Apparently, they’re all heartless monsters Vampires are outcasts for a reason Now that we know the vampire Queen was behind all the disappearances, the world is being turned upside down. Will SWEARS to me he had no idea what his mother was doing ...but how can I trust him? How am I to believe anything he says to me …after finding out he’s to be married?
I’m hooked. And no one is more surprised than me. This series got off o a bit of a rocky start. Elinor annoyed me quite a bit she seemed very immature at times. And while I knew this was to show growth over the series in my experience it doesn’t always work that way.
But despite my reservations there’s been enough to keep me reading. My main problem is I didn’t check the series was complete. Which means I’m going to be waiting for what I hope will be the last book....
Skye can’t be dead! No, no! She’s not gone! [Elinor]
Sara Snow’s „The Revolution“ is the third installment in the “The Bloodmoon Wars” series, which relates events that will (after the series) eventually lead to Ruby’s story (the FMC of her previous “Luna Rising Series”). This series can be perfectly be enjoyed as a stand-alone series, or even better at any point before or after the ‘Luna Rising Series’, because – seriously - why would someone even want to miss the opportunity to get to know Ruby 😊. But whatever you decide “The Bloodmoon Wars” is a great series all on its own.
Elinor and Will relationship forbidden relationship deepens, it’s in fact the oldest story in the world, they desire the only partner they cannot have, because vampire and werewolves can’t love each other, or can they? But there is still an urgent problem to focus on, humans and supernaturals are disappearing without trace, until Sky (Elinor best friend) is also gone and Elinor struggles to find her alive.
A very well-written book, with relatable characters, an interesting story-arc, and new twists around the werewolf myth and the proverbial werewolf/vampire feud, that are enormously enjoyable, with a fluid and funny written style that makes the story come alive throughout the pages, likeable and captivating characters, an interesting plot and good paced action.
I'm writing this review after having read the whole series and have pasted this to each book in the series.
Generally I really enjoyed this series. There is a lot of action within the scenes and some interesting tropes. You've got your enemies to lovers as well as your friends to lovers. More aimed at NA the romance in here doesnt get protrayed past kissing, however narrates relationships that share beds.
I read once this had a twilight vibe to it and whilst it does.. old vampire, young woman vibe it doesn't really have that much else in common. Firstly I didnt get annoyed by the characters like I did in Twilight. Secondly this didn't have as much cheese in it, thank God. The overal plot is written fairly well and you get a good couple twists to it. It does end on a HEA although not one where everyone is completely in the place they should be for a true HEA. Overal a really good read I'd highly recommend to any NA or YA or anyone that gets sick of explicit intimacy descriptions.
The Revolution, book 3 of the Bloodmoon Wars series, is an ebook I downloaded from Kindle Unlimited.
Curiouser and curiouser--the plot continues to throw in lots of twists and turns to keep readers guessing. I'm loving the politics and race issues, which add a sharp edge of conflict between character groups. I'll anxiously be awaiting book four.
Note: read series in order as each book appears to end in a cliffhanger and next book resumes from the leave-off point.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Picking up right after book 2, this third installment is another captivating and engrossing narrative of Elinor and Will's story, as well as the paranormal community's ongoing struggle for survival against an unknown enemy who targets supernaturals. I'm really hooked in this series and I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment to see what comes next!
This series just gets better with each book!! The untold truths are never ending !!! Fear of betrayal is high in this wonderful world!! The character s are getting better with every page I turn! Can not wait to read what is coming next in this wonderful world next!!
Elinor, Cyrus and one of his brothers go after Skye. They are able to rescue her, but her mother was killed. Elinor gets her powers when the supernatural zombies attack her pack. They figure out the vampire queen is involved.
Oh, Will just keeps digging hisself a bigger hole. Poor Elinore does not know to believe. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Another great read by Sara Snow.
Wonderfully written story filled with intrigue and action. A well thought out plot with excellent characters that develop well. Some good up and downs, twisty plots, keeps you uneven and guessing at that will happen next. I am certain book 4 holds more and will keep readers enamoured.
