He's an animal rescue. He rescues a baby seal in the story & then participates in his release back to the wild & his colony. He's resisted women tho' he had many opportunities. He cares for his angry sister & niece even though his relationship is tough

Another good romance from Ms. Brandt. I really enjoy these rescue stories, whether they are human rescues or animal rescues. I learn something from them as well as enjoy the romance. This is Kylie and Justin's story. Kylie is a grad student working in marine biology and Justin is a mammal rescue agent. They cross paths while working to save a seal and things progress from there. Kylie is very determined not to get involved until after she graduates and determines where she will be working. Justin is determined to at least get to know her. Their relationship is good and the child involved is adorable. Really good read!

Fun quick enjoyable read. There were some things that bothered me such as Kylie putting herself in harms way (along with Justin ) by wanting to be in the middle of things. Thankfully she realized and Understood her mistake. The epilogue was more of tying up loose ends than an epilogue. I enjoyed the marine biology and the cute surfer dude and his heritage of surfing.

Kylie loves her research and being a marine biologist, but can Justin convince her to risk her heart and love him too?
A lot of emotional baggage in this book but there is also plenty of light relief too. We have old favourites Falco and Ferguson, new favourite Sophia who has some zinging one liners, Maverick who steals your heart from page one and of course Kylie and Justin. Two sweet characters who have a bumpy but rewarding journey to HEA.
I really enjoy this series and read this book on Kindle Unlimited.
