This was nice, but since I haven't read the other books I was really feeling like I was missing something with the (non-existent) world-building.

For such an old, powerful demon, Adi was a sweetheart. After millennia of loneliness, he was looking for a companion, someone that would appreciate him for who he was, not for his powers. But, he never would have expected his life to change for ever thanks to a virgin, innocent young incubus. As it turned out, when he saved Sacha, Adi not only managed to be a electrifying knight in shining armor - or demon in an older man's body, as it were- but, eventually, to also find for himself a life long partner.
Sacha woke up so many emotions in Adi: possessiveness, need to provide, tenderness and his protective instincts. So, it didn't come as a surprise to me that an accidental "daddy" from Sacha would ignite a need to be just that. And let me tell you, the big, tough demon was actually cute, getting all swoony when Sacha accepted to be his boy.
This story was fast paced and short. Incredibly, though, Sacha and Adi had time to fight some cyclops and powerful witches, to awaken Sacha's incubus aura and save his life- by the power of Adi's sexual prowess, might I ad (read and find out how), and finally, have their daddy/boy, passion and love filled happily ever after.
Fun.

Devilishly good
I love this world and all its intricate paranormal aspects. Adi is a demon unlike anyone else. I wouldn't mind being rescued by him and I know I would never lack for entertainment. Sacha is sweet but watch out he has teeth and isn't afraid to bite. This duo won't let anything or anyone come between them. Electrifying and intoxicating their love story will fulfill all your desires.

An older (Much older!) younger mm romance
Adi has escaped exile to hell. He finds an overwhelming attraction to Sacha, a virgin succubus. He rescues Sacha who has been chased to exhaustion down alleyways, takes him home and tends to his first aid needs. Then once Sacha wakes, they start to take care of his living arrangements and safety needs. Thus starts a sweet relationship. This book falls between 2 and 3 in the Blade and Dust series. It was fun and a very quick read. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this story and the main characters, incubus Sacha and demon Adaman (Adi). I almost passed on this story, because daddy kink isn't one of my favorite tropes, and I'm glad I didn't. Although Sacha is shy, timid, and dependent to start, he was not childlike, and Adi. although he is strong, kind, and takes care of Sacha, did not punish him or treat him like a child. Sacha works as a dancer at a strip club, but he's remained a virgin because he's afraid his incubus power kills. Adi is a demon. They meet one night after some men (I am being intentionally vague) try to kidnap Sasha and Adi saves him. Sacha is safe, for now, but those men will come for him again unless they are stopped.
This is a sweet, pretty low angst insta-love story with a little mystery and fated mates. Adi and Sacha are both very much against the normal stereotypes for demons and incubi, and they are endearing. Two Things:
1. This book will be a lot more enjoyable if you’ve read the previous ones. While TECHNICALLY it can be read as a stand-alone, I feel like it will leave you feeling like you missed something because it doesn’t have the world building that the others have, yet it’s in the same world. Some may not find any issues though. So...it could just be s good gateway to getting you hooked on this series. Only you can really answer that.
2. I’m not the biggest fan of Daddy/Boy relationships, but I don’t hate them. The shifter world gave this a unique spin. A demon daddy? Not a bad idea at all. Rhys creates great characters, so I’m not totally surprised. Lol
This was a fun, quick read with a cast of great characters, and—of course—action! Definitely an entertaining addition to this series.

Quite a refreshing take on demons and incubus.
Adaman aka/Adi supplied by Sacha isn't the stereotypical evil demon described in other books. He's a welcome twist to the demon portrayal. His release from Hell is tied into the previous books
in this series so a read of those could be helpful to understanding the theme of this particular story. Anyway, Adaman was the host of his human spirit who has died thus leaving Adaman a lonely demon "needing someone who cared enough about his spirit as well as his body". And thus he finds himself the rescuer of Sasha from the clutches of the owners of the club Eternity. Sasha is a "virgin" incubi that finds in Adi what he needs to survive. For me this was a charming and light hearted read even though the theme did have it's dark side. I was pleased to get an ARC of this story and this is my voluntary review of it.

Adaman (Adi) is a demon from hell (not quite that hell, but close enough). He’s been around a long time, and he’s seen pretty much everything, but that doesn’t stop him from being instantly drawn to young incubus Sacha. When Sacha’s job as a stripper puts him in danger, Adi is his salvation, and their relationship, which develops alongside a significant amount of supernatural peril, fills both emotional and physical needs for both Adi and Sacha. This is an enjoyable read-- Adi is both nurturing to Sacha and terrifying to everyone else. Sacha doesn’t let his youth, inexperience, or fear keep him from evolving to overcome all of his trials. They’re good together, and for all that their romance happens quickly, it’s substantive as well.

I loved Daddy Heart. It is book 2.5 in the Cursed Hearts series. This is a spinoff story about a demon and an incubus set in the Cursed Heart world. It takes place after the events in the second book in the Cursed Hearts series. In book two, Christian did the lei line spell to free a specific demon and didn't know that he also let out other demons. Adi is one of those demons. He goes to a strip club and sees Sacha perform. The strippers at Wild Boys are incubi, and as a part of their job, they sleep with the clients. However, Sacha is the exception since he is a virgin. Something nefarious happens that night at the blub, causing Sacha to flee again, right into the arms of Adi. The book is an age gap, daddy/boy, Demon, incubus virgin story. It was full of hot scenes and action and adventure. I greatly enjoyed it.

This is a short but very enjoyable demon/incubus daddy kink romance with an intriguing plot & has good world building. The characters are interesting & have some problems just to spice things up.

Another great book from Rhys Lawless, this time a spin-off from the Blade & Dust series. I know it says that this is a standalone but there is so much of this book tied to the main series that it really does help to have read it. Saying that don't expect it to be a follow from the series because it isn't!!!
With completely new characters this book remains in the world of Blade and Dust series, bringing a new spin to the Daddy/boy troupe. Demon, Incubi, Cyclops, Witches, Shifters, before time powers, spells, untested newbie powers, insta love, hurt/comfort, all of this rolled into an action packed romp around the capital from Chelsea to Soho.
I loved this book, as I did the Blade and Dust series, and I'm totally recommending it to you for your Kindle today xx

This was such a good book! I loved this take on demons and incubi. It wasn’t the normal demons are evil and just want destructions. Adi’s story continues from another series but this one can be read without that it justness gives some more background and can add to this story. Adi is a lonely demon looking for someone to love him for who he is and not his abilities. Enter Sacha a virgin incubus Adi rescues. A slip of the tongue leads to possibilities neither of them expected. These two made my heart melt I loved their relationship. There was some action and humor along with the connection these two characters formed. The ending was really good I loved this book so much.

A spin-off of the Blade & Dust series
While set in the same world as the Blade and Dust series, this is a spin-off and can be read completely separate. There may be a few references that make it helpful to have read the series but nothing that will take away from the enjoyment of the story. Starring Adi, the ancient demon, and Sacha, the virgin incubus stripper, and what you end up with is a short Daddy/boy romance with night crawlers, vampires, witches, cyclops, etc. as co-stars. An enjoyable read for me as it had enough common elements in common with the Blade and Dust series that it felt like a continuation of the series.

I really enjoyed this novella set in the world of Cursed Hearts. Adi and Sacha were so cute. I loved Adi, seeing demons in this world in a different light than the main story was enlightening, and Sacha was so adorable. The world building continued with a more in depth exploration of demons and incubi so I feel that it made a great addition, though if you haven't read the main series there will be some things that don't make much sense. I really loved all of the scenes between the two of them and how varied they were. All of the horniness in the wrong places was amusing. The plot was great, it really pulled me into it. This really was a great addition and I would definitely recommend it.

It’s a nice little story of how Adi the demon saves the life of a young and inexperienced incubus named Sacha. If you like a little bit of daddy kink with your supernatural, this one’s for you! These two are perfect for each other and have instant chemistry. I wouldn’t have minded knowing a little more about Adi and Sacha but that is for future tales!

That was my absolute favorite line in the story. Adaman and Sacha had my heart from the beginning and the story just sucked me in. Every book Rhys writes just gets better and better and this was a perfect side story to give you a glimpse of what happened in London after the event at Tower Bridge and how it affected people in this world. I could happily continue reading about the adventures in this world and the characters it creates. Fabulous story in a fabulous series.

A very sweet love story of a young incubus and a demon. A really funny twist is that the incubus is a virgin with issues. I found it hilarious taking into account the very nature of incubi. And the demon with a protective streak...another funny twist. So there will be an interesting relationship dynamics with seriously steamy scenes, and even some action. I think it's an enjoyable read that will make you smile.

This was a great short story that was extremely well written. It was full of action & heat and doesn't lack anything despite being a novella. We get the background information we need on both MCs, and the instalove between them was done beautifully. There was just the right amount of Daddy kink as well. I highly recommend this book!

Sacha is a virgin incubus and Adaman (Adi) is a demon recently released from hell. Adi rescues Sacha from being sold along with the other Incubi from the club he is employed as a stripper. This story involves all types of magical beings; witches, nightcrawlers and cyclops. Lots of adventure as Adi and Sacha try to free the captured Incubi, running from others trying to kidnap Sacha. Also romantic and steamy episodes. The author keeps you reading until the last word.

This set up so much
Sacha and Adi are so cute in an oddly homicidal way. They are completely perfect from first sight and the HEAT! This story can be read alone but I would highly recommend reading it if you are reading the rest of the Blade & Dust series as it adds some depth to the main story that I think it ready needs.

Adi is a demon who was freed from the events that happened in Demon Heart. He craves a connection with someone, anyone! He comes across Sacha being kidnapped and steps in to help him. Sacha is an incubus. Sacha has issues trusting in himself. Adi and Sacha were perfect for one another. This was super-hot and steamy!! Loved it. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received.

Short but sweet, not all demons are bad
Can be read as a standalone, but it does follow on after the Blade & Dust series, knowing the back story does add to this slightly. Apparently demons get a bad press, and Adaman turns out to be a good guy, and probably the best match for an incubus, well this one definitely. Short and hot.

I absolutely LOVED IT!!!! It was such a revreshing take on the supernatural. Short yet very sweet and HOT!!! I loved the characters and the storyline. I also loved how it effortlessly integrated with the Cursed Heart series. Rhys Lawless well done on yet another amazing book and what an awesome way to end a series.

Wow a demon and incubus! Adi is a very old demon that has been set loose in the world. He is powerful yet a kind soul. When he runs into Sacha trying to escape from being kidnapped, he sets out to help the young man. It doesn't take long for the two of them to become lovers. Adi agrees to help out Sacha and in the end Sacha learns how to control his powers and not be afraid to fall in love.

Daddy Heart is short steamy story about Adi, a demon, and Sacha, a young virgin incubus. Adi rescued Sacha from being kidnapped and became the daddy Sacha needed to help him get control of his powers. I love Adi and Sacha's connection and dynamic. They're just who the other needed. This is an enjoyable story full of adventure.

This was a fabulous short set in the Blade and Dust World. It was very interesting to see how the events on the tower bridge were affecting the rest of the nightcrawler world. I loved Sacha and Adi, and while I’m not usually one for daddy kink, if there is anyone that needed that type of love, it was Sacha. The incubus and demon dynamics were well done and interesting, and I think Rhys has done an amazing job creating this world.

A wonderful addition to the highly entertaining A Blade & Dust series, Sacha and Adi were such great characters, engaging and likable. All in all a very enjoyable short read.
