L. Steele loves to write romance novels featuring powerful men and strong women who bring them to their knees. When she's not writing she enjoys trading trivia with her filmmaker husband, watching lots and lots of movies, and walking nature trails.
Absolutely brilliant story on the Seven I love them even more now xo
Wowowwowow. I have read all the books in the series currently out but this book has blown my mind. It makes things fall into place. If you weren't already in love with the Seven then you will be after reading this.
This is the Prequel to L. Steele's Big Bad Billionaire's Series. If you want to know the origins of the 7, their friendship & how their venture 7A was founded, well, this book will give you an insight into the beginnings. The book is from Sinner's POV, which I actually think fits perfectly well. If you're familiar with L. Steele's work , you'll find some answers to the questions that run around in your head, but not all of them.. It's quite a short story, but well worth reading!
I appreciate the prequels that L Steele provides for this and the Mafia Heir series. Not only because they are free but because they allow you to decide if you want to read the full story.
Unfortunately, it's also the reason why I don't think I want to read these stories.
I love the men. Alone they're a solid piece of work but add the women and things start to get cheesy and at times, confusing.
No man is going to refer to himself as "moi." This tells me that the author is unable to separate the voices. A pet peeve of mine because when reading a dual POV novel, I like my men sounding like men, etc.
The word incident was used 21 times across nine chapters. Every chapter, the word is said sometimes three to four times in one scene or monologue. That's just crazy!
I also feel like too much is going on. Between breaking down how each of the seven men is affected by their kidnapping (the Voldemort of this book), the paths they are choosing, the lead they have gotten on said kidnapping and explaining how a 13-year-old boy can skirt the system for six years.
Seems there was NO adult at his his private school - which we still don't know how he got in - and what exactly happened to his parents? Because both of them dying of stress seems like a fluke.
Still, I love Sinclair's personality. A typical to a fault but it makes for good books.
We briefly met Summer in the back of this one (a sneak peek at book one) and she is uninspiring as they come. Aka, nothing to look forward to.
Anyways, I am done. As much as I had moments of interest, it's not enough for me to read so many books to get to the Mafia Heir series.
I can also see that poetry will take centre stage and while I love a good poem, I also like penis to be penis, vagina to be vagina and a simple, "I want to have sex," will do. Drinking from my fountain and all those other analogies are too much for me.
Prequel teaser that provides insight to the 7 and their business 7A Investments
This is a short prequel to the Big, Bad Billionaires series. You can check out my review on the 1st book (Billionaire's Fake Wife) on Goodreads or Amazon.
This prequel gives a little more insight into the 7 (you get to meet and learn a little about all of them), their dynamics within the group and how they started their business and made their billions.
I would highly recommend reading this before you read the 1st book in the series as it will give you more background to help you understand what's going on in the beginning of book #1 and the motivation behind it.
WOW!!Words fail me because I have so many questions. This is the prequel to the Bad Billionaires series. It takes you back 7 years after the incident. We get a glimpse of how they lived their lives and how each of them starts their journey that leads to their respective books. Will we find the answers we seek in the rest of the books? Only time will tell. If you've read Sinner, Saint, Weston and Damian's books, this will put some things into perspective. As for the rest of them, I cannot wait to read Arpad, Edward and Baron. Well done L.Steele. Brilliant prequel!!
An excellent intro to the Big Bad Billionaires. This gives a look into the seven before their stories and introduces briefly what started it all. It's a page turner for sure that leaves you wanting to know more. I definitely recommend reading this short quick read.
A good introduction to the seven Big Bad Billionaires. It gives a back story of the Seven's relationship with each other and where their stories begin. I've read 3 of the books already, but still this one is very welcome since it's a closer look to their relationship.
I was disappointed. I know it's a prequel and I wasn't expecting a lot but there really wasn't anything here. The only new information is how they got the name and ended up with Meredith. Everything in it is what we already know from the other books. I received an ARC and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Vicious Billionaire (Big Bad Billionaires Prequel) is told in first person pov being told by Sinclair (Sin) and gives the history of the seven and how they became the seven. I absolutely loved this novella and was very happy it was told in Sin's pov. A page turner that leaves you craving more.
There's just to much going on in this book. And it didn't engage me enough to want to read anymore. The British slang swear words were annoying to read. They were in nearly every sentence they said.
A riveting read that will hold your attention from start to finish, great characters and scenario This is the actual story of how the seven came in to being and who they are, you will discover as you read the various books the way in which each of these men have been shaped into the men they are today and how they stand firm and loyal with each of their breathren, closer than most families and brothers as fate and suffering has formed their bonds. Damian wants to be a rock star however he has promised to battle the Russian Bratva and when the others discover what he had done they had allowed Barron to fight in the ring only barely saving him when he had been kidnapped and it had been Arpad that had finished the fight on his behalf. Sinclair had been attacked and almost killed and this woman Meredith Vincent had found the boy and saved his life, she becomes an important rock in both his and the others lives knowing their truths and suffering. I guarantee that once you read this book you will not be able to wait and read the next book in the series, it has been written so wonderfully with such depth of feeling you cannot help but be captivated. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
It’s a prequel so it’s not long, but it gives some great background on the Seven, including a rare glimpse of Baron. I can’t say I particularly liked any of the characters, but they’re nineteen-year-old jerks so, I guess it’s true to life (in a way?). At any rate, this book introduces us to the Seven, from the POV of Sterling Sinclair and we learn how he meets Meredith and how they form 7A Investments. It’s worth reading, if only to provide additional context for the love stories of the characters that are to come later.
Prelude to gaining insight on the forming of the 7 and Meridith. The incident which took place when the 7 were in their early teens devellopes with each of the 7's individual stories. This gives a bit of back story on the direction each ultimately takes. ie. ..... Edward/Priest, Weston/Heart Surgeon, Sin and Saint/Investment Moguls, Damian/Rock Star, Arpad & Baron/??? The whole series is Hot! Full of quirk, drama, and plenty of steam while trying to solve who started the incident. Happy reading! Enjoy 🤓
This is the prequel to the series. I saw it on accident and wooshed it through before reading book 1. Well, I'm not impressed. With those guys. They're idiots. Spoiled brats. This short story shows a glimpse of the "incident" and a bit of each of those boys. I have to ask: where the ever loving fish were the therapists for those boys!? How the heck are they This way with 20!?!?! Seriously, I can't take that seriously. Its just ridiculous. But I will start book 1 and then decide if I go forward in the series.
Vanessa is trying to get away from her husband and Jake along with Soren is tasked to help her do so. They have no problem with this until they meet and get to know Vanessa. What starts off as a transaction turn into so much more between this trio. Her husband refuses to give up. Will Jake, Vanessa and Soren make it out of this alive and will they get a chance for a happily ever after in the end. This story keeps you glued to the pages to see how this will turn out! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I've already read Sinclair's story but it was good to see how they all came into who they are for their stories. This took place after the kidnapping but before their success and their stories. I don't remember anything about Sinclair being kidnapped. Also, I know the dog in his story was fake... that means this one is the fake dog.. right? lol I guess since he found it at the club then at home. But seriously... why don't I remember him going after those who almost killed him??
Either way, I loved Sinclair's book.

This a short glimpse into a series. It introduces you to the main characters. It somewhat explains how they became a group. There is reference to a kidnapping incident that involves all seven main characters. You get a brief glimpse into each character. It is enough to make me want to read more in this series. I did receive an advance copy for my honest review. But I had previously purchased it for my own library.
This short introduction to the lives of the seven who endured a horrific encounter when they were in high school and how each one of the seven men started off on their journey to find the ones who instigated their worst nightmare and how Meredith came into their lives and the reason why Baron disappeared to go out on his own.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
I've read the books that are already out in this series. I am salivating to read Arpad's story. But, I couldn't pass up this prequel to actually get a refresher and more info regarding their younger years. I will also tell you that if a book has L. Steele as the author, that book will be in my library to read again and again. This author doesn't know how to write a bad book. Every book is exceptional.
I personally loved this as a prequel to the series. Even though I have never read the series, I felt that this explained all the characters and set the storyline up well. I didn't feel anything was left out and flowed well into the first story. I was also left wondering certain plot twists and that made me want to buy the next book straight away. I have no issues with the novella except that I would have liked a longer book.
Vicious Billionaire is the prequel to the Big Bad Billionaire Series. There’s a lot of detail in the 10 chapters that lead up to one twisted tale after another. The seven are a force to be reckoned with. Each have their own book with their own stories but this one is just the beginning to something more. If you haven’t read this series then jump in but know it’s a ride you will never forget!!! I received a free advanced copy to read and review.
This was a great story and I loved getting to know bits and pieces of all the characters that make up the Seven, I was intrigued and curious which had me glued to the pages and what they went through being kidnapped and abused and how now as they make there way through life and become billionaires and seek revenge at there enemies. My only reason for giving 4stars is because I hate cliffhangers but I’ll still read the others in the series because you just have to know what happens to them all.
Definitely gives some much needed insight to the 7. Saints just as much a jerk here as he was in his own book. Not a surprise, though. It’s the first I’ve read anything of Baron,
I wish this story had started with the kidnapping. There’s still not enough info on what happened to each man during their time kidnapped. There’s always some mention of it, but never a lot of details.
I have been following this series since the beginning and Sinner is still my all-time fave. This gives us a peek at the Seven from Sinclair’s point of view sometime after the incident but before they were all grown up, insanely wealthy, and finding love. Well written and over way too soon, but provides meaningful context. If you’re new to this awesome series, START HERE! You won’t be disappointed and the books keep getting better and better.
Through Sinclair Sterling's POV we learn more details about the life and motivations of the 7 after the incident. The bond between them grew stronger and together they were determined to build a wealthy and powerful company and destroy their enemy. Interesting prequel with a lot of bickering, some violence and intriguing comments that piqued my curiosity even more.
