About this ebook

I have it all.

As a titan of New York City real estate, there’s nothing out of my reach.

Money. Power. Success.

The rise to the top wasn’t easy, but I’ve overcome every obstacle in my way. Including the biggest one.

Then I met her.

She isn’t afraid to put me in my place. Doesn’t tip toe around me because of who I am.

And she’s there to witness the most humiliating moment of my life.

The thing about being on top is there’s a lot further to fall.

Someone wants to see me lose everything.

And they just may get their wish.

Because I can’t focus on anything except my sister’s best friend.

NoNoNo - you can't do this! Isn't this how life usually works - The hits come in threes Each blow more devastating than the last Lincoln came across a bit "stuffy" in his brothers' story - Here we truly get a chance to know him - beyond the suits and broomstick attire. He is always in control of his environment. The protector to his siblings - Able to maneuver the world to meet his needs - Until one snippy lass named Lexie voices her feelings towards him turning his perfectly controlled persona into a strawberry craving pile of goo That girl is going to remove that broomstick even if it is unintentional At times the verbal banter between these two could only be described as some hot as hades foreplay Watching Lincoln's control slowly crumble- Priceless Feeling Lexie's pain as the hits kept coming- 💔 I wanted to scream I was already stressed about Lincoln's problems but add in Lexi and Eric and I was an emotional mess To the antagonists (more than one sadly) I hope the karma bus delivers tenfold upon you This ends on a heartbreaking cliffy but I firmly believe in Lincoln and Lexie They have always fought loudly and hard for those they loved to ensure their happiness

4.5 Stars This is the first book in the Rise and Fall duet. We have gotten to know Lincoln, Lexie, and Eric in the first duet set in the series. Boy did this book have me hooked. Right off the bat this one starts off with action. Lincoln is very serious workaholic like his father, but the more he keeps hanging out with Eric and Lexie the more he loosens up. It may be small, but for Lincoln it's a huge step. What really won me over with Lincoln is how he treats Eric. That bond forming warms my heart. Lincoln is dealing with someone having an ax to grind with him. This does end on a cliff hanger that had me gasping. I really need the second book in this duet now! I need to know what happens!! Another gem by Grahame Claire!

3.5 stars Rise, the first book of Rise & Fall Duet by Graham Claire was mix of a lot of interesting things. A billionaire closed off hero. A feisty heroine with issues and troubles. And the beginning of their unpredictable journey that brings slow burn, chemistry and suspense. I reviewed an early copy voluntarily
