In Book 2 Maddy and Hannah can't believe their luck when they are invited to tag along on Maddy's mother's honeymoon trip to "Paradise". While there, they befriend an older girl, whose life experiences are drastically different from their own. Soon, Maddy finds herself wrapped up in a potentially dangerous situation that has direct ties to their new friend's boyfriend.
In order to save her new friend from dangers that lie ahead, Maddy will have to trust God, gather her courage, and let go of her preconceived notions about the young girl to help save her from the web of betrayal and deceit that she finds herself in.
Can Maddy learn to trust her new found faith and share it to help save her new friend?

Maddy Richards is just beginning to settle into life in a new town, when she's paired with troubled 13-year-old Alexandra Peterson for a school project.
Alex is uncooperative at best and Maddy feels that something isn't quite right. Soon, Maddy begins to suspect that Alex is hiding a secret. When Alex reveals what's troubling her, Maddy is sworn to secrecy, but this secret is so big, Maddy may not be able to keep her promise.
Will Maddy break her trust to help rescue Alex or is there another way that Maddy can show God's love and help Alex?

I purchased the preteen focused Christian short story Rebellion in Riversleigh: The Madeleine Richards Box Set (The Madeleine Richards Series Book 1) by Juliette Duncan and this review was given freely.
Twelve year old Maddy and her best friend Hannah run away after learning that Maddy's mother Sarah is marrying Doctor Hank resulting in her need to move to another town.
A touching prayer filled Christian novel dealing with the challenge of accepting change and accepting the peace that comes with believing in God.

I purchased the preteen focused short Christian novel Problems in Paradise: The Madeleine Richards Box Set (The Madeleine Richards Series Book 2) by Juliette Duncan and this review was given freely.
Maddy and her best friend Hannah get to go along with Maddy's parents on their Hawaiian honeymoon. Vivid descriptions, a kidnapping, and espionage make this an interesting but danger filled short read.

Intense life
I enjoyed reading this Madelene Richard series because the life experiences for preteen girls was so intense. When God was allowed into these teens heart they were able to make the right choices in life to become well adjusted teens. The family dynamics shows how much help God can give if we ask for His help in our life.

I enjoyed this series so much. The stories were absolutely amazing and so heart wrenching. I want more. I would be extremely happy if there were 9 or 10 more books in this series. I love how Juliette shares God in all of her stories. She is not overbearing and I think she gets more people wanting to hear more about God that way because some people don't care for the out & out preaching. I personally like both but I didn't before I became a christian. What an awesome job you did Juliette, I wish you would consider writting more in this series. I am 60 and I love this series.

The Madeleine Richards Box Set from Juliette Duncan is a very moving book to read. It's clean romance based on Christian principles. A lot of things happen in the series, it is a fascinating and exciting series. The stories touch your heart and the characters are great. Faith is so beautifully woven into the novel, in short, a great series as we are used to from Juliette.

I chose The Madeleine Richards stories because of the stories of teenage girls. I am glad I did because, I saw how they did stuff and how God got them through it all. It was amazing. I recommend this set of books.

Gripping
I know that this series says young adult, but I am 75 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Full of problems we all encounter and deals with abuse problems as well. Very well written.
