Sometimes, the hardest person to love is yourself…

Now Tessa's dream of living in the country has been realized, she wants to share her and Ben's blessings with others, but when a sad, lonely woman comes to stay, Tessa starts to think she's bitten off more than she can chew, and has to rely on her faith at every turn.

Leah Maloney is carrying a truck-load of disappointments from the past and has almost given up on life. Her older sister arranges for her to spend time at 'Misty Morn', but Leah is suspicious of her sister's motives.

"Forever Cherished" is a stand-alone novel, but is better read as a follow-on from "The True Love Series" books. If you haven't read them yet, Book 1 is free, and the Box Set is a bargain at 50% off the full price of buying each book separately.

Forever Cherished, written by Juliette Duncan, is book 1 of the Precious Love Series. It is best to read after the True Love series as you will get to know some of the characters before jumping into this series. I'm sure Forever Cherished could be read as a standalone, I would just suggest it be read in order.
I Love love love the character, Tessa, and was thrilled that we are able to continue the book journey with her family. As always, Ben is a great example of a godly husband and yet very human. Tessa has grown in her walk with the Lord and has the normal struggles that people growing in Him have. Duncan can be depended on presenting great storylines with biblical foundations that can be used to encourage a Christians walk with the Lord.
This Christian Romance has a bit of suspense as we wait to find out what will happen with the house guest that has joined Tessa's family in their new venture of turning their farm, 'Misty Morn', into a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation for those in need of getting away from the city or their busy lives.
I would suggest this book along with most of Duncan's books for the older teen on up. Duncan isn't afraid to use real life struggles to encourage the Christian walk through Christian fiction.
I was given an ARC of this book. All thoughts and comments are my own.

Another great read by this author.
Forever Cherished is such an amazing book that shows no matter your past and trials, or how old you are, you can heal.
You can read this book as a stand alone but do yourself a favor and get the True Love Series, it's a treat to read as well as gives the back story on some of the characters. I fell in love with Ben and Tess and just love seeing them grow as a family.
I'm not one for spoilers but you truly must read this book.
Emotional and I didn't want to put it down til I found out exactly why Leah was so troubled.

I have purchased the 10 book Australian based clean boxset titled The True Love and Precious Love Series Boxset: A Christian Romance by Juliette Duncan and this review was given freely.
The 10 part saga of the Williams family touches on many serious topics that challenge ones faith and health but also provides a picture of the growth, love and comfort that can be found when walking with God. Vivid descriptions are interwoven between heartfelt prayers, family drama and portions of scripture. Includes the titles Tender Love,Tested Love,Tormented Love,Triumphant Love, Forever Cherished,Forever Faithful,Forever His,Unchained,True Love at Christmas,Promises of Love, and A Time to Treasure: Prologue

**Forever Cherished:
A touch of irony with a fair amount of drama. This prayer filled sequel features the trials and rewards of a new baby, the beginnings of the Williams family's Misty Morn Christian retreat where Tessa helps her first lodger, depression and suicide troubled Leah Maloney, find Leah's first love and child, relates Tessa's father's progressing dementia and provides an event filled father-son camping trip for Ben and Jayden.

**Forever Faithful:
A second chance at love story where bad things happen to good people but ultimately ends happily with a wedding for the Williams family.
After college veterinary student and Christian youth group leader Jayden is assaulted and receives a life threatening injury from 19 year old Troy Barrett whose drink was spiked, Angie flies to Australia to be by his side only to be followed by her controlling and jealous boyfriend Cole.

**Forever His:
A prayer filled sequel with a nice recap and the story of newlyweds Jayden and Angie Williams's adjustment to each other as they travel and witness. Contains picturesque descriptions of the places and the people Jayden and Angie see during their year long honeymoon trip around the world but also contains Ben and Angie struggles over how to take care of her aging parents and how Ben's boss Brad being investigated for embezzlement will affect them.

**Unchained:
A poignant companion novel to the Williams family saga starting the day well to do stay at home mom Sally Richardson finds out she is penniless because of her accountant husband Brad's gambling addiction and embezzling. This is a prayer filled novella depicting a family's struggle with addiction, communication and self image as they build a closer relationship with both God and each other.
Can be read as a standalone but best if read in sequence.

**True Love at Christmas:
Taking place around the time Tessa and Ben go on their first mission trip, this is a Christmas companion novel to the Williams family saga featuring the true meaning of Christmas, a reaffirmation of Faith, veterinarian Harrison Smith's romance with Zoe Taylor and, the Christmas surprise he and his siblings give their parents.

**Promises of Love:
An emotion packed continuation of True Love at Christmas laced heavily with the theme of loss but ends happily. Promises of Love finds the newly engaged Zoe Taylor and Harrison Smith spending Christmas day with Zoe's extended family and her financially struggling parents, Harrison hoping for a short engagement while Zoe is torn trying to figure out how to make everyone happy while dealing with doubts concerning her relationship with the no-Christian Harrison, her grandmother's sudden illness and with the sudden return of her high school boyfriend Spencer.

**A Time to Treasure: Prologue: Not read

I loved Forever Cherished as it got down to the real nitty-gritty of life and illustrates that we all come with baggage of some kind, whether we are rich or whether we are poor, whether we were brought up in so-called 'good' families or 'bad' families - every family has skeletons in the closet somewhere. I was happy that I read the 'True Love' series before starting 'Forever Cherished' in the Precious Love series, as it sets the background for Ben, Tessa and Jayden's story, and of course, baby Naomi, who is introduced for the first time in Forever Cherished. This story is really centered around Tessa as the main character, as it deals with her relationship with Ben, with Jayden, with her struggles with breast-feeding baby Naomi and with her goals for turning Misty Morn into a retreat for people needing a break from their hectic or mixed-up life. Her first guest at Misty Morn just happens to be Leah, who needs a great deal of love and counselling. Tessa gets very involved, too involved perhaps, in Leah's life. One of the things that bothered me in this particular story was that I felt Tessa neglected her baby and Ben and Jayden while going overboard with her desire to help Leah; however, she did go to God for help and guidance when she realized that she was perhaps overstepping her boundaries. It was nice to hear a bit more about Tessa's parents, although this brought me some sadness, and to also see what is happening in Stephanie's life.

This was a great story, lots to think about and very well done. I am looking forward to the next book in the series by Juliette Duncan. Although I have purchased most of Mrs. Duncan's books, this particular one came to me as an ARC and I am under no obligation to give a positive or negative review. I am just so happy that I have read it and look forward to reading many more by this very talented author.

Forever Cherished continues Ben, Tessa, and Jayden’s stories. However, new characters are introduced, as well as new challenges.

Leah, Ben and Tessa’s first guest at their farm “Misty Morn,” has been fighting demons for forty years. A baby literally taken from her arms at seventeen was just the beginning of Leah’s heartache.

Tessa doesn’t know Leah’s story when Veronica, Leah’s sister, first drops off Leah at “Misty Morn.” Tessa can see sadness in Leah’s eyes and wants desperately to help her. Tessa is no counselor, but she has faith that God brought Leah to “Misty Morn” for a reason. Tessa prays God will use her however He sees fit.

Meanwhile, Tessa is dealing with the decline of her father’s health. The dementia diagnosis does not truly hit Tessa until her mum calls to tell Tessa that her father is missing. He left for work, leaving his phone, and never showed up.

Through learning about Leah’s unimaginable heartache and her father’s illness, Tessa still never loses her faith. She keeps her eyes on God. Tessa reminded me of a very important lesson when reflecting on her father’s dementia: “She could choose to be bitter and resentful, or she could choose to make the most of every day and give thanks for all the precious memories.”

I often forget that I can choose how I feel about things. It has been three years since a traumatic brain injury changed my life forever. I can no longer work in a career I loved. I had to sell my home and have lived with friends since the day of my accident.

Since my accident happened at work, my former employer and their insurance company have done everything they could to interfere with my medical treatment or stop it altogether. Some doctors who have treated me as a result of my accident are still waiting for payments. These doctors and facilities are now coming after me to pay for work-related injuries. Needless to say, anger is an emotion with which I am very familiar.

Juliette Duncan’s books remind me that there are people in much worse situations than I. These books remind me that I cannot control the evil in other people’s hearts. What I can control is my response to that evil and trust that God will see me through.

Such a Sweet Book!

Tessa dreamed of having a place where people with broken hearts could come to be revived. Lena came to the piece of heaven with a heart that had been broken forty years before, when as a teenager she had made a mistake with her boyfriend and a pregnancy resulted. Lena's family hid her away until the baby was born. Lena never learned what had happened to the baby boy, but she looked for a resemblance to the boy she thought she loved in every face she saw.

During her stay at the piece of heaven, Lena thought of the baby her parents gave away 40 years earlier and how she always looked for men, now forty years old, who just might be her son. Read this book to learn more about this special place Tessa and her husband ran and how Lena got a chance to find her son.

I enjoyed this book. I could not put the book down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was s a continuation of Juliette's True Love Series with Ben and Tessa and I loved this book. It goes from highlighting the pains of depression especially when you have no one to talk about to dealing with guilt and forgiveness to understanding that you're never too old for second chances and that God always welcomed you with open arms no matter what you have done. It is a win for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
P.S you may want to read the true love series to get a back story on some of the characters.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book and reviewed it voluntarily. All ideas are mine and not of the author

So glad to get to be with Tessa and Ben once again. Helping others is their new focus and Leah is the first to arrive. What pain this woman faced as a teenager. Now much later in life, she is at a total loss. Will Tessa be able to help?? Handled in a sensitive manner by Ms. Duncan, makes this a wonderful story. Highly recommend.

Leah has had a hard life. When she went to Tessa and Ben's house for a vacation her life changed. What Leah's family put her and Keith through is truly unbelievable. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. The characters are amazing people who will do anything to help each other. You won't be able to stop reading this book. I would give it a higher rating than a five star review if I could. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. The review is my honest thoughts and reaction to this book.

Great books I like the way she brings Christ into their lives. Which helps us as believers to realize Christ is there for us. When reading her books you can’t help bringing God into our lives in every thing we do or say. I love her books

This is the first book I've read of this author but I am so glad I have found her and now I'm going to be on a mission to read the rest of her books! Which will keep me quiet busy because she has quite a few! This book had me intrigued from the beginning and I read it in a day! Loved the hearts of her 2 main characters. She really made them come to life. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Leaning

“Leaning on Jesus to weather life’s storms@, stood out in this book. I love how the author lets God direct her pen with scripture backed circumstances. Forgiveness to all & leaning on His Word gives us all strength for tomorrow as we watch Tessa & Ben grow in Christ.
