This set of books was my introduction to Juliette Duncan's writing. The books were fast reads and chronicled the courtship and marriage of Ben and Tessa. I appreciated that the story didn't just end with their wedding but continued on to show that even believers - especially believers - have to work really hard at keeping their marriage together and stand firm against the weeds of earthly worries choking the life out of their marriage.

The first book, Tender Love, introduces Ben and Tessa and has them falling in love. Ben is a relatively new divorcee, hurting from his wife walking out on him and their son. Tessa is still mourning her break up from her longtime boyfriend. Their attraction is instant, despite the age difference and the teenage son.

The second book, Tested Love, shows the reality of married life. Ben and Tessa fight and discover things about each other that annoy them. Parenting a teenaged boy is really really difficult, especially when parenting styles are so different. Ben and Tessa have character flaws that they have to work hard to forgive in each other.

The third book, Tormented Love, shows this family at its lowest. Their torment and anguish rolls off the pages. But redemption shines bright in Triumphant Love. Ben, Tessa, and Jayden are changed people, touched by the grace of God.

Throughout all the books, God's presence and Biblical truths are prominent. Ben and Tessa get through the toughest of trials and stand strong together as a couple only by their dependence on God alone.

I received a copy of these books from the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

I have purchased the 10 book Australian based clean boxset titled The True Love and Precious Love Series Boxset: A Christian Romance by Juliette Duncan and this review was given freely.
The 10 part saga of the Williams family touches on many serious topics that challenge ones faith and health but also provides a picture of the growth, love and comfort that can be found when walking with God. Vivid descriptions are interwoven between heartfelt prayers, family drama and portions of scripture. Includes the titles Tender Love,Tested Love,Tormented Love,Triumphant Love, Forever Cherished,Forever Faithful,Forever His,Unchained,True Love at Christmas,Promises of Love, and A Time to Treasure: Prologue

**Tender Love:
A little ironic. By a twist of fate, Tessa's counselor roommate Stephanie and two puppies bring veterinarian Tessa Scott and recently divorced single father and accountant Ben Williams together. Contains the serious topics of depression, substance abuse, breaching patient confidentiality and abandonment which are tempered by a strong faith in God.

**Tested Love:
The continued saga of the Williams family is a tense one filled with the sad undercurrents of jealousy, miscarriage, suicide, injuries and Jayden's secret relationship with his mother Kathryn in Florida, USA.
Newly weds Tessa and Ben Williams struggle with adjusting to each, a new home,a new church family, a new job and mercurial 14 year old Jayden who is testing the waters to learn his place in the new family while struggling with the loss of his old schedule and security.

**Tormented Love:
This installment of the Williams family saga is transcontinental and features a "the grass is not always greener"undertone complicated by peer pressure and both drug and physical abuse but ending on a hopeful note.
Tessa and Ben join her brother Elliot on a mission trip to Ecuador in hopes of reconnecting in both Faith and love while distracting themselves concerning Jayden's cutting all contact and going to live with his needy and superficial mother Katryn in the USA.

**Triumphant Love:
This final prayer filled complex sequel of the Williams saga features the serious topics of the trials of an unplanned single teen pregnancy, Tessa's pregnancy scare, substance abuse, murder, the threat of Jayden's deportation and touches on elder memory loss but is balanced by a renewal of Faith, the loving aide of two wonderful Christian families and a happy Williams family reunion.
After being gone for a year, Montana resident Jayden finds both his Faith in God and love for Angie Morgan deepening, his homesickness for his father and Tessa growing, and his sense of obligation to his abused mother lessening.

**Forever Cherished:
A touch of irony with a fair amount of drama. This prayer filled sequel features the trials and rewards of a new baby, the beginnings of the Williams family's Misty Morn Christian retreat where Tessa helps her first lodger, depression and suicide troubled Leah Maloney, find Leah's first love and child, relates Tessa's father's progressing dementia and provides an event filled father-son camping trip for Ben and Jayden.

**Forever Faithful:
A second chance at love story where bad things happen to good people but ultimately ends happily with a wedding for the Williams family.
After college veterinary student and Christian youth group leader Jayden is assaulted and receives a life threatening injury from 19 year old Troy Barrett whose drink was spiked, Angie flies to Australia to be by his side only to be followed by her controlling and jealous boyfriend Cole.

**Forever His:
A prayer filled sequel with a nice recap and the story of newlyweds Jayden and Angie Williams's adjustment to each other as they travel and witness. Contains picturesque descriptions of the places and the people Jayden and Angie see during their year long honeymoon trip around the world but also contains Ben and Angie struggles over how to take care of her aging parents and how Ben's boss Brad being investigated for embezzlement will affect them.

**Unchained:
A poignant companion novel to the Williams family saga starting the day well to do stay at home mom Sally Richardson finds out she is penniless because of her accountant husband Brad's gambling addiction and embezzling. This is a prayer filled novella depicting a family's struggle with addiction, communication and self image as they build a closer relationship with both God and each other.
Can be read as a standalone but best if read in sequence.

**True Love at Christmas:
Taking place around the time Tessa and Ben go on their first mission trip, this is a Christmas companion novel to the Williams family saga featuring the true meaning of Christmas, a reaffirmation of Faith, veterinarian Harrison Smith's romance with Zoe Taylor and, the Christmas surprise he and his siblings give their parents.

**Promises of Love:
An emotion packed continuation of True Love at Christmas laced heavily with the theme of loss but ends happily. Promises of Love finds the newly engaged Zoe Taylor and Harrison Smith spending Christmas day with Zoe's extended family and her financially struggling parents, Harrison hoping for a short engagement while Zoe is torn trying to figure out how to make everyone happy while dealing with doubts concerning her relationship with the no-Christian Harrison, her grandmother's sudden illness and with the sudden return of her high school boyfriend Spencer.

**A Time to Treasure: Prologue: Not read

I love how this series is about the same characters, but we get other perspectives also.

Tender Love:
Oh! HIPPA is there for a reason and this part of the story pained me! You can see where the conflict will occur and cringe waiting for it! An amazing story with wonderful characters. I really liked how we got more perspectives than just Tess and Ben’s. It made for a more intricate and well rounded story. I truly enjoyed it and am excited for the next book in this series.

Tested Love:
A wonderful continuation of Tess and Ben's story. I love how Duncan is not afraid to showcase the realities of life. Even without a step-son, life as a married couple isn't a breeze. No matter how much time you spend together prior to marriage, there are somethings you won't know or be expecting. There are ups and downs, disagreements and fights. How you handle these, how you treat your partner, and how you reach an agreement is what is important.

Tormented Love:
Tormented? Yes, definitely. Tortured, painful, heartbreaking? Yes to all. "No-one gets through life on this side of heaven unscathed." How true this is and how well documented it is in this book, as well as Christian perspectives on it and various ways of dealing with it. Our same amazing characters from the first two books are here in the storms of life.

Triumphant Love:
Wow. This series has put me through the wringer. I thought the first book was great, but now that I'm at the fourth book and I look at is as a one long story? Wow. It is simply incredible. This book is the rainbow after the storm, though there are still some showers. We were introduced to more characters' perspectives in this book and I think it really lent well to the story.

I received a free copy of this boxset and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A Truly Christian-centered Romance
This set of books is a super way to read all four books, plus a Christmas novella, about the story of Ben and Tessa! Even though they are fictional characters, they are life-like enough to see how a couple can meet, marry, and go through disappointments and serious hurts. They may get discouraged, but they manage to keep their faith in God, and grow stronger, in the process. The author does a great job of weaving scriptures into the books, showing the practicality of their beliefs, as well as showing how they grow as a couple and reach out to help others around them, too. They are a great set of books, and I highly recommend them.

These books are so good you won't be able to stop reading them. The characters in the books are very special people who will feel like they are part of your family. I had the honor to review this box set for the author for a honest review. The review is my honest thoughts and reaction to this series. I would give this set a higher rating than a five star review if I could. Juliette Duncan is a amazing author who will have you hooked on the book within the first few pages.

This series deals with so many life situations that families deal with as seen through a young woman, an older man and his teenage son as well as their friends and families. It takes you through the good times and the devastating times in their lives and through it shows God's love working in their lives.

Juliet Duncan

I truly enjoyed this series. Mrs. Duncan is an excellent writer. These books are full of the Word, but not preachy. Also, there is much wisdom in them.
The characters seem real, and the flow of the story is true and not jumping all over the place.

Looking forward to more of her work.

Best Christian Romance I’ve read.

The story was wonderful and held my interest. I thought the character development was great too. Binged the 4 books in a few days. Will look for more from this author. Very much enjoyed these!

Good and gentle read

One thing about reading that I dislike? The end of the book. Juliette Duncan has created real characters that struggle through what life hands out and find a way to grow in their faith. What is better than having all four books together.

Finding God in your life!

This was a good Christian romance but was way too long. The story involved all their families and friends searching for God or helping others to find him!

There is four books in this story and was hard to put down.  You become attached to the characters as they developed in the stories; through the hard and good times, meanwhile growing in their faith.  The challenges they face are so real just what we see and hear happening in life.  I also liked the use of scripture the author interacted into the story; they fit so well.

I enjoyed this series. Words are not my gift so appreciate those that can write. The books were full of human struggle, yet as they sought God through their struggles, they grew in their faith. I received this box set as a complimentary gift but had already purchased 2-4. I enjoyed being able to read them one after the other.
