Trapped in the mountains by a massive snow storm is bad enough. It can’t possibly get any worse, can it? But oh, yes. Yes it can.

I'm comfortable with my calm, organized, and simple life. I enjoy my job as a date-for-hire with Valentine’s Inc. until the newest edition to the company throws my life into utter chaos.

Spencer is a hurricane I never wanted to experience. And now I’m trapped alone with him in our bosses’ mountain cabin by a surprise snow storm with only a small generator and our own bodies to keep us warm.

I’m not sure if I can survive both the raging blizzard outside and the burning storm growing in my heart the longer I’m forced to spend time with the real Spencer.

Snow One Like You is part of the multi-author Snowed In - Valentine's Inc. series, but can be read as a complete standalone.

The “brat” and the “Angel” !

Every tale in this series begins with two people who are stuck in a snowstorm. Here we have guys who work for Valentine’s, Inc. who take a beak from being “dates-for-hire,” before the busiest week of their year. Funny and perky Spencer/brat also needs to get a picture to enter a photography contest, while he’s at the boss’s cabin.
Older Angelo/Angel, a grumpy, hairy bear of a man, goes along to satisfy the boss that Spencer won’t be alone. This short story shows us the dichotomy of the two guys who seem to hate each other, but are attracted as well. Enemies to lovers.
We have twink Spencer, who yearns to be dominated by big gay bear, Angelo. Lots of banter, sassiness, truth or dare, and revelations, come into the light. I would have liked more background info and to see the “ball-gag” threat followed though .... :)
Enjoy !

Angelo and Spencer

They hate each other, that’s obvious
Angelo hates everything that comes out of the brats' mouth. Spencer enjoys it to irritate Angelo.

“I hate you,” I hissed on a low tone barely recognizable as human. “I know.”

When they get trapped in their bosses cabin they both get a glimpse of the other real characters. It seems hate and other feelings aren’t far from each other.
It seems the brat has a lovely soul.

“Because I’m made with sugar and spice and everything nice.”

A lovely story with two opposites, an enemies to lovers troop I loved.
It’s a quick read, hot and steamy, witty and even some blurred eyes. I loved the fast pace, it’s slightly developed and exactly enough to make it an appealing and enjoyable story.

To everyone else Spencer is such a sweet person but to Angelo he is huge brat and he'd rather not be around him. But, blizzard that leaves them stuck in one place together may help him realize who the true person is behind the bratty behavior.

There is just something about enemies to lovers book that does it for me almost every time. Angelo and Spencer couldn't be more different and the tension between these two when they were in the same room together was intense and incredibly hot -- and then to see it grow into something more made this a perfect little read for me.

Unlike the others so far, this one is actually about Valentine’s Inc guys. The other books have friends with the company or it’s mentioned in passing, but we actually get the guys this time. And if you remember Erick and Lawrence from the Valentine’s Inc series, they are back in this one, with employees that seem to hate each other. But underneath, there’s a spark that may end up getting lit.
Spencer and Angelo have a love/hate thing going on at the office. It seems more like a hate thing from Angelo’s end. For some reason, Spencer just pushes every one of Angelo’s buttons and he’ll be the first to deny it’s in any other way but annoyance. But part of why Spencer gets under Angelo’s skin, is Angelo is attracted to him and doesn’t want to be sidled with a brat. But the bosses asked him to keep an eye on him at their cabin in the woods and both start to see a side to the other that was clearly unexpected and throws each other off. And it’s seeming to be a wonder on how long it will actually take for them to act on what they really feel or if they will continue to snark and tick each other off.
This book CRACKED me up! Spencer is the perfect brat. I just absolutely loved how he was pushing Angelo’s buttons. It’s funny too, because normally, in real life, most times it would get on my nerves, like Angelo. But something about Spencer just made it so funny. I guess because underneath I could see he wasn’t trying to be cruel, like Angelo was. He was just flustered at the man and that’s how it came out. He’s actually a very sweet and kind of shy guy. Not totally shy and that may not be the right word. But Spencer has this vulnerability about him that just makes him….seem almost naive like. Although he’s far from it. If that makes sense. But what I love about Spencer too, is that he wasn’t trying to be hurtful or upsetting, but he was starting to make Angelo see a side of himself that maybe he hadn’t taken a good look at. And Angelo was starting to realize a lot of things about himself and Spencer.
This book is loads of fun. It really is. Between the bosses being up to no good and Spencer and Angelo’s sniping at each other, it made for some fun times. I really enjoyed this book so much.

This was such a cute book. It wasn’t very long, but it felt like a complete story. Angelo and Spencer are each other enemies, or so they thought. Until they’re trapped in a cabin during a snowstorm.
Their relationship from enemies to lovers was done perfectly, very organically. Their banter and taunting each other had me grinning a lot. Spencer is the perfect brat without being over the top, and I was amazed by how long Angelo could hold on to his determination not to fall for him. The air was positively crackling with sexual tension between them.
This book was low on angst but high on sweetness and fun. Perfect for reading on a winter’s day. You’ll soon forget the cold with the warmth these two guys will give you.

Independent reviewer for Gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted a copy of this book.

Oh yeah, I LOVED this book! So much!

Angelo and Spencer have a great deal of . . .not hatred cos that is too strong a word, but they really dislike each other, with a passion. And it's that passion that spills things over into something much more, something neither of them dreamed of.

So much passion, from these two, it burned the page! While what they say to themselves is hatred of the other, deep down, they both know that there is something more between them and getting stuck in a snow storm together is the time to let it all out, and just FEEL, you know?? So much the feels!

I loved the speed at which these guys fell, once they admitted to themselves at least what they were actually feeling. Usually I don't but the whole book (bar the epilogue) takes place over a few days, some 125 pages, so for it to work, it has to be fast. I loved that they were all in.

Both guys have a say, in the first person, so we get it all from them both. How much Spencer riles Angelo up. How much Spencer gets a kick out of calling him Angel. How much what they both want from the other means to them. LOVED these guys, I really did!

Can't see that I've read anything else by this author, and now I want more!

I'm not sure that the enemies-to-lovers thing made a ton of sense. They bothered one another, yes, and their personalities didn't seem to mesh, sure, but overall it didn't feel like they should have been enemies, but rather annoyed coworkers who just didn't get each other. Everything was figured out in the end and the ending was actually a highlight for me because it was real and very promising. Along the way though, I was more frustrated and confused than charmed.

Angelo wasn't just annoyed and thrown off by Spencer, he was downright caustic and cruel more often than not and not even for a really good reason. In fact, I found the reasoning quite dumb. He misjudged him at virtually every turn and his harshness was not awesome. While he did soften, I would really liked to have seen more of it.

Spencer was the more interesting of the two because he had a greater depth and far more interesting things about his aspirations and connections. There was something sweet about him despite his brattiness. He drew me in with all that Angelo wasn't willing to see at first and I thought it was Angelo that needed to prove himself a good partner for Spencer and not the other way around.

The story was nice and cute with a good ending and some steamy and sweet moments.

This is a perfect enemies to lovers romance and a wonderful addition to the Valentine's Inc series. I love that we have a story involving to people who work for the Valentine's Inc company, they deserve a HEA just like those they work with/for.
Spencer easily riles up Angelo, even without meaning too which makes for fun reading. Angelo seems like quite the sourpuss but there's no one better when it comes to getting a reaction out of him and whether he wants it or not, there is attraction, a connection that lies between him and Spencer. A couple of nights together in a isolated cabin is all that's needed to ignite the spark that smoulders between them. Though they may be opposite in a lot of ways when it comes to looks and personality, they are perfectly matched when it comes to the bedroom.
This is a fun, sexy read with a lot of great banter between the two men. Though it's a quick read, we really get to know the two men and what makes them tick. The majority of the book is in a beautiful setting that's wonderfully highlighted by the author's writing. Highly recommend this book and the whole series.

My first book of Ashe Winters and I loved it!

A perfectly execute "enemies to lovers" / "hate to love" story. This book is part of the multi-author Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series but each book can be read as a stand alone.

I love every bit on this book.
We have Angelo and Spencer, Angel and the Brat. They're are coworkers on the dating company, Valetines Inc. but can't seem to get along. Spencer loves to provoke and push Angelo's buttons just to get a reaction. And Angelo can't stand the brats attitude of Spencer always trying to get into a fit with him. All they need is a weekend "forced (kinda) getaway trapped in a strong snow storm for them to get to know each other better and get cozy and try to heat things up to keep each other
"warm" ;)

This is a short, cute and steamy story that I assure you'll enjoy! I really liked the MCs, the length, and the plot of this book. I'm just sad that it's so short becauser I would love to know and explore more of the characters future together. I really recommed this sweet, steamy and short read, you won't regret it.

*I read an ARC of the book in exchange of my honest review.

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

I wonder if it is too much to ask for an author to actually proofread (or have someone proofread) their work before they publish it? I really wanted to give this 3-stars for the horrific amount of grammatical errors, but I am trying to control my urge to metaphorically pull my hair out every time I read a sentence that is so messed up it just pulls me right out of the story... grrr

As for the story? It was cute! It was also very short, so it was lacking in characters, but the few that we got were either old friends or great family members, so no complaints on that front! I would have liked to have seen more development with the whole "ball gag" issue, but as I said, this story is really short! ;D

This is one of those stories you read... smile that secret smile that we all get when our guys finally manage to work out the secret of love and then you move onto the next story with bumbling males that, as a general rule, have their heads stuck up their butts... aww, such is the life of a truly devoted M/M reader! *grin*

Ashe Winters' Snow One Like You, part of the multi-author Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series, is a sweet enemies to lovers romance.

In this one, Spencer and Angel are stranded together during a snowstorm, starting off the entertainment. These are two men who don't get along, yet the sparks fly. Yes, their passionate dislike leads to passionate need for one another.

Their story is one of banter and sass, as well as that of a twink and a bear. With just 124 pages, the reader doesn't get a detailed background, but there's plenty to enjoy without it. The humor is great, the sex is hot, and the storyline is just super sweet. Spencer is a loveable brat, who just loves to pick at the hunky bear, Angel.

Unlike the previous books in this Snowed In series, this one has Valentine's Inc truly involved. Not only do we get to visit with the men of Valentine's Inc, both of the main characters also work for them.

Overall, Snow One Like You is a delightful, short romance that will leave you smiling.

Brat shows grump the magic of a mountain morning: sweet and steamy😉

4.5🌟stars
I really liked the couple, the length, the dialogue, and the plot of this briefer MM holiday romance. The epilogue was also well done: not too long and allowing enough time to have past to get a feel for how their relationship has developed. Quite different in that this was a Valentine's Day romance yet both guys were hard at work making the holiday sparkle for others as dates-for-hire.

The cabin in the woods is a setting that never gets old for me, and their efforts to keep warm were 🔥🔥. Angelo's close attachment to his family and Spencer's need for some close emotional connection added some warmth to their story too.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Angels & Brats

Enemies to lovers and forced proximity? Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming. First, I really want to visit that cabin. Second, mmm, the sparring and banter between Spencer and Angelo is both funny and delicious. So delicious I bet it's on the same level as an orange scone. I found Spencer adorably sassy and think he should always give Angelo a hard time. Angelo may be reserved at times but I dare you to not find him sexy after you read this book. When they're together, well, I’m surprised there was any snow left; their connection is that intense and sizzling. What I liked the most about Angelo and Spencer was watching them let go with each other. They’re honest, witty, sweet, and like this book a whole lotta fun. They captured the magic for me.

I read this book through Kindle Unlimited.

I like this. It caught my interest right away and moved at a good pace.
These characters are likable and engaging, especially Spencer. I liked Angelo and his devotion to his family, but otherwise, I couldn't get a good read on him. But they are good together, and that's all that matters in the end. Their passion is strong, the emotional element is believable, and the HEA is satisfying.
I like the storyline, the secondary characters, and the environments. The only thing I didn’t care for was the touch of kink. There wasn't much in there, but what was there was kind of hard for me to swallow. A heads up in the blurb would have been nice.
All in all, I think Snow One Like You is a good read.

A mountain cabin, two men finding each other and love.  These guys are so much fun as we watch them drive each other a bit crazy and yet there are those vulnerable times where they see more than that irritating personality.  This was an enjoyable read as we watch these guys find their footing and fall in love.

Spencer and Angelo/Angel have wonderful banter, sweet exchanges and as they try to find themselves they find they are better together.  Their chemistry sparks and their connection hums with intensity.  I really enjoyed them together.

This is book nine of the Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series and can be read as a stand alone.  These stories are not interconnected.

I was gifted this book from Gay Romance Reviews and i freely give my honest opinion and review.

The snowed-in kind of forced proximity is a nice type of story to read in the winter. I enjoyed both Angelo and Spencer's characters and felt like the story was developed sufficiently without too many unneeded excess parts. It made sense to me how they progressed from annoyed with one another to friendly behavior, and then on to the steamy bits! The only thing I would have liked is more time in the cabin after the snow fell. It was not needed for the story, just a personal preference. Even though this is book number 9, it is the first I have read in this connected collection and believe it is easily a stand alone; so don't worry if you haven't read the others. I received a complimentary copy to read from Gay Romance Reviews and all opinions are mine alone.

This is a quick, fun and sweet story with interesting characters. I like Spencer and Angelo together and even though they don't get along at first being snowed in at a remote cabin gives them the chance to get to know each other and maybe realize that there is something more than hatred between them. Spencer is spunky and fun while Angelo is grumpy and impatient but only with Spencer. They both fight their attraction to each other as long as they can but they can't deny their smoking hot chemistry. The ending is good but I wish that there was a lot more background information about both of them and that there was more time for their relationship to develop once they return home.

I quite liked the work enemies dynamic between Angelo and Spencer - it just made their attraction to each other so much hotter. Although he's sweet to everyone else, Angelo has only seen the bratty side of Spencer, and he most certainly does not want to like what he sees. Spencer is also confused about his attraction to the older, grumpy man, sure that they wouldn't be compatible. Whilst snowed in at their bosses cabin however, they start to see just how wrong they may be... It had good pacing for a short story; I just wish there had been a tad more depth and background to the characters. Overall, a nice and quick read.

Co-working escorts at Valentine's Inc. Angelo is tricked into babysitting Spencer by their boss Erick up in a Catskill cabin so Spencer can work on his hobby of photography for a national competition and to prove to Erick and his partner Lawrence that he has the ambition to work for Valentine's Inc. Though each rubs the other the wrong way they both have baggage that needs to be dealt with. A blizzard trapping them together just serves that purpose as both realize their mutual needs and desires. A short but good story. I'm reviewing this as I got an ARC for this book.

Perfect!!!

Ashe Winters always surprises me. I’m always surprised and can never guess the way things will work out. Take Angelo and Spencer. At first I can’t see how they will work. Between their perceptions and poor reactions it seems they won’t find a way to mesh. Location and time can change everything. And observing and listening help big time. What a great read and an excellent part of Valentine’s Inc. I recommend checking out the whole series as well as all of this author’s work.

I love "enemies to lovers". And this new installment in the Snowed In Valentine´s Inc. series did not disappoint. The quarrel between the collegues was written belivable and from early on the reader learns about the MCs´s true nature. I liked that they didn´t end up together in the cabin, that get´s snowed in, by accident but by mutual choice. That made the developement more interesting. And I think it was a bonus, that they were given a reasonable time outside the snowed in confines, so the reader can still see how the relationship was able to develop, outside the bubble. Loved it!

Really quick, sweet and sexy short story.
Spencer and Angelo both work at Valentine's Inc and absolutely cannot stand each other.
Spencer is a sassy, snarky, sunshine brat of a guy who just can't seem to stop himself from getting Angelo riled up.
Angelo is a dour grumpy who just wants to shut Spencer up.
When they're caught in a snowbound cabin
Spencer finally pushes Angelo too far and the results are explosive.
As they begin to actually get to know one another, they realize their interactions were actually flirting and foreplay.
Really great short story and I enjoyed the epilogue.

I like Angelo and Spencer. They start out not liking each other which in my opinion is more of a defense mechanism than any actual dislike. They soon find they have more in common than they thought when they find themselves pushed together in a remote cabin. I loved the way Angelo and Spencer interacted with each other when they finally give in and realize how good they would be as friends while still fighting their attraction to one another. I've not read any of the other Valentine's Inc. books but I definitely will now. That being said this book can be read as a stand alone book.

I enjoyed this quick enemies to (almost) lovers/opposites attract story. Although it doesn't end with an HEA, there is definitely some maybe potential. After reading, I had the feeling that the bosses saw something in the repartee between Angelo and Spencer that they didn't see themselves, and maybe it wasn't just circumstance that sent the two men out together. I didn't really relate to either character particularly, but it was a well-written story.

I received an ARC and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Yet another new to me author, but one that I would definitely read again. This quick read focuses an two employees from Valentines,Inc. who have just gotten under each other’s skin from day one. Spencer, the new hire, just can’t seem to be anything but sassy when he’s around Angelo, the hunky but stoic friend of the boss. When Angelo is cajoled into tagging along to a remote Catskills mountain cabin so Spencer can Chase a dream will the two get their animosity out of the way? Or will they open up and maybe discover there is more to each than meets the eye. I really enjoyed this low angst tale of “enemies” to lovers and loved the HEA they got when they both let their guards down ❤️

Love at the cabin

Two co workers for Valentine's Inc go to their bosses cabin not really as friends. But after a snow storm that knocks out the power even Spencer and Angelo could resist getting closer. Spencer likes Angelo but always seems get on his last nerve. But even Angelo could stay a grumpy man once he gets to know Spencer more. I enjoy reading this series. They are fun loving and you can't help falling in love with them.

Even if there are a part of the series, all Valentine's Inc books can be read as standalone. Now the story of Spencer and Angelo is a kind of not-so-friends-to-something-like-lovers type of book, so I really enjoyed it. A lot of funny situations, witty dialogues, hot scenes and romance while they are in close quarters, made this book one of the most entertaining of the series. Wonderful reading!
