Rate this book
Never fall for the bad boy ...

Damian "Big D" Savage aka the billionaire rockstar with the killer abs aka...
THE six-foot-three, sculpted-chest, hot as F, macho package,
...who haunts the dreams of half the female populace, ugh!
He's also the kind of obnoxious, arrogant, self-important prick I avoid, in real life.
But that panty melting smirk of his?—OMG! swoon
So I may have stalked his social media accounts, don't judge.
A lowly au-pair like me? I didn't feature on his radar at all...
...Until I run into him at a bar.
What's a girl to do when faced with a 100% potent growly hunk of male like him? gulp
One night shouldn't matter, right?
One amazing, mind blowing, night of nonstop O's. OMFG!
By dawn I knew I was falling for him.
And no way was I going to become another notch on his bed post.
Definitely wasn't going to give in to his lethal charm.
Or hand him the satisfaction of finding out how completely he'd bowled me over.
So I ran away, leaving him with no contact details, nothing.
I went on with my life.
All lies, I mooned over him, but so what?
There can be no future for us, of course not.
Until I get a call to report to my new boss—a gazillionaire who needs a nanny to take care of his child.
Guess who that turns out to be...? I kid you not!
I turn down the job, of course; so he offers me a million pounds.
Cue my complete breakdown
He also commands me to marry him.
Something about proving to his parents that he had turned over a new leaf.
As if?
Then... the Mafia shows up, and everything goes wrong...

This is Damian and ____'s story. An enemies to lovers, single dad fake marriage romance featuring a grumpy, possessive, billionaire rockstar and the sassy nanny who challenges him to take a chance on love! 1-Click NOW

★★NEW RELEASE & GIVEAWAY ★★

It's here, my hottest, most banter filled, most ugly cry book AND my most personal story told to date!

Early reviews say:
"★★★★★Captures your attention right from the very first page to the last."
"★★★★★ I was a goner from the very first moment..."
"★★★★★Took my breath away, what an emotional rollercoaster ride!"
"★★★★Damian made me smile but damn he made me cry... even thinking about it I'm like starting to get all emotional again..."

Read an excerpt
"Let go of me," I demand.
"Make me."
"What?" I narrow my gaze on that sinful-as-fuck face. "You release me right now or else—"
"Or else?" He peels back his lips and his teeth gleam against the tan of his sculpted features. At my silence, he continues, "You were saying—"
"That this is a misunderstanding." I huff. "I am not interested in you."
"Neither am I in you." He widens his stance.
"Doesn’t seem that way from where I am, buster."
"How much control on your anger can you muster?" He tilts his head.
"Just because you think—mistakenly—that you're superior?" I flip my hair over my shoulder.
"I am going to break through your tightly controlled exterior."
"Wait." I gape, "Did you rhyme your words to mine?"
"So did you."
"No, I didn’t."
"Yes, you did." He grins and my stupid heart stutters. It bloody stutters.
He peers down into my face, his blue eyes glittering. "So much sass," he growls. "I wonder how it would be to peel back the mask you wear to the world, to unveil the passion that lurks under the surface, to show you how it could be if the right man were to touch you in your secret places, the ones you think you have hidden away,” his voice lowers to a hush, “but which I can see, feel, touch, suck..."

The writing in this series keeps getting better. I loved Weston and Amelie’s story, but Damian and Julia’s story was just as good and the character arcs may be even more powerful (particularly Damian’s). One of the things I liked about Amelie and Weston was the humor. Though not as humorous, the emotions evoked in this story are significant. It would be tough to read this book and not come away loving these two characters. I even liked some of the Seven better when I read this one because they showed such concern for Damian and I enjoyed their interactions with Julia.

The rest of the gang makes an appearance, which is fun. I have some suspicions about Baron, but it looks like Arpad’s book is coming next. And we got to know Karina a bit better in this book, so that should be interesting. I imagine we’ll learn more about Baron too.

Sometimes I find it difficult to write a review for a book when I’ve been the editor. I hesitate to gush about something when I feel I may have had any kind of influence on it because I don’t want to come across as if I am biased. I don’t think I am being biased when I say this is well-written, well-plotted, and compelling. Characters are multidimensional and relatable. The issues of loss, belonging, forgiveness, and trying to find that special someone are thoughtfully and compassionately addressed. Plus, there is some palpable heat between Damian and Julia from the first time they meet. The build-up of tension between them is carefully crafted, with lots of playful banter, and results in a bigger payout than if they had simply “hooked-up” immediately.

There are some unexpected twists; when I went back to see what I had missed, the hints were all there. Ms. Steele may have a future as a mystery writer, should she ever desire expanding into that genre. Until then, however, I suggest you enjoy her mature romance novels. This is one of my favorites.

Marrying The Billionaire Single Dad (Big Bad Billionaires Book 4) did a number on my heart. I'm still a bit frozen. I love how the author intricately blends little crumbs without giving anything away. Never has a twist effected me the way this one did. This bombshell left me stunned. I love the humor mixed in with serious talks. I love how the female friendships are growing and how the seven have a special bond that ties them all together. Witty banter is weaved within the pages along with angst and romance. The writing is eloquent, with a sound-plot and intriguing. Multidimensional characters who you can put in one's shoes. I'm so excited to read Arpad's story next when available.

Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster this book is!!!

Damian and Julia's story tugs in all the right places.
You'll be laughing, crying, screaming, and be part of what is truly the most emotional story of the 7 so far..

Damian is a Billionaire rockstar who experienced not only being kidnapped alongside his friends, but another personal trauma.
He's a single dad to Riley, who he totally dotes on.
The friendship between the 7 becomes really apparent, they are truly there for each other in every way imaginable.

Julia & Damian are immediately attracted to each other, chemistry overload. Both try to work through their issues and at times you want to throttle them both, have tissues handy! Of course, you can expect plenty of really hot & steamy scenes!!!!

The friendship between the girls is also given a more thorough look.
Previous characters are also making a reappearance,
as expected and will there be more than 1 wedding?
You have to read "Marrying the Billionaire single dad" for yourself. You won't be disappointed, but prepare for heartbreak, Alphahole dominance, and every other emotion in between . You'll be laughing at some hilarious interactions & then cry again.
Truly great storytelling done by L. Steele!

Absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for Arpad & Karina's story, which is set up at the end!!!

Let the waiting begin.... again!

This series could be so much better. The story is brilliant but I’m getting annoyed with all the sex scenes taking over. It’s all the time. I enjoy insta love but 6 days? It’s getting ridiculous. Unfortunately, I’m curious to see the outcome of the actual story. So yes, I’m 4 books in and waiting for the end. But one more thing...the homeless man - these men and women are supposed to be smart and resourceful yet no one can remember when they see him more than once? I see what is taking shape but for me it’s lacking.

If you thought the previous books were hard going, then be prepared for the worse alphahole in L.Steele’s series to date!!

Damian is a self centred, self absorbed dick!! The man drove me crazy within two minutes of reading this book!! His self entitlement drove me nuts! He might be gorgeous, he might make women (and a few men) want to drop and worship him..... But I just wanted to beat him over the head with his own guitar!!! His only saving grace was his love for his daughter. With her he was a different character (and I wanted to spend more time with that man) even the way he was with his friends was better than when he was with Julia.
He might have been a star, but I think he’s hitting a dry patch, he’s not making music at the moment, and Julia brings out the musician in him.

I know the seven (that’s the group of men who are friends) have a close friendship. Being kidnapped by the mafia will have that effect on you. And we do get to spend time with them and their wives. (And those are funny moments)
We have loss that will definitely get you bawling, we have a tragedy that I did not see coming at all!! And we have an alphahole that totally messes it up!!

Julia is a diamond, how she puts up with his train of thought I have noooooo idea! Her internal monologues did have me smiling to myself on more than one occasion.
So can she really see past his big ..... ego!! And work for him?

I loved Riley. She was just such a little sweetie, and you could see why Damian made her his world.
Catching up with past characters from previous books was great too.
You can read them out of order, but why would you, why not grab them all.

This book pulled my heart out, stomped on it, put it in a blender and then poured it back into my empty cavity!! I cried buckets, I laughed until I almost wet myself! I rolled my eyes that many times, I’m surprised they are still in my head!!
You can see the authors love of movies in the books, we have to have our obligatory movie sayings (which I love)
I seriously don’t know how your going to top this one! And I’m not sure my heart can take that much more pounding!!

So would I recommend it? You bet I would. And if you haven’t read the others, then why not?

I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it.

So to start, I love every single book this amazing author comes out with. I often change allegiances with each new story, because each character and story is just so dang good. That being said, Damian became more than just a "new' favorite. He is a favorite that will have that spot for a long time. I often curse at the male leads in these stories (because hi, they deserve when they're being stubborn) but Damian...... he was the first one that I didn't.
This story made me cry. And I often say "this made me cry" but I usually mean, I had tears in my eyes or my heart hurt for the characters. However, when I say that Damian made me cry, I mean he actually made me cry. Multiple times. Sometimes I couldn't even see the page I was reading.
There is something about Damian that is just.......special. Something about him feels very real and it nestled itself in a little corner of my heart. He made me smile but dang, did he make me cry. There are certain scenes that even just thinking about them, I start to get emotional (hint, bonus scene).
This story was an amazing rollercoaster of a ride. I have a feeling I will be revisiting Damian again and again and again. I highly recommend this entire series, but if you only pick one book out of all of them to read, make it this one.
Julia is Damian's perfect counterpart and her understanding and character traits and love and passion and all of the above make her perfect for Damian. Which makes the ugly cry parts bearable. Because you know she is there and sometimes that's what it took to get me through a scene. Knowing she was there and ready to do what was needed for Damian.

I feel like I could go on and on about how much this story meant to me and how deeply I felt for Damian and Julia and how it's going to be a long time before I get over this book/alphah*le hangover. But I would rather you just trust me and go buy/read the book for yourself.

4 star review Marrying The Billionaire Single Dad by L.Steele

AUDIO REVIEW:

L. Steele is a relatively new author to me as was narrator Roxy Isles although I have listened to numerous books narrated by Shane East whom I could listen to all day, every day.
This is Damian “Big D” Savage, a rock star and nanny Julia’s story and was one that I was drawn into.
The chemistry between them sizzles as they come to terms with the feelings that they bring out in one another. The banter between them at times is witty and the performance by both narrators were entertaining.
There were times that I really did not appreciate how Damian treated Julia and if I had been me, I would have told him where he could put his job and walked out. However it is obvious how much he loves his daughter Riley.
I did like that Julia is not afraid to stand up for herself, she is feisty and sassy. Can Julia help bring Damian back to life? Could she be what he has been looking for without even knowing it?

What an emotional read this was. Damian Savage, Billionaire Rockstar! Book 4 in the series by L.Steele. She definitely did not disappoint her fans with this amazing book. It's such an emotional rollercoaster ride, it will leave you feeling the effects for days after reading. Damian has a secret that he's been hiding from his friends except for Arpad. He meets Julia, Amelie's friend and what an explosive start to their relationship. She is exactly what he needs although he denies his feelings until his friends step in.
Damian will make you hurt and break into a million pieces before he melts your heart. An Amazing book written by an amazing author.

OMG! This was a long time coming but boy just reading the 1st few chapters I had to stop and fan myself, and then start again. Of all the 7, Damian's character is full on, just because he's a devoted single parent does not mean he can't make you sweat under his words. Julia just wants a break she has so much issues that her only way forward is to take the chance with Damain, even though she has doubts she knows that she wants a future that she can look forward to. Am amazed at how Steele can write these characters, as you read them they just come to life. This series of books so needs to be developed into a TV series, ill be defently there to watch that. Cant wait to read about Arpad, that is something to look forward to.

Wow. What a wild ride! This story was nothing like what I expected. The Seven are all domineering and driven and broken in their own way but Damian was most broken of all. This story captivated me and held my attention from start to finish. It also broke my heart. Very twisty, emotional, and sizzling hot (of course). This series keeps getting better (even though Sinner will always hold a special place in my heart), and this book is even better than I could have hoped for. Excellent writing, compelling characters, interesting storylines, and more mystery leading up to what I’m sure will be an incredible ending. I’m nowhere near ready for this series to end, however. Well done!

Not my fav

I’ve really enjoyed the other books in this series but this one was lacking. I kept thinking I’d accidentally skipped a page or two. The story just didn’t resonate with me - felt forced and Damian is just an a-hole. Nothing likeable. I was disappointed.

This is one of my favorite books so far. This story is full of love, sadness, tragedy, lost, passion, intrigue, friendship, a lot of feelings at the same time. There is a moment that you don't know what to think. I laughed, I cried, I felt part of the story. This is the story of Damian (one of the Seven) and Julia. He is a rock star that lost his muse and his career is almost done until he met Julia and his life took a 180 degrees change and she turned his life upside down. Damian story is so deeply sad and emotional that you will want to be there and hug him and make him feel better. But at the same time, his arrogance and alphahole attitude sometimes make you want to slap him.
I loved that this story included all previous characters from Big Bad Billionaires: Sinclair, Father Edward, Arpad, Weston, Saint and Jace (he is a friend, but not one of the Seven). I don't know if I am confused, or maybe lost, but I am pretty sure that Baron, the last of the Seven, is the homeless guy with the super iPhone (He also had an appearance in the Book 3).
I loved the characters, the plot, the way the author make you feel for the characters. Amazing work! I can't wait to read the next book!

OMG! What a brilliant story. I laughed, I cried and I celebrated with the characters in the story. Damian and Julia are made for each other. The things that Damian did to Julia made me want to smack him and teach him how to treat a lady. But that poor man tore my heart open with his story. I was happy when they finally got their acts together and had their HEA. I swear my emotions went from jubilant to devastated in a roller coaster ride, each of these stories I say this is my favourite, but they each have their own sense of extreme emotion in them. To say I’m a fan of this authors work is a forgone conclusion.

I received a free copy of this book and I involuntarily leaving my honest and fair review.

OMG! So many surprises...so many secrets not to mention the devils and demons that are uncovered in this story. I’m blown away. I was so shocked at certain parts completely blown away. Wonderful read. I didn’t like Damian at all in the first few chapters, he made me so angry. And I was even more angry with how Julia let him treat her, it seemed she had no self respect or backbone. Boy was I wrong on both accounts. As Damian was slowly opened up to me I understood him and I understood why he need Julia. Now only if he could realize it as well. I received a free advanced copy to read and review and I loved it!!! 5 hot alphahole stars for this awesome story of Julia and Damian! Read it for yourself peeps. So good.

Loved it!

What a rollercoaster! I love this series and read the first three books all in one go last christmas, so was waiting very impatiently for Damien and Julia's story and it doesn't disappoint. Damien keeps you on your toes as you follow his journey with Julia - and Julia is strong enough to make sure he comes back into the light . I received an ARC so I could leave an honest review but ended up buying a copy to go with the rest of the Alphaholes permanently! I have wait now for Arpad and Katrina's story - Boo !
My only minor issue was the abbreviations used in certain parts of the book - I knew what they were but others may not have a clue.

Wow, this was really intense, hot, and emotional! I seriously did NOT expect that plot twist. Now that I think about it, I wasn't even suspicious of it. I thought everything was real. Man, Laxmi really took me on a roller coaster ride with this one. I wasn't even going to sleep to finish reading this one😂

As much as I got frustrated with Damian, now I understand his reasons for pushing away people who love him. And I am glad that Julia is one hell of a sassy and persistent woman to pull him out of his misery and grief. Their chemistry was so hot and steamy. Their banter had me laughing a lot then I cried for Damian. I loved the Sevens relationship too. Especially Arpad who really help with getting Damian straight. I can't wait for his story next!

I can remember the first book I read by this author. It was then I realized how phenomenal she is and that her books would become an addiction for me. From that point forward I read every book she wrote. This series is just another example of her immense talent. This is the story of Damian and Julia. Let me first say, this is an emotional rollercoaster. There is also humor, especially within the banter between the main characters. Damian fits the title alphahole to every aspect of the word. But I saw a softness toward Julia that touches the heart. This is a book you need to experience. No review or book description can really truly touch the perimeters of this story.

L. Steele has penned another chart-topper!

I’ve never laughed, cried, and gasped so much during a single book before!
This dominant rockstar has a secret, a broken heart, and an obsession for a sassy nanny. The nanny is not only his biggest fan, she’s his only chance to break his writing block. Question is, which one will break first?
Damian and Julia will take you on a roller coaster ride that will leave you breathless! Add the rest of the Seven and their ladies to the mix , and you have another hit in the Billionaire’s series!

Complex and engaging characters, a plot with all the turns you could ask for, and all the heat you can handle!

I received a copy of this book as part of an ARC Program but this is my own opinion.

Marrying The Billionaire Single Dad is the 4th book in the Big Bad Billionaires Series and it does not disappoint. I really loved Weston and Amelia's story, Book 3, and was worried that this one wouldn't live up to that story but boy was I wrong. Damien and Julia's story is so amazing! The twist in the story was unpredicted but you got hints but I wasn't 100% sure which made it even better. I was laughing and crying in this book. I finished within 2 days and didn't want it to end. I can't wait for the next book. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Filled with Angst and Steam

This book was filled with so many emotional moments. It had lots of steamy hot scenes. All the characters were witty, 🔥, and sexy. I especially loved the county road bike scene. I loved Julia sassyness and determination. I also loved that the secondary characters had much to say. Great work Ms. STEELE!

Fell in love with Damian and Jules story

What a complex story arc, but through it all they still came together to belong to each other. I also like how we got a bigger picture of Byron the homeless man. I can’t wait for them to realize he has helped them all. I hope he also will have a story and a HEA. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Very good read

I could really relate to Damian’s grief, having suffered loss myself. No parent should be faced with burying their child. I’m so glad he managed, with the help of Jules, to wade his way through his grief and come out the other side.
The story really touched my heart ❤️

An intense and complex story that gave me a lot to think about the defense mechanisms and how the Sevens have been able to survive 'the experience'. Julia found Damian frustrating, complex, beautiful and at the same time unpleasant and domineering but her need for him kept her from backing down. For Damian, she could be his salvation, but at what cost? Interesting with suspense and lots of intriguing scenes that had me connecting the dots enjoying the twists in the action, the intense emotions, the drama and the passion. As we go, the story of the Father will be spectacular!

Pretty sure I am gonna have one heck of a book hangover after this one!
Seriously, this series gets better with each book. This one was really heavy though and showed an emotional side of the Seven.
As for Damian...well he doesn't disappoint! So much angst and totally ott alpha hole! Julia...she is full of sass and definitely can take him head on!
This book is full of steam and will pull you apart, but it is so worth it!

I enjoyed it. It's a really good and I was happy to read Damian's story. His is more unique than some of the others. More things were going on in his life. His didn't focus as much on wealth. It was more emotional.

This story took me on an emotional ride ! I also enjoyed it and was sad that it ended. I love everything this author writes. This story was so well written. I love Julia and Damian story. I also love when the seven get together. The seven comes off as big, insensitive alpha holes but they are adorable! This story touched my heart. I read this story expecting one thing and it took a turn to something unexpected. I love Damian and his story and so glad he came to his senses when it came down to Julia ! Sad when story ended. Waiting impatiently for Arpad and Karina story!

Another crazy alpha hole

I read all others in the series so I had to read this. Some scenes though trying to be dominated do trigger a bit. The scenes do come across hot. And that is Damians way of love. They do get a happy ending. I do like the extreme descriptions and the characters.. this one just was a little tooo much. But I did like it
