Joey needs a Daddy....

Sex has never been my main priority. Not what people expect to hear from someone who’s been head camera man for the single best studio in the kind of industry I work in.

I thought I’d seen it all working for the Ballsy Boys, but helping to build the Kinky Boys from the ground up seems like it’s going to be an eye opening experience.

A man has never turned my head before, so why can’t I stop checking out Daddy?

Sex might not be the height of excitement for me, but watching subs kneel for their Daddies certainly has me wondering....

What does it mean if a Daddy Dom keeps trying to feed me and make sure I’m okay? And what does it mean if I kind of like it?

Daddy is the first book in the Kinky Boys series, a spin-off from the best-selling Ballsy Boys series. It can be enjoyed as a stand-alone and ends with an HEA.

Heartwarming & Sexy!

Spiller free review:

This book is delightful and I seriously enjoyed every second. The plot is easy to get invested in, the characters are likeable and Kenneth Obi (who I recognized from his work reading the Bound and Controlled series) does an awesome job performing this book. The character voices are fun, his Brooklyn twang for Hunter was cute, and he goes all out with realistic inflections for the intimacy scenes. I tend to be picky about what I purchase, and this was 100% worth it.

I was extremely happy to see an exploration of different sexualities in this book! I have seen the 'didn't know I was into men' trope before, but it so rarely culminates in a character who is actually bi/pan AND on the ace spectrum. I think Nora wrote demisexuality really thoughtfully here, and I was super happy they came out and said it in the novel because I was absolutely screaming it the first half of the book. The pacing of the book was good, I didn't feel put off by how serious their relationship got towards the end, I just think the two leads were super sweet.

Beginnings and Endings

After listening to Ballsy Boys this story really didn't have a lot of "on screen" sex like you found in the previous series. But it fits the two characters of this story so well. Hunter is still dealing with a past incident and Joey is coming to understand who he is sexually. There is a lot of things happening in this book from the start of a new studio, new characters being introduced, the couple themselves, family, and the a past incident that needs some final closure. All of these pieces come together to provide a rich story.

I listened to the audio version and it was very well done.

Wonderful

I’d forgotten just how much I adored this book. Hunter and Joey are everything. Kenneth does wonders bringing these characters voices to life and it’s great to here the Ballsy Boys characters too.

Great start to a new series

I loved the Ballsy Boys and I’m loving the new series! Joey and Hunter “Daddy” make a great couple and there chemistry is crazy. I think there going to be some great characters and stories coming!
I usually enjoy Kenneth’s narrations even though he tends to use the same “voice” for the same type of characters so I was glad to hear different voices used for Joey and Daddy.

I loved it

I love the Ballsy Boys series and was very excited for this new spin off.  I was not disappointed; Hunter and Joey are fantastic together. Hunter is a great Daddy. He is so supportive of Joey, and I love that he so clearly admires and appreciates his skills and talents.  Joey is not the typical expected boy; he's older and still has so much to learn about himself.  I loved seeing Joey's curiosity and desire to figure out who he is and what he wants.

Kenneth Obi does a great job with Joey and Hunter. Hunter's New York accent is easily recognizable and it's easy to know who is talking at any given time.  It's also great to hear the familiar voices of Pixie and Bear.

Decent but..

The story was decent. The characters were likable, but once the two MCs were in their relationship Obi made their voices all cutesy like Joey went from 40 something to 10 years old and Hunter went from confident 40 something treating Joey like an equal to a voice you get when talking to puppies or babies.
That's my only real problem. It took me out of the story more and more to the point where I only finished the audio version because I paid for it.

Just as fun in audio

I have a Daddy kink, so this book was wonderful. It was also fun to see Joey figure out his sexuality. I'm curious to see the rest of this series. oh, and I don't particularly love a NY accent, but Kenneth Obi made it work. You can tell what it is, but can still understand all the words. Good job on that!
