Never play bedroom games with Santa...!

Weston bloody Kincaid
The rick prick who wore £7000 suits like he was doing them a favor.
When he wasn't filling out his doctor's scrubs like they were tailormade for him.
Exactly the kind of a'hole who needed to be taken down a notch.
Definitely not the kind you want to spend an extended period of time with.
Absolutely not stuck with him in a remote cabin, during the holiday season.
Totally completely not snowed in together over Christmas... help!
He's arrogant, obnoxious, over the top cruel... ugh!
He's also swoony, and so hot. Omigod!
No, I really don't like him, not one bit *cough*
Especially not that panty-melting smirk of his that drives me a bit bonkers.
I'd arrived at the cabin to take a break from my career as a pastry chef.
He came to recover from an accident.
Double booked, imagine that! *thank YOU God*
No, wait, I spoke too soon.
I loathe his grumpy disposition.
He hates my guts.
I love baking.
The man abhors desserts. WTF?
Forced to share a bedroom *gulp* we barely tolerate each other.
Then the electricity in town is disrupted.
By candlelight, the antagonism between us crackles even brighter.
It's him, me, and a whole lotta chocolate cake I'd baked to get me through the festive season.
Things go steadily downhill.
Until he dares me...

This is Weston and Amelie's story. An enemies to lovers, holiday Christmas romance featuring a grumpy, possessive, billionaire doctor and the curvy woman who challenges him to take a chance on love! 1-Click NOW.

I’ve enjoyed each of the books in this series, but this is my favorite. I fell in love with Weston and Amelie because, despite their issues, they were both fun-loving and full of life. Between the two of them, they share a sense of humor and are able to laugh and tease one another. Sometimes these alphas are just so serious, which to me, is definitely a turn-off. I’m not saying Weston isn’t serious because he is, but in the face of Amelie’s exuberance and silliness, he doesn’t stand a chance. She weasels her way into his heart despite his best efforts to prevent it. Whether it’s using desserts as swear words or just sharing her silly random thoughts with him, Amelie slowly chips away at the walls Weston has built around his heart, and yes, the fact that he’s a heart surgeon is not unimportant. After a lot of fits and starts, Wes finally figures out what his heart is telling him and becomes quite the romantic.

I liked the banter between the various characters, but particularly between Wes and Damian and Arpad. I was surprised how often he turned to Damian for help. Damian was unexpectedly emotionally intelligent and had good advice for Wes. The Seven like to pretend that they don’t care about one another, but their actions suggest otherwise. It’s fun getting to know these characters better through each of these books. It looks like Damian is going to be the next one to fall.

There’s something about this particular story, something I can’t quite put my finger on, that makes these characters seem more real and more relatable. It’s not that I haven’t cared about the others, but I care more about Wes and Amelie. Although Wes does some stupid, self-destructive, and hurtful things, he doesn’t play games like Sin and Saint did. He doesn’t try to hide anything else going on in his life, he’s not screwing around with anyone else, and he doesn’t manipulate Amelie any more than he is fooling himself. His relationship with his family, and particularly with his nieces, makes him a much more likable character, and his sister helps to shed light on his issues. I guess what I’m saying is that there is a good person buried underneath the alphahole facade that he wears, and it is easier to see than it has been in some of the other Seven.

Also, as I try to process why I like Wes so much better than Sin and Saint, I think it’s this. I hoped for Saint and Summer and Saint and Victoria to find their HEAs because the guys were jerks and the girls deserved guys who were no longer jerks. Wes is a jerk, yes, but he is also considerate. He’ll never force himself on Amelie, ensuring he always has her consent before proceeding. Even when he’s “commanding” she do something, there’s always a sense that she can say no. That’s not always clear with Sin and Saint. Ultimately, Wes is in tune with what Amelie needs and that overrides his own desires, but she also intuitively knows what he needs and makes sure he gets it. They’re on more equal footing than some of the other couples and I find that much more appealing. (I edited this book, but I would love it even if I hadn’t.)

Ok - seriously what a fun read! If you have not ran across and started reading the Big Bad Billionaires series, start here or go back to the beginning. I enjoyed both characters and all the supporting cast - I laughed and cried along with Amelie and Weston. And just dang Laxmi wrote Weston and described his handsome alphalicious self, where you understood how Amelie felt. A fun hot steamy funny read. I cannot wait for the rest of the series.

I was given an advanced readers copy for an honest review.

5 star review The Billionaire's Christmas Bride (Big Bad Billionaires #3) by L. Steele

AUDIO REVIEW:

L. Steele is a new author to me as was narrator Roxy Isles although I have listened to numerous books narrated by Shane East whom I could listen to all day every day.
I haven’t read or listened to the previous books in the series but had no trouble listening to this as a stand alone. Weston Kincaid is a typical billionaire, he’s an alpha, arrogant, demanding doctor who knows what he wants and has no hesitation in going after it. Amelie is a pastry chef, she is Then the electricity is disrupted.
Both are horrified to learn that they have each been told that they cold use the cabin for the holidays, The only problem neither were expecting to have company. The sparks fly between these two and not necessarily in a good way. This is an enemies to lovers story centred around my most favourite holiday, Christmas
There were moments that had me laughing out loud, swooning and grinning like a lunatic. The narration was good and both narrators did justice to the characters and the emotions that both characters go though as the story progressed.

The chemistry between them sizzles as they come to terms with the feelings that they bring out in one another. The banter between them is witty and the performance by both narrators were entertaining.

Spoilers

.....I have no idea what I just read. She puts his wanker in a moist warm pie then demands for the girl to have sex with a wine bottle. I’m extremely uncomfortable and disturbed. This was my first book from this author and I’ll not be considering reading anything else. Would give it a 0 star rating.

I hated this book. The plot is rubbish, the characters don't behave rationally (even allowing for the sexual attraction between them); the depiction of England and Englishness is wrong. The "hero" is rude and controlling. The "heroine" seems to be happy to prostitute herself.

And they are so disorganised - they don't seem to eat properly; she never unpacks; they have so much sex involving food that never gets cleaned up. She pours milk on him in bed - that is going to stink.

And who leaves a patisserie business several days before Christmas?

And what heart surgeon does all that sexy stuff with a broken finger on his dominant hand?

And why do they never call the police after the several break-ins / vandalism?

WOWOWOWOWOW!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS MORE THAN 5*.

I honestly can't believe how L.Steele makes these books so Amazing. After Saint I didnt think there could be a better Alphahole out there. Then Weston walked into my life and blew me away.

Weston and Amelias Christmas Story is a knockout.

They are both double booked in Saints Cabin. Can they handle being that close to each other.

So many hot steamy and emotional and Action Packed Scenes.

Expect the unexpected!!

I honestly didn't want to put the book down!!!!
I cant wait to see what she brings us next!!!!

This book was not for me. I love steamy romance and the hotter the better, but no much makes sense in this one. The sex is into kinks I don’t get. The female character has no backbone or logic. I disliked her even more than the male character who is obnoxious. The book is ok (I guess) but just really not for me. There is a also subplot that leads nowhere.

This is Weston and Amelie's highly anticipated story and it does not disappoint!!!
The Billionaire's Christmas Bride can be read as a stand alone book, but I would recommend reading it as part of the series, as you get more info and the ongoing story lines.

Amelie has been promised by Saint to be able to use the 7's hide away bungalow over Christmas and New Year to de stress after a few gruelling months of setting up her business as a pastry chef. She also recently got dumped.
Dr. Weston Kincaid, one of the 7, is recovering after an alleged attack on his life, a car crash, where he injured his finger. He decides to use the property in the middle of nowhere to spend some time alone, only having Max, Sinner & Summer's dog, for company.
Neither is aware that Saint set them up...
Immediately the chemistry between them is boiling over! Neither of them willing to vacate the property, they strike a deal. As you do, with the 7...
Hot and extremely steamy scenes throughout and a lot of food references, well, Amelie is a pastry chef after all.
Weston is by far the most kinkiest character of the 7, so far. He ist just an Alphahole as the rest of the 7, but there's something different about him. To Weston , family is everything, let it be reading Harry Potter to his niece or babysitting them. He even takes Amelie to meet his family, well, the reason for that shall be quickly revealed.
Having read Sinner and Saint's stories already, Weston can be just as demanding as the 2, but you've always the feeling, he leaves Amelie a way out, a final chance tom say No. He's not as dark as them in that respect.
Amelie on the other hand is just as fierce and stands up to Weston at every possibility given.
Having trust issues herself and not the happiest of an upbringing, she realises quite late what Weston means to her, while Weston catches on quicker, yet has trouble acknowledging his feelings towards Amelie.
A highlight is the great banter between all the characters throughout the book! In particular when Weston videocalls Damian, Arpad and Edward, hilarious, they act just like boys, so funny, it has you in stitches. While they are all bound by the "incident", they are all still rivals and love to take on betting each others, taking the poor sod that is just about to fall in love no choice than to be their entertainment.
Weston & Amelie's story is an absolute masterpiece and the best work by L. Steele so far. I highly recommend this book, but be warned, do not read this book on an empty stomach as you will be craving food, in particular, any type of chocolate concoctions, fruit and apple pie!!!

Independent, self-confident, sassy and in control of her life Amelia had her aims but also money problems and when Weston Kincaid, tasty like chocolate sauce, tempted her in more ways that she could count, she was lost. Desire, hunger and lust for the man were consuming her. But what seemed a delicious gain although an easy one, became a struggle with a man that was turning her upside down (and other positions too), affected by a nightmare that limited his and her choices and could not make his mind. The ‘incident’ was still harming Weston, danger was lurking in the dark, his emotions were confusing him and taking charge and for worse, danger was upon them. Interesting, amusing scenes, bickering, some suspense and violence, strong emotions, supporting characters, a lovely pet and heated kinky passion. Intriguing how the Seven are dealing with different emotional charges.

The Billionaire's Christmas Bride (Big Bad Billionaires #3) is a spectacular Christmas holidays read, with a perfect plot for year round reread. I absolutely fell in love with Amelie and Weston's romance. Perfection drizzling through the pages from the first word till the very end. I absolutely love all the characters in this series, but these two are my favourite couple. The super cute banter between Amelie and Weston kept a smile on my face. So many scrumptious ingredients were mixed together to create a perfect balance between sweetness and spicy moments. I couldn't put my kindle down as I needed to know what was going to happen next. I absolutely loved the confectionery list at the end of the book. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next book in this unforgettable highly entertaining series. I absolutely recommend reading this novel and every novel in this series.

A romance with a dominant alpha-hole and the one woman that may just break him. Weston is one of the Seven. They are seven friends that share terrible past that has brought them closer than even brothers. But each is an alpha and also a millionaire. They made their way into the world and will dominate all. Weston seems to have a personality that constantly contradicts itself. One minute he is cuddling a puppy and the next he is ready to beat someone. Amelia is friends with some of the spouses of the seven and it seems that those that are happily married want to play matchmaker. The story will take you on a whirlwind ride of emotions and it does get pretty damn hot at times.

No, no, no, no, and no. Absolutely there are spoilers down a few paragraphs.

What. The. Eff. Did I just read?! Just. No. So much no. Where do I even begin?

This is my fourth (and definitely final) book by the author. I downloaded four Christmas books on KU and actually removed one, because it was a box set of three books. Hard pass! I downloaded a 5th book as it was a continuation of the 2nd book, making this the 4th read book.

The books with their ratings:
-Book 1: The Christmas One Night Stand (3 stars)
-Book 2: A Very Mafia Christmas (2 stars)
-Book 3: Mafia Crown (1 *reluctant* star)
-Returned unread: Holiday Hotness (F that!)
-Book 4 (this one): The Billionaire's Christmas Bride (1 *reluctant* star)

Questions to ask yourself...
1. Do you like when an author creates an entire world and you get to learn all the characters in each book? Because I do!
2. Do you like when all the characters are amazing and well written and are so different, but work so well together? Me too!

This author does not do that! At all! I would like to thank authors Claire Kingsley, Megan March, Lucy Score, and plenty of others that I have read who are able to create these worlds that I love with characters that have distinct personalities and are not all blubbering idiots.
This author, L. Steele, also apparently does not have an editor or someone who proofreads her books before she publishes because I do not understand how published books can have so many freaking typos and completely missing words and overall jacked up sentences! I'd like to say it was just this book, but it's not. It's all four books! Every single one of them had typos up the yin yang In the form of missing words and incomplete sentences (one ended with a comma and an = sign! Are you serious?! And they all have inconsistencies and don't resolve anything! Hello break-ins for this book! Wanna wrap that up for me?

I digress. Let me get back to this book. I still don't even know where to start. I will try to start at the beginning... Maybe. I need another tangent first. The first three books got progressively lower scores because they were all the same. The dominant male and the submissive and very weak female. None of these women have backbones. And the men are exactly the same. I literally feel like I can find copy paste versions of scenes in the first three books I read. The guy is a moody jackass in all the books and the women continually take their verbal abuse and think they're going to change him. Obviously, it is a happily ever after book, though I would never want to be with any of these guys so they're not a true book boyfriend to me. I really don't understand how her books have ratings and the fours. They're all the same. And the book blurbs?! They're either straight up wrong and opposite of the book or they're misleading. This book - he's recovering from an accident... So I'm my mind, I'm thinking broken bones or major bodily injury, right? Nope. He has a splint on his right hand - middle finger. Though it doesn't seem to factor in any of their sexscapades.

Ok, back to the book again. After reading the first three back to back and becoming more and more disappointed in them, I started this book hoping for the best and actually it seemed to go okay. Until 11% into the book when she calls him a chauvinist and he calls her a submissive and himself a dominant And she gets all offended. Whatever. It did not flow, at all. And that is when I enter the groaned that this book was going to suck. However, it wasn't terrible until later. And it actually had potential for a 3 star book (if not counting the typos/inconsistencies/etc) and then I got to the 71% point and the book took a nose dive and didn't redeem itself. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Back at this little cabin, she's under the impression they're snowed in under the roads are closed so she can't go anywhere and is stuck there with him. Except they come to the agreements that he will pay her a million dollars a day to cook his meals and clean the house while they are there for the week since he is injured, but no sex. If there's sex, the deal is off. What? This book is so dumb. I've said that in the other reviews too. And I've said before I am not one to DNF a book. But I really wish I was still!! The house loses power at one point and someone breaks into the little shed out back and destroys all Wes's clocks out there. Still don't know who did it, though Weston says they have cameras all over and that he'd look into it. Except the power was out and he never does. What the heck? They just assume it was the mafia. Okay. So then it turns out that They never actually lost power. Wes talked with his buddies and cut the power to the house. And then he turned it on into the kitchen only so she could bake. And then the whole house eventually got power and he told her that it was all him pulling strings. I'm sorry, but what self-respecting woman would put up with that crap?! No.

He also puts into the agreement that she's going to accompany him to his family's Christmas. So she finally sees him in a suit down the road. And she doesn't see him in scrubs until almost the end of the book. Yet the book blurb is saying how amazing he looks in both of them. B****, please! You didn't know how he looked in both of them until the very end!

Okay so ignoring all that and their immaturity all around, yes, Wes was kidnapped when he was a boy and is one of the seven who was kidnapped, and they're all close together because of their experience, but that doesn't give them a good excuse to be so immature. I just can't deal with them. Sigh. Such a disappointing book.

At one point while they were at the cabin, he's talking about peeing on her or having her pee on him as a marking your territory type thing. Are you freaking kidding me?? No, that's gross. That is not sexy and not something I want to read. That is disgusting. And they make out a little bit and turn each other on just by a glance at each other, whatever, I don't do this insta love BS, But really, her upper lip sweats? She has sweat going down her face, so does he, and it drips on each other when they're barely even doing anything other than making out even? What is it, 100° in the house?! I am all about bedtime shenanigans and having fun and working up a sweat. But that doesn't happen from some making out. Sorry, not sorry.

So naturally the guy is an idiot, just like the three guys in the books prior, and he turns her away cuz he's a scaredy pants. When he goes back to her around the 70% mark, she's made a couple of apple pies but isn't home. His natural first instinct is to recreate the scene from American pie and F the pie. Again, what the eff did I just read?! So she walks in and catches him with his dick in the pie. And eventually he actually does come in the pie in front of her. No. No. No. And to make it worse, he tells her to screw the wine bottle she's holding and she does!! An open, and full, wine bottle. What. The. Heck?! There is nothing attractive about this. And then he takes some of the pie and puts it on her lady bits. You know, so he can eat it off. Again, no. Of course they make a big mess, because he doesn't clean himself off after cumming in said pie, no. That would make sense. Instead, he ends up screwing her with apple pie in her hoo ha and ass as he takes her during anal sex. I wanted to throw up. And I didn't even read the section very closely because it was just that disturbing. But yes, let's screw pies and wine bottles instead of each other. Because that makes for a good story... Said no normal person ever. And then let's screw each other and see what kind of infections we can get by having food where it does not belong. What the hell?

So I was traumatized from that because it was horrible. And that was after talking about peeing on her, which no, they didn't do that, but just talking about it at all was gross.

So he likes to be an ass and screw her and then leave or make her leave. And at one point he decided to let her do the lead. But this was after he'd already broken her heart and he was and was a jerk. So she brings out the milk and pours milk all over him, because apparently that sexy now too? Hint: no, it's not. But she puts that on him and then she pulls out some jello and licks her fingers or something or has him lick her fingers and then she leaves him high and dry. His first instinct is that he needs to relieve his frustration. And he looks to the jello to screw the jello like he did the apple pie. What normal human would think that?? And then he decides, no, the jello would just fall apart. So he looks at a peach. Seriously? Yep. That's what's in the book! And then he decided he's much too big for the peach so he looks at a watermelon. But then he wonders if he screws a watermelon, would he be cheating on the girl? What kind of f**ked up person wants to screw a watermelon in the first place??

So no. This book would be negative 20 stars if I could give them negative 20 stars. I have no idea how so many people think that this is a good book. It actually had a lot of potential and it wasn't as copy paste as the other books, but those scenes, heck no!

And then there's his niece, Phoenix. Don't really know how old Phoenix is. But when Amelie meets her, she seems to be like a toddler. Not able to really talk properly calls music blocks, "moooosic bo-k-ssss" and uncle Wes is "Unca Wezz"... So I'm thinking maybe 2ish with an imaginary friend. But then has no issues with asking, "why is auntie Amelie crying?" And "can I do my homework too?" The author is so inconsistent with the kid.

So the last big thing is several parts of unresolved issues.... Other than "the Mafia".
1. Somebody broke into Amelie's bakery. But nobody knows who.
2. Of course there was the shed incident at the cabin.
3. The guy from the bakery break-in broke into her apartment as well but got away when Wes attacked him with an egg timer that grazed the attacker's head. Wes was surprised he was still standing. Huh?It's an egg timer. It's not that big. It doesn't do that much damage. You are a special kind of person. And this was not the first time I thought that about him. And after the guy is gone, Wes tells her never to do that again otherwise he will screw her up one side and down the other. I'm sorry, what? It's not like she asked to have her place broken into and be held at knife point.

The whole book just ended up being terrible. I would say the worst of all of them. Oh, and she tied him up just like the girl did in book three! So really, it was a copy paste of scenes with slight variations. But when I read stuff about a whole world of characters, I need them to be different. Because the same stuff gets boring, repetitive, and uninteresting.

confusing

First of all how those two fell in love with each other in less than a week and got engaged is beyond me. I am confused about the whole plot, the mental stability of the characters, and the development of their relationship. He doesn’t want her at the cabin with him but offers to pay her for each night she stays, and here is the catch they can’t have sex. If that wasn’t confusing enough out of nowhere he wants her to go to his family’s house for Christmas dinner to pretend to be his who knows what. Not to worry she is just as confusing if not more. This whole book was pretty much push and PUSH, there was no pull or I must have missed it amidst rolling my eyes. Long story short if you don’t care about the story, the development of characters, and their relationship, and you’re only tuning in for the sex scenes this is for you, if not you might want to look elsewhere.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for forced proximity! What do you do when a sweet baker and a grumpy doctor have dibs on a cabin at the same time? Well, you have lots of smexy times, of course. Pie and wine, anyone?

💕 Do you want a bossy alphahole who fights his feelings when it’s obvious to everyone around him? Don’t worry, he doesn’t have that much emotional baggage.

💕 Do you want a sweet and strong heroine who owns her feelings and her love of baking?

💕 This book is a standalone, and the prior knowledge you need to know is covered in the book so if you just want to read this one, you can!

Insanely Addicting

My congratulations to the author L Steele on another amazing book about the 7. This one is Amelie and Weston, what happens when you see an alphahole naked? You lose all sense of being. For Amelie her baking is her passion, she’s sassy smart fun everything the Doc isn’t. But you need to balance life and he’s to stubborn. You can’t help to to become part of the book. You won’t be able to put it down. I suggest that you read them in order to get a better understanding of the 7 and their love interest.

I love rom-coms and I am definitely not a prude. I love the hot and heavy content as much as the next person but even for me these books surpassed expectation, in the most turn me green and heave in disgust kind of way. I made it three books into the series before I gave up and decided that they just weren't for me. I can see that a lot of people really enjoyed these books, and I am not about it dis their enjoyment of it. It is the usual case of someone will enjoy it while someone else won't. I fell into the latter category. The actual plot and story I did find interesting, and I wanted to know more about the sevens past and why the hell they acted like the most chauvinist assholes to ever grace the page. (Probably not true, there are plenty of assholes in books but for me these guys really take the cake.)

I thought the male leads were overbearing, disrespectful, and just downright appalling in their behavior. Behavior that never seemed to cease and their actions, not even the sexual ones could bring the characters out of the 'I hate you' box I had stored them in (which again, each to their own.) They really seemed to believe that their man downstairs was apparently every womans dream to choke down. Some of the sexual situations made me incredibly uncomfortable because they were so freaking weird. (Well weird to me - all the power to you if that is what you like) Now this might be a personal preference coming into it here, but I feel like I am sitting in shock, while thinking, fuck do people really want to stuff pie up their ass for a good time? (Actual pie - apple pie to be precise)

The Billionaire's Christmas Bride (Big Bad Billionaires, #3) has really ruined fruit for me, I hope that I can remove those images from my mind as soon as possible because while, (again each to their own) that sure as hell doesn't personally get my blood pumping. And the pie. The fucking pie, that went from worse to fucking horrifying. I don't know how the heroine didn't spend her time throwing up after that. And I am very surprised that these characters don't spend more time with infections.

Honestly, I am not sure I can even find any positives past the what the fuck just happened that seems to be rolling around in my mind. I don't even know how I managed to finish the third book; I didn't love how the lead male was treating his lady, and it got fucking weird. Wine bottles too, those are going to get some odd stares for a while. 'Dry-heaves'

I don't think that you shouldn't give it a go if you are curious about it because I do think that just because this is how I feel about it, it doesn't mean that is how you are going to feel about it.

Having seen two of the seven bite the dust (or fall in love and get married) in quick succession, Weston decides he needs a break from all of the nonsense surrounding him. It doesn’t help that the mafia recently tried to kill him by running his car off the road and broke his finger in the process. It takes all ten of his fingers for his job as a heart surgeon. So, he goes to the 7’s cabin in the woods for Christmas for a break. They’ve all promised him he can be there alone.

After Amelie’s bakery is broken into, she decides that she, too, needs a break. Gathering up all her baking supplies and packing some essentials, she heads out to the 7’s cabin, where she’s been assured she’ll be alone.

Their friends have decided they’ll make a great couple and have decided on the ultimate setup. Two people, alone in a beautiful cabin, in the woods, away from civilization. They friends have all seen their chemistry, so now they’re all hoping Mother Nature will take its course.

None of them counted on Weston’s absolute, total, complete fear of commitment. It’s so strong he offers Amelie one million pounds a day not to have sex with him. Well, you can imagine how that works out. Still doesn’t matter, though. That fear of commitment is absolute.

I liked this book better than the first two of the series. Definitely better than Saint’s book. Yes, Weston is absolutely dominant. Amelie’s not completely submissive though. There’s give and take here, and you’d have to be strong to stand up to some of Weston’s nonsense and to take him back time after time after time. While there are notes of the mafia issues that occurred in Saint’s book, they aren’t glaringly obvious. They don’t overpower the book. Yes, Weston’s past is definitely an issue here, but it’s his past memories causing him problems, and not an overwhelming amount of things in the present that is the main issue in the story. Here, Weston and Amelie are the story. And it’s a great story.

A definite must read series for anyone who knows that there is always a great woman that can change the heart of a dominant alpha male.

Dr Weston Kincaid and Amelie, A baker end up at the 7's cabin during the Christmas holidays. By accident, or on purpose? This leads to an interesting proposition which may or may not work out for either one of them. He doesn't want her to stay and she does not want to leave. However, he uses this to his advantage. He will let her stay as long as she does what he wants and she has to play his fake girlfriend for the holidays with his family. He thinks he can solve everything with money but that backfires on him.

When he finds out that her bakery was broken into he gets possessive. Then the cabin gets broken into and the 7, thinks it's is the mafia. At Christmas dinner with his family, his mother almost dies and they find out she was poisoned. And with the help of the 7, his family, and the homeless man that quotes Byron, he finally admits to himself he can't live without her and proposes to her.

But, who is that homeless man that the 7 always run into making them think about their future's? I think it might just be Baron keeping an eye out for them. But they don't recognize him. But then, they haven't seen him for years. They only keep in touch by snail mail.

It is a must read series. And I know you will love it. I know I do.

Five stars from me.

A riveting read that I thoroughly enjoyed, great characters and a wonderful scenario you’ll enjoy thoroughly

Weston Kincaid is a billionaire and is one of the seven and like the others he has gone through more than you can possibly imagine, I guarantee that you will love every moment of this simply wonderful book. He is a billionaire like the rest in the rest of the group and also has a similar opinion even though he is a doctor and it is more often than not his well fitted behind in his medical scrubs as though they had been made especially for him.
He is arrogant and is cruel and as you read about him and some of the things, he gets up to it is obvious that it is easy to dislike him immensely as you read more and more about him and you learn more and more about him and I am sure that others will feel the same as me.
It was interesting to read about him being snowed in and had to accept that he was going to be captured in the snow bound hut for the duration of the snow storm and it had to be said that the tension between the two of them had left him with his hackles raised. However, over the time their dislike and annoyance began to change and Amelie and Weston found their feelings changing.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Weston has redeemed the series

* Billionaire Romance
* Forced Proximity
* Enemies to Lovers
* Grumpy/Sunshine

Audiobook review: Narrated by Shane East and Roxy Isles

4 stars for story
4.5 stars for performance

This third book in the series is my favorite so far. Weston has intrigued me from the beginning of the series as has Amelie. Weston is by far my favorite of The Seven (although there is a high probability he could be dethroned). He is as alpha as the others, but unlike Sin, and especially Saint, he has more redeemable personality traits that make him just a touch more lovable. Don't get me wrong...he's still a grumpy alphahole...he just does it better. I love the witty banter between the two and the circumstances of their forced proximity makes for some very entertaining scenes. As always, the spice is super hot and so worth the read.

The narration is on point. Shane East is amazing as always but as much as I love listening to him, it's hard to differentiate the characters if binge reading the series as he has narrated all the MMCs so far. I'll be picking up the next in the series after a bit of a break. I'll have to reset my Shane East ears. Roxy is a fresh female voice and did an amazing job. I especially appreciated the narration when it came to the banter of this story as it made these conversations so much more fun.

I have loved both Sinner's and Saint's stories and after the ending of Saint's, I could not wait to get my hands on this one. We got a taste of the fire between Amelie and Weston before, but it is only the tip of the iceberg.

The set up is perfect- the 7's "cabin" is double booked - Weston has claimed it for the holidays to heal his hand and Saint said Amelie could use it as well. Their meeting is a scorcher. There is no way to deny the chemistry between them. The problem is they both pull and repel each other. What happens when another person changes you? Are you still yourself? Are you something less or something more? Both are worried by what their attraction means. That part of the story tugged at me.

The dialogue was off the chart! Amelie swears with deserts and Weston can turn anything into an innuendo.

The rest of the 7 make an appearance like in Saint's story to help Weston. He runs so hot and cold, I was getting whiplash along with Amelie. Never fear, there is a happy ending in their future. We also find out who the next alpha-hole who is going to fall - Damian!

I am super curious about the homeless people who keep showing up in the stories.

I received an advanced copy of this story for an honest review.

In a word? DELICIOUS!!!

This book was such a great read that I stayed up for 48hrs reading till it was finished. It does have its aggregating moments with the constant back and forth of first Weston not making up his mind of if he wants to keep what he considers his and Amelie who just kept taking his crap and then decides it’s her turn to do the same. And he took way too long to share his kidnapping with her. Although I can understand how hard it is to share a trauma quite like his. Big macho man that he is. 😩😫

I loved the chemistry the two of them had from day 1 and the x-rated scenes were so hot you could feel it off the pages. Prepare yourself ladies, this one is so hot you catch yourself fanning and asking where is your alpha-hole 😂😂

Overall a fantastic book that was just the right length. And introduce the next two MC’s as they meet. I would have loved to see their wedding and babies in this book rather than in the next instalment though. Weston would make the best daddy ever!! 🥰🥰. I highly recommend this series.

This author is going to be my new favourite. 😁😁

Weston is a grumpy heart surgeon who goes up to his cabin, that he owns with his friends, to try and recover from a car accident in peace and quiet over the holidays. Amelie is a baker, with a sunshine attitude, who asks her friend Saint who also owns the cabin, if she can use it to over the holidays to get away and work on some new recopies over the holidays. Unbeknownst to both of them Saint has decided to try and play matchmaker and not tell either of them that the other will be there...
I wasn't sure it was possible but I think this book was 3/4 made up of steamy bedroom scenes and 1/4 story. What there was of a story line was rather enjoyable and entertaining.

Although this is mentioned to be a stand alone I suggest it be read in order with the other books in the series since it mentions and includes the other characters from previous books and with out having read other books you wont have the back ground to know who they are and their significance.

As always Shane East Shane and Roxy Isles did an amazing job on the narration.

I was given an ACL to listen to and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I think I say this every book, that this alpha is my favorite, however! I truly think Weston is my number one.
There is something about this man that is just downright amazing. Sinful and still an alphah*le, but he's amazing. I love the dynamic between Weston and Amelie. She's a pastry chef who struggles with body image issues and things that I think most females can relate to. Weston is a hot doctor who could pose for the cover of Medical GQ (if there was such a thing). They couldn't be more different, yet they work. Their banter is off the charts (seriously, best one-liners EVER!) and there are so many moments in this story, where I just melt. Yes, Weston is dominate, but also there are moments of just such sweetness that I can't get enough of these two. And I'm not talking about the yummy desserts listed in this book. Although, those are a nice bonus.
I urge everyone to read this book! It's amazing!
Just make sure you have plenty of coffee and cake (or maybe an apple pie and wine) when you do ;)

I was so looking forward to reading Weston's story as something has pulled me in wanting to get to know him based on his actions and character in the previous books of this series, needless to say I was not disappointed and actually surprised by him. The Billionaires Christmas Bride was fun, super steamy, mysterious, angsty and I will never look at chocolate or apple pie as just desserts ever again. Weston and Amelie have a wonderful connection and once Weston gets over his need to be alphaholish all the time and allows himself to open up to Amelie they quickly find themselves on the path to an HEA. I loved the story it is engaging and once you start reading it's impossible to stop. I can't wait to read Damian's story next, this series is amazing and although each book can be read as a stand alone I highly recommend starting at the beginning so you have a better understanding of each characters past as well as seeing them pop into each other's stories. These are over the top alphaholes who have a connected past that was traumatic and that forever ties them together.

Not so much

The story is about a woman who is offered the use of a cabin owned by some friends to decompress during the holidays. When she arrives, one of the co-owners of the cabin is there, and he wants her gone. Baker meets sexy doctor whose past includes a kidnapping when he was twelve and makes him a control freak. It could have been a lot better if her writing didn’t keep pulling me out of the story.

It’s really off-putting when a supposedly strong female character keeps calling herself a smut with an L. Can we quit with the shaming of females that enjoy and initiate sex?

Not sure I will read anything else from her. Which is a bummer, because I’d like to know what happened with the other six, but if her female characters are all about shaming themselves, it’s just not an enjoyable read. Also, for someone who uses baking references to swear, she uses an awful lot of swear words, too. Not sure what the point of the alternate wording was. (Things that don’t make sense and take me out of the story.)

Great story, terrible editing!!

I again love the underlying story, it was so well written, however the editor of proof readers really aren't up to scratch!! There were so many mistakes that should have been picked up instantly!! Just a quick example
Pages 229 and 231
Both pages stated that he leaned back to switch off the shower!!! Hmm not sure how that would work out!! There's several more like that and another that was a little worse, but if I was to start pointing them all out, I'd be here the rest of the night and it's already 4:15am here in England and I'm hoping for a little sleep still!!
These problems though are ones that should have been picked up by any or rather all of Laxmi's team!! But if you can grit your teeth and ignore all the slight issues and just focus on the story, then trust me this is a book worth while reading.
So the burning question....would I recommend, then the answer is definitely. Mind you as per the case with Laxmi's books, if you lean towards being a frigid/prude, then maybe these really aren't the sort of books for you!!
