So much in my life has changed…

At first, Axel, Xavier, and I were divided, but now we are on the run together from the Council to save our lives. Unfortunately, we collided with something so much WORSE in the process.

Werewolves thought that vampires no longer existed after they wiped them off the face of the planet…

...but it turns out that information was bullsh*t.

Vampires weren’t extinct at all.

They created cities hidden underground and have been replenishing their ranks for decades, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike back. In that time, the werewolves, their natural rivals and greatest enemies, have forgotten their scent.

They’ve forgotten how to fight them.

To make matters worse, I’m now plagued with odd visions no one understands. Oh, and no one bothered to tell me a vampire’s bite would feel like acid burning through my veins.

Do you remember when I said I was cursed?

My life can’t get much worse than this, right?

Wrong! It can.

Well this novella was certainly better than the previous one but...

I just feel it’s been dragged out and padded up. Instead of 5 novellas this could easily have been cut down to be 1 book. Well from what I’ve read so far anyway.

Like I said this one was better but it’s still not great. But I’m sticking with it and moving on...

I had to take a break from this story for a while. It's dark, yes, but mainly because I can see where the relationship with Ruby & Axel was headed. Too soon. I've always been sickened when a story has an abusive Alpha-hole forgiven without any reasonable time passing or actions of atonement & heartfelt apology. Starvation, confinement in chains, surviving in your own filth, dragging by the hair, bruising, verbal abuse & threats, is not easily gotten over. Not physically or psychologically. Her bones are prominent & she rightly hates him...for about 5 minutes. Not a good message. A week of torture & suffering is ok now that a few kind actions & words are given? Maybe he makes up for it later, if that's even possible, but her quick softening is gross.

“Whoever or whatever saved you had to be supernatural, and strong at that, to have killed the vamps that attacked you guys. If we’re lucky, maybe they’ll show themselves soon.” - Natalie

In the previous instalment, Ruby, Xavier and Axel were forced to go on the run after Olcan’s nefarious plans for Ruby became clear. An hour into their journey, they were attacked by vampires and if not for the intervention of a dark shadow, Ruby would have had the life drained from her.

When Ruby regains consciousness at Axel’s safe house, the trio realise that they must return to their pack and warn them of the danger ahead. Vampires are believed to have been wiped out decades ago and the fact that they’ve been hiding underground and replenishing their ranks ever since, can only spell doom for werewolves and humans alike.

As they race to save their pack, however, Ruby finds herself not only undergoing physical changes but plagued with terrible visions too...

Luna Conflicted is the third compelling instalment of the Luna Rising series. Told from multiple point of views that include; Luna, Xavier, Axel and Natalie, the book picks up immediately after the events of the previous book. With the resurgence of an old enemy long believed dead, we see our trio on the run from an even more deadlier threat.

Unlike the previous books, romance takes a backseat and we see a more united front between Ruby, Xavier and Axel as the latter two push aside their differences and pack politics in the face a common enemy. Axel in particular really comes through in this instalment and saves their lives on more than one occasion.

I was also happy with Ruby’s development as we see hints of her finally coming into herself. She seems to be undergoing some physical changes since the vampire attack. Most intriguing of all are her visions - especially those of the shadow man. Who is he? Friend or foe?

This was definitely a more tense and compelling read than the previous books. I was engrossed to such an extent that I couldn’t believe it when I reached the last page which once again ended on a huge cliffhanger. The fact that the books are rather short is my only criticism of the series. Recommended.

I received an advanced free audible copy of Luna Rising which was narrated by Meg Price. I was impressed with her clear, concise delivery which made it easy to differentiate between the characters.

Okay so obviously I knew Ruby was something because she had to be, but killing vampires by burning them without even touching them, what is that? How much does Natalie really know about what’s going on. What about the shadows and whoever saved them from the vampires. There are so many questions and I can’t wait to get the answers.

The ideas have a lot of potential but the characters aren't very likeable or developed for this being the thrid book in the series. It was difficult to relate to any specific character.

**3 Stars**

Another quick, enjoyable read. I’m really interested in the character development coming up with Ruby, I think we all knew it was heading in a unique direction but it seems interesting. I am wishing for a bit more dynamics between the love triangle angle, but it’s mostly been about the brewing war, which isn’t really what I care about as much.

„Luna Conflicted“ the third installment in the “Luna Rising Series” by Sara Snow, follows Ruby Saunders into the next chapter on her life. After being swallow into a reality of werewolves and shifter politics, and joggling her relationship with Xavier Blackwood, the giant and unpredictable monster and the eternal grim-wolf Axel (pun very much intended). Originally divided into two opposite factions, Axel and Xavier needs to fight together, not only because they are already linked though Ruby, but also because a long believed dead enemy has come out of “extinction”. Against all beliefs, and surely not for lack of trying on the werewolves’ part, it seems as vampires have not been exterminated at all. After decades of hiding in the underground, they are ready for a re-match.

It is a well written book, with relatable characters, an interesting story-arc, some new twists around the werewolf myth. This book adds the proverbial werewolf/vampire feud to the mix, a fast read, the action to progress nicely, the characters are likeable and the length of the book makes it a good relative quick read, to be deal with in a couple of bites 😉

so very passive and repetitive

I really think this series had potential which is why I kept reading but after 3 books I’m done. There are still no answers at all and so very little has actually happened. Progress is so slow!!! Most of the book consists of the characters sitting around the kitchen or wherever and talking about what they need to do or what they think is going on. Then it switches to another POV and you get a recap of the same convo or events. It’s so very passive bc nothing happens and it’s insanely repetitive. Ugh and Ruby is so incapable of anything. She says she wants to hide and not help bc vampires are too scary. She is constantly made out as weak and then they are calling her a “strong mate”. She says she is strong and capable because she gave Xavier the idea to make a video. What nonsense is that??? I ended up skimming a lot. I won’t keep reading. I can’t take any more.

This has been the best book of the series so far. It is much more fast paced and a hell of a lot more has happened. When seeing the chapters all had Ruby’s name I has assumed that this would be a stand alone book and we wouldn’t see other characters POV’s but i am happy that they are there still, keeping in line with the other books. An easy read once again and finished very quickly. As I have said in all my reviews on this series there is a lot more that could be done with the chapters but the author seems to have a style where they like to jump from one major point to the next rather than showing the mundane stuff and I enjoy knowing what goes on outside of the major plot points. The story still has a mystery around it and another one has been added with Ruby at the end leaving a nice cliffhanger for the next book.

It seems the primary conflict has finally been introduced! Huge curve ball thrown into everything that shadows the inter-pack conflict. This book focuses primarily on the supernatural, Ruby and Natalie's emerging powers and the danger the characters are facing. While the issues with Ruby and the two guys do surface from time to time, the romance takes a back seat to the main plot in this book. As someone who is not a fan of fated mates or bully romance that is fine by me. Also glad Ruby finally gets to go on the offensive a bit as the damsel in distress thing was getting a bit old.

This is book 3 of 5 in a serial, read them in order as they build on each other and each end on a doozy of a cliffhanger. Fast, short reads with plenty of action, heat level kissing.

This continues the nonstop adventures of Ruby, Xavier and Axel. Why is Ruby conflicted? Well in the first book we were introduced to the idea that no human had ever been mated with a werewolf and that no one had ever been mated to two werewolves. She is obviously head over heals in love with Xavier and she has a not love-hate relationship with Axel. She has a memory block that prevents her best friend from helping her determine her past life and who she is. She is starting to have non-human abilities and no one know why and then for the end of book 3, she appears to really have a massive change happening, but we have to wait till the next book to find out actually what is happening.

Definitely agree with other readers that this series could be condensed down to 3 books rather than 5 but I'll keep reading as I feel like it has a decent pace and there are questions I want to know the answers to! #3 really picked up the pace and the story got a lot juicier, so definitely continue reading if you want to delve deeper into Ruby's past and her 'powers'. I do wish there was more romance and development between Axel/Xavier/Ruby, but I really like the characters and their stories. I'm on book 5 now, and I'd say this is great for someone looking for something fairly short, fun, and easy to read with a YA feel to it.

4 stars for Luna Conflicted by Sara Snow. This is book three in the Luna Rising Series. This book picks up right where book two left us. Ruby, Xavier, and Axel are on the run and have found out the vampires are not extinct like they said. They are in a race to save themselves and their packs. Something is happening to Ruby and no one knows what. She is changing and not sure what she is becoming. I enjoyed how Ruby seemed to grow stronger in this book. I felt this book was filled with more suspense than the first two. I am hooked on this series; I just wish the books were a little longer.

What enemies to lovers should be

This book had all the elements of what a great enemies to lovers should be. Axel not only apologized but truly understood what he did was wrong and tried to make amends. Ruby didn't just quickly give in but her trust is growing over time. This book deserves five stars just for that instead of having the girl forgive a horrible guy who never truly admits doing wrong, because he's so hot. This book also deserves it's rating because it was that good. What Ruby does is so surprisingly good. I loved it.

Luna Conflicted (Luna Rising #3)

Adel finally starts to show he has some compassion & feelings for Ruby in this instalment. Their lives are at risk from more than just the council now as a new to them enemy surfaces.😲 It turns out that they've actually been in hiding for so long that most wolves believe they're just legends. They've lost most of the knowledge on how to battle them & survive it!💔

I did like this novella more than the previous one, but I too think that these novellas could have been solidified into one book - novel length.

I am not a fan of how quickly Axel was forgiven for his abuse, I believe it sends a wrong message, and is harmful for those who read this who may be in an abusive relationship. The things that he put her through are not to be forgiven lightly, just because he was emotionally incompetent and unable to think through on how he wanted to execute his concerns.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and this is my honest review.

Slow going but picking up speed

This series has felt like it's been slow going. I feel like it could have gone a lot quicker without all the fluff but it is finally picking up and getting going. I like where this is now heading and Ruby is gaining strength and coming into herself. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I liked this book but not much happened. I was kind of disappointed that they went right back to the pack once they found out vampires were back. I was so disappointed how little time she spends with Axel. I kind of feel like maybe he isn't going to be her mate by the end of the series. I am interested to find out what else there is to her now that she's changing.

I have loved all the books in this series so far, and this is no exception. There are her mated werewolves and now vampires. Xavier Ruby and Axel all working together for the safety of their packs and their Luna Ruby. This book is exciting. I was given an ARC for this audible book and this is my honest review.

This is similar to most others where the male tries to refuse the bond without completely rejecting the FMC, usually because of the back ground that something has happened to them. But then comes arounds and needs to make up for how he treated her and can't live without her. I will say I did enjoy it overall, but you can kind of guess what is coming.

Decent

It entertained me. I find it interesting that in 3 books and 2 mates she’s only kissed a few times 1 of them despite being naked once. I still feel like she has no useful past. A detail is revealed to support a moment in the story only. I want to know where her sass, strength, sadness stems from too.

Awesome series!!

This series is a page turner from the start. Ruby, Natalie, Xavier and Axel are a fantastic group 6o read about. Now we have vampires and Ruby is experiencing so weird stuff within her body. A must read for this series. Must be read in order and all so far end with cliffhangers.

We return to the story as Ruby and the boys were attacked. Safe for now they have so many more issues. Natalie ain’t safe and the packs are under fire from the vamps. What more could go wrong?

Oh wait there’s more but you have to read it to find out. I love Axel is changing and ruby and Xavier are growing closer. Love this series
