Publisher's summary

Nineteen years ago…

...a mother and her baby died during childbirth.

But two minutes later, that baby came back to life.

A miracle, according to everyone involved. However, that child grew up to hate her life because it’s been nothing but a trip through hell. Yes, you guessed it. I’m that child, Ruby Saunders.

The truth is, at birth my fate was sealed. I was saved by a God, chosen to be a vessel used to save a dying world.

I didn’t ask for any of this.

Now, after meeting my father, the truth about my birth and my power is finally revealed.

I was saved by a god at birth…given divinity to spare my life. But…why? Still, the end of the world is upon us as the vampire threat grows stronger...and I fear it won’t be a pleasant end.

I’m living on borrowed time and...

I fear the life that was spared so many years ago will have to be repaid.

Not an average PR

The story is good, very catching and exciting. The narration is excellent. I found the ending/climax of the story very similar to this author’s other series Bloodmoon Wars. Like that series there’s no smut/sex scenes…in fact, sadly, there’s only a couple of kisses in this entire ROMANCE series which was disappointing for me. At least there was cursing this time. The only other gripe I have is that the first books were very short, clearly split up at cliffhanger scenes to make more money than what was probably more like a 2-3book series. But I enjoyed the story and characters enough to get caught in that trap so…well done I guess.

A bright light in the dark

I’m glad Ruby, Axle, and Xavier all got there happily ever after. I was going to be pissed off if the goddess took her life without them having babies, lol . This was a great series and I’m looking for more Sarah snow books to read you have a fan for life!

Brilliant series

Very well written, I read the whole series, all 5 books in a week! Meg Price is a great narrator too, lovely voice to listen to, and very distinct accents and tones for different characters. Would recommend to any YA werewolf romance lover!

Wow!

What an ending to a great series. Ruby was a bit on the whiny side at times but overall the story was excellent.

review

This book needs to be read\listened to in order. As I did not read Books one to four, I found Book five did not make an effort to build up any drama. Defiantly not a stand alone book.
As Ruby is the hero, I found her character lacking and rather a bore. Xavier and Axel were unusual Alpha's, no personality and no chemistry of a mate bond.
The story was okay and the narration was good.
I was given this audio book free, in exchange for an honest review.

Nice story, ending improbable

Ok, so all this power mixed with impeding helplessness. And what about Axel? A second mate who is nearly a side character, not very probable. And then a Goddess, who changes her mind, plus not sure whether the heroine has a complete relationship with the “side” mate, the first one saying he’d accept the other mate but starts bickering when confronted with the other staying longer at the very end?!
Hell, no. A real shame because l’ve loved the world & story, even though I’ve felt robbed of 2 credits due to the shortness of the first 3 installments.

Narration? Simply great, the only thing that had me listen thru… ok with some skipping where the development had dragged forever
