This book was great. I feel that the performance from both Charley and Tor made this audiobook so gripping. With the different accents used both have showcased their talents! It’s written very well with the balance of consent perfect.

This is the story of Kayden and Chloe. He’s angry and wants revenge. So to get it he captured Chloe and mated and made her his but not is a nice way. He’s using her as he wants to those that has wronged him but he takes it out on her anyway. Will he finally realize that it’s wrong to use her as he has as she had no choice as he’d taken her and all that followed. Will he try and win her over and get her to forgive him? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Box set one focuses on Zeus and Lucy, and box set two focuses on Kayden and Chloe. First Zeus took Lucy, then Kayden took Chloe. It’s hardly that simple and none of it was easy. Chloe is different from Lucy but still brave and fierce and despite being a romantic at heart, not anyone’s fool. She challenges Kayden and grows with him, helping him be a better man. This kept me engaged, the characters are interesting and likable, and the plot is so unpredictable. Great writing and a wonderful read!

Steamy good read

Enjoyed the story when it came to Kayden, but thought Chloe came across as a bit wishy=washy. I liked her for the most part but it seemed when he gave her his feelings which is what she wanted she still pushed him away and was cruel. It worked out in the end so all is good, and the steamy scenes were well written as usual.
