I have loved this series so far, book 5 is out next month I believe and can't wait, this only came out Friday lol, such a brilliant story, love the characters as well had me hooked
Sara snow is an amazing author who puts soo much detail into her characters you can imagine how they look and even feel their emotions. The Renaissance is book 4 in the bloodmoon wars series and all I can say is WOW.... We continue to follow Elinor, Skye, Will, Cyrus and friends in their adventure to bring an end to all the bloodshed the vampire queen is bringing on humans and supernaturals alike. With their relationship taboo amongst their kind, its not without its ups and down. Will the secrets being withheld tear them apart or will love overcome everything. One hell of an intense read and i definitely recommend to all readers who love the supernatural.
“The Renaissance“ is the fourth installment in the “The Bloodmoon Wars” series, whose FMC (Elinor) is the mother of Ruby, the lead character in Sara Snow’s previous series “Luna Rising”.
Elinor and Will forbidden relationship seems doomed to fail, after all they are gone through, things have gone overcomplicated beyond belief. The Vampire Queen has been found out and her role in the disappearances is now broadly know….which put a new twist in “the in-laws from hell” trope, but even worse, Will has been hiding some important facts from Elinor, and as she finds out – in the worse possible way. The wedge in their relationship seem insurmountable, but…. hope spring eternal or so they say 😉
A very well-written book, with relatable characters, an interesting story-arc, and new twists around the werewolf myth and the proverbial werewolf/vampire feud, that are enormously enjoyable, with a fluid and funny written style that makes the story come alive throughout the pages, likeable and captivating characters, an interesting plot and good paced action.
“The Bloodmoon Wars” series can perfectly be enjoyed as a stand-alone series, or even better at any point before or after the ‘Luna Rising Series’, because – seriously - why would someone even want to miss the opportunity to get to know Ruby 😊.
I'm writing this review after having read the whole series and have pasted this to each book in the series.
Generally I really enjoyed this series. There is a lot of action within the scenes and some interesting tropes. You've got your enemies to lovers as well as your friends to lovers. More aimed at NA the romance in here doesnt get protrayed past kissing, however narrates relationships that share beds.
I read once this had a twilight vibe to it and whilst it does.. old vampire, young woman vibe it doesn't really have that much else in common. Firstly I didnt get annoyed by the characters like I did in Twilight. Secondly this didn't have as much cheese in it, thank God. The overal plot is written fairly well and you get a good couple twists to it. It does end on a HEA although not one where everyone is completely in the place they should be for a true HEA. Overal a really good read I'd highly recommend to any NA or YA or anyone that gets sick of explicit intimacy descriptions.
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
And she officially has me hooked. There are so many things happening in this series. It keeps you on edge and greedy for more. I don’t think I’ve slept in 2 days because I’ve become obsessed with the characters and need to know what happens next. One thing I love about her writing, we don’t just get the main characters thoughts, or the lovers, we get multiple characters perspective. Definite must read series!
The Renaissance, book 4 of the Bloodmoon Wars series, is an ebook I downloaded from Kindle Unlimited. This is such a great series, I've enjoyed each reveal and plot twist for each book so far. Note: read series in order as each book appears to end in a cliffhanger and next book resumes from the leave-off point.
Another action-packed, thrill-filled, emotionally powerful installment in the Bloodmoon Wars series!!! I won't say more, or I'll make spoilers, but if you've read the previous installments then this is a must read! And if you haven't, it's a great opportunity to grab all books and binge-read them. Personally, I can't wait for the next book!!!
So the vampire Queen was behind all the disappearances after all. Passion ,endless secrets and lots of action. What will happen when the Queen gets killed ? The books in this series just keep getting better. A must read.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait until Elinore gets revenge against Cain for what he did to Will. I am looking forward to reading the next book and see how this story plays out. Sara Snow your an amazing writer.
Elinor trains with the Nephilium Sisters to learn to control her powers. As she is the one supposed to be able to kill the Queen of the vampires. Elinor and her friends fight against the vampires and reanimated supernaturals. Will and his brother fight.
This book had some killer action in it(no pun intended). Now that Elinor knows how to control her powers I can’t wait to read about her kicking some Queen Vampire butt. So what’s up with Darien? Can’t figure that guy out. On to the next book to find out how this ends.
