smile. He knows that Reign is attracted but somehow he has to work for that smile.

Joining the singles cruise was a first for Reign, if not for his Uncle who is writing an article for his magazine, he’d never think of joining one. Chase’s friends arrange for this cruise for him. Who’d ever think that these two will be on the same cruise and staying in the same set of suites that shares a common social room or lounge? Will they now get the chance to know each other?

A sweet story of a shy barista and his golden, very attractive coffee drinker Auditor and how they both overcome their issues about themselves and their families. You would love both characters, they are both endearing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like
‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd,
‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya,
‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or
'Liberty' from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey’s books)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

Reign is a young, single barista secretly pining after one of his customer's who comes in on a regular basis. Unbeknownst to him, that same customer is equally smitten. However, there never see's to be the chance to take it any further than shy looks and innocent attempts at flirting.

Then comes a cruise. What's the worst that can happen when Reign's uncle needs him to be his subject for his magazine article? It's a free trip, never mind that Reign get's seriously sea sick. And when he gets sick and runs into Chase well....those protective instincts that Chase has for his friends/lover's kicks in and he can't seem to find the time to leave Reign's side. What follows is a week, slow burn between two men who think if ll they have is this cruise, then they will make the most of it.

All in all, I enjoyed this book. I love the idea of this series and can't wait to see what other adventures are in store.

Nicely done, great couple!

I’m really enjoying these Valentine’s Inc cruise themed books. I like the concept of multiple authors writing their own stories based on a theme. I do hope that for some we see some secondary characters in each author’s future works as there have been a lot of interesting people in the ones I’ve read so far. Although there were one or maybe two I wanted to tell off in this one, but that just makes me love our MCs all the more.

I really enjoyed Chase & Reign. They are very different people that end up fitting together perfectly. They complement each other well and their chemistry is amazing. The steamier scenes are scorching hot! Chase lends Reign his strength and I liked seeing Reign show us more of himself as the story progressed, and Chase needed Reign to realize he needed to take a few certain steps too.

Overall a great story and well done. Enjoyed it a lot!

Shipping Orders is the second book in the Valentines Inc Cruise series and was written by Ashe Winters. It is a friends to lovers romance with light bondage and a hint of A Dominate and submissive relationship.

Chase Kelton is a wealthy, dominate, freelance corporate auditor who doesn’t want to be in a relationship because of his meddling family.
Reign is a sweet, shy and introverted barista who has has a secret desire to be tied up and dominated in the bedroom. They decide to start a cruise fling that neither one of them ever want to end.

What I liked the most out of this book is seeing Reign come out of his shell and standing up for himself with his uncle. I also really liked that it was Reign who went after Chase first. What I disliked about this book was that Chase’s nickname for Reign was puppy.

This was a really fun and cute read and I can’t wait to read what comes next.

I loved multiauthor series because you can enjoy the different point of view many authors have about a same topic. And if they are you favorite M/M authors? Just the cherry on top! In this case Ashe Winters wrote an really great love story inside the Valentine’s Inc universe, and guess what? If you are like me fan of the first season of this series (I like to think of this new stories like season 2), you’ll recognize some characters of book 8, like Levi and Mal, Lawrence and Erick and of course our MC in this book,Chase. His story and how he fell in love with Reign in a cruise is not only incredible romantic and cute, (and with a really soft dom/sub, daddy/boy kink) but left you wanting more. How about a following story in season 3? Just saying....
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion
