I found this story to have undeveloped potential. It is the story of a catering business of two partners who are seeking successes in business and in love. One partner is attracted to a widow who is still recovering from the deaths of her husband and daughter. The other partner is challenged by a rich "daddy's little girl."
This book was fine. It had some nice moments, and there was nothing offensive, but I had trouble getting into the characters. It was hard to connect with them. The two male friends were a bit juvenile. There were some interesting moments, and the heroine had to overcome tragedy in her past, but overall, this book was just ok for me.
I am now obsessed with Laura Dominos books. This story was just the sweetest story ever and Curtis has the most patience that I have ever saw. I love that two guys were the main caterers and showed off their culinary skills. I also love the biblical lessons in this authors books. I can’t wait to read The Renovation. I highly recommend this series.
The whole story was sweet with kind, thoughtful characters. The main characters were Christians who were trying to live their lives with Christ as their guide. The plot was just how the people would work out their caring for each other. No cursing; loving relationships with kissing and respect.
A sweet, engaging Christian romance. An enjoyable storyline with good character development. Keeps the reader interested from start to finish. If you enjoy good clean romance you'll want to read this book.
Curtis meeting the neighbor Hannah, offers friendship, giving her time. It is not easy to get over the lost of her first love and child. A nice Christian story of pray, time and healing that was given to her.
I loved this book. It had me laughing at times and then crying. I love every book I have read that was written by this author. If you love a good romance, you should read this book.
Two men who are longtime friends, and two women who don't know each other or the men. The fun begins and doesn't end until everyone gets sorted out to their proper place. This book is a lot of fun to read, and some of the things that happen are really hilarious.
I would recommend Laura's book, to anyone who likes Christian romance , this book shows you how God can help you get through very difficult times in your life.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this sweet Christian contemporary romance. It was a fun and entertaining read with engaging characters and a believable storyline. Looking forward to reading book 3 of this series!
A sweet, interesting Christian romance. I loved how Curtis met his partner's neighbor and patiently courted her, allowing her time to get over the grief over the deaths of her husband and daughter. Good character development, and some really funny parts. Nice ending.
