a fun tiny trip

A fairly fun little trip into a series I love.
I cant wait for the next full book, unlike the full thousand li books, I've decided to knock a point from story.
this is a side thing, well it leaves potential growth, it seems more of a set up for future works.

short

not really sure what's going on here, but it was a chapter. I didn't hate it but I don't think it added to my life. I like the series, but I don't see any reason to read this apart from just supporting the author. I listened to it twice.

Good very short supplement

By advancing the romantic relationship, it’s clear we’re beyond book 2 of the Thousand Li series. Once more we see the offshoots of the intrigues of Chinese society. I like where Tao Wong went with this story. I got it on sale and would never have spent more than $2 for such a short piece, but I’m glad I did. It would be good to label such stories with a sequence position (eg. Book 2.5)

Cute little preview

While this is later in the journey, likely around the end of book 3, it gives you one fight, a taste for the writing style, and a good reason to start the whole series if you have not already. If you have, this is a cute side story, and you will enjoy it no matter where in the series you currently are.

short and sweet

short, but sweet. I hope Tao Wong does this as an appetizer in between his books.
