the story has potential. but I'm so over reading 'you sweet thing' cause you know Mason is not saying it in an enduring way. And what corporate millionaire says 'you sweet thang' - I ended up just switching it to Charlotte. much more mature. The writing itself is clanky and hard to follow the story. Some of the actions of the characters were questionable and immature. It didn't fit with the end goal, I think. A bit more risistants, push & pull from Charlotte, when she was with Mason, would have made the anticipation for the explosive orgasm much more 'enjoyable' ;) to read.

If you think past heroes were bad, Amelia Wilde has overdone herself with this one. I think I spent most of the book hating Mason but also...loving him? He is not nice so be prepared. He really wants to destroy Charlotte and the back and forth and the way he goes about it is just plain wrong, but makes the story, oh so good. When is the next book because I need it now?

Book one in this brand new interconnected series, Net Worth brings us the start of Mason and Charlotte's story. With the family company on the edge of total ruin Charlotte steps up to try and get them out of the jam. Mason however has other items. We are starting to get glimpses of why Mason is so determined to make Charlotte pay for the sins of her family. I'm sure this will be explored further in future books. The cliffhanger at the end! The secret which seem to beginning to be unraveled are mind blowing. So many questions yet to be explored in the remainder of the series. I can not wait to see what happens next!
