Every victory unveils a more powerful enemy.

Bethany Black has helped take down one jackass after another. Now she faces the most powerful force in New York City...which she’ll face alone if she lets the fury inside her burn too hot.

The NY PPD suffers another major blow when most of its officers are killed in a gobler ambush. A friend of Bethany is one of the casualties.

As a weretiger, her hunger for revenge sets her off on a dangerous quest to stick the mastermind’s heart on a platter.

She can't help but think the war has just gotten a bit too personal.

Ah, Bethany. Once again this warrior weretiger is rushed into battle of huge proportions. I found myself in a constant rush to get from one page to the next. The tension never lets up and I found myself overwhelmed with the emotions that the PPD characters were feeling. Bethany's claws has come back to haunt the PPD as more and more of them are killed of or injured in their battles with the evil that is trying to take over the city. Friends are lost and a new love interest comes on the radar for Bethany. Max is leading a sinking ship with the preserverants of a master mind in a fairy's body. Junker becomes more sentient and Bethany's protector. Mike finally is getting brave and entering the fray. A series that that captures our imagination and a book that is darker by far than the others. I can't wait until the next one. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.

Such a great, fun book! From a cute, everyday beginning, the action ramps up quickly to fights, chases and explosions. And just who exactly are the “bad” guys? Some may seem to be the obvious bad guys, but are they really?
I really like the back and forth between BB and Max. Some of BB’s questions are answered, but there are many left. Camp and Cassandra answered some questions but can we trust them?
And the humor! Lou and Bob are hysterical! Pile drivers! A sentient car. A janitor with a great name.
I have loved watching Bethany grow as a person and look forward to some answers in the next book.

Bethany Black is Back.

Set in the Paranormal Police Department of New York City, rookie officer Black is still coming to terms with being the last female weretiger and the missing parts of her life.
She finally gets asked out for a date with a hunky regular police detective. Turns out dating is hard if you've never done it before. With her Pixie partner Max and what's left of the PPD crew, they'll have to save the city from the evil that's attempting to take over. Can they protect the normals who have no clue they're about to all die? Action packed, a must read series.

Wow!

Furious Claws, the fourth book in the New York PPD series, sees Bethany Black get answers to some of the questions she has about her past and how it is linked to the case she and the PPD team are working on, but, the answers only give rise to more questions. However, no time to ponder further, as they are under attack again!
This book sets a fast, action packed pace. Can’t wait for book 5!

Ohhh you can never fault the PPD! They never fail to twist you up in knots and turn you around til you don’t know if up is down or down is up! Bethany is back in the middle of the action, second guessing herself, making mistakes, and just as confused by the plot as we are. It was an excellent book, and will keep you on your toes trying to guess where things are going. I really loved the book and I couldn’t put it down.

Bethany is back and badder than ever. Timely, since escalation is the name of the game and the crew creating the goblers has it in spades. A series of attacks commences with the toughest mutations yet, all while the tangled web of the conspiracy reveals more details. But, with the strength of the enemy inversely commensurate with the amount of information available, it may be too late for the NYPPD to curtail the master plan and avoid eradication. Again.
An incredibly fun read.

Awesome read!

The fourth instalment of the Bethany Black ppd series has you enthralled from the moment you start reading it. Bethany has been invited to a date, what could go wrong? Everything! What you thought you knew from the last book is blown out the water. With brilliantly written fight scenes and highly developed characters, this real page turner does not disappoint from start to finish.

I love this series. Every story from every PPD department is as brilliant as the other. The roller-coaster rides, the humour and snark never lessen in the quality of each tale.
This is no different. What clues seem to be leading towards the story's conclusion suddenly throw a curve-ball into the mix and you find yourself impatiently awaiting the next book. Again.
It's a really great read and I can't wait for the next instalment,

Great read

The mob shows its hands and the murky conspiracy becomes clear or does it as Bethanys past becomes all important and her partner may have more answers than previously thought.
I loved the action and the drama on this one as we get our big face off whilst finding out their is still even more to see.

New York PPD just gets edgier and better!

Bethany is back! Still a “rookie” at least according to Shakespeare. Lots of amazing characters, action and twists. Who is good and who is bad? Bethany is figuring that out with a lot of puzzle pieces she’s trying to fit together. Can not wait for the next book!

Black and Shakespeare a great double act

Another great book from the minds and pens of John Logsdon and Ben Zackheim. This is my favourite of the Bethany Black books so far. It moves at a great pace and keeps you turning the pages. Totally leaves you wanting and needing more can’t wait for No 5. Bring it on soon please.

Revelations

Just when the PPD thinks they have everything figured out, something happens to show the them a new piece to the puzzle. Finally it seems like the real culprit has been revealed but is it to late to stop the plan the enemy has put in place? Can they win and avenge all the people lost. Can wait to read the next book and find out.

Bethany Black is back and struggling. She's fighting the enemy as well as her past. This book is the most intense in the series both by way of action and emotionally. I'm now even MORE attached to Junker. Everything about Furious Claws is just more, and it's so worth it.

Very enjoyable! The fourth novel in this series got off to a bit of a slow start for me; I found myself going back to the last book a few times to jog my admittedly not amazing memory. However, after the first 20% or so I was rolling good. Great setup for the next book!

Bethany's world is falling apart. She doesn't know who she can trust anymore, but you can't keep a good weretiger down! Don't miss out on another cracking tale from Logsdon and Zackheim!

Only one more book in the series to go. Could be just one long book instead of four because it is just one story line.
