Precious Love #3

Forever His

Rate this book
A honeymoon made in heaven, a family fractured by fraud…
Following their romantic beach wedding in Hawaii, Jayden and Angie embark on the honeymoon of a lifetime - the Himalayas, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall, Angkor Wat, the Greek islands…the list goes on.

Fun and challenge await the young couple at every turn, but Angie soon discovers that Jayden is a risk taker, and she has no choice but to go along with him.

But does she embrace the challenge or put her foot down?

And what happens after their honeymoon comes to an end? Angie wants to settle in Hunter’s Hollow, Montana. Jayden wants to settle in Maryvale, Queensland. It’s an impossible situation. Will God show them where He wants them to live, and if He does, will they listen?

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing back home. Jayden’s father, Ben, is in trouble. His boss has been accused of fraud, and although upright, conservative and God-fearing, Ben is entangled…

Tessa, his wife, is worried he might slip back into the depression that’s haunted him for most of his life.

They’ve been through so much, and God has been with them through it all, but can they trust Him now when so much is at stake? When it’s possible they could lose their beloved property, ‘Misty Morn’, but worse still, Ben could go to jail?

A heartwarming and uplifting continuation to the “Precious Love Series”, this contemporary Christian romance can be read as a stand-alone novel, but is better read as part of the series.

Juliette Duncan has written a romance of depth and passion. (Don’t worry—the passion is confined to married couples, and all that’s on the page are kisses.) From Jayden and Angie’s very adventuresome year-long honeymoon to his parents who are dealing with fraud at Ben’s business, gossiping townsfolk, Tessa’s father’s dementia and mother’s declining health; Forever His speaks of God’s love. I loved this book and the characters. It’s well-written and very interesting. The honeymooners are traveling as cheaply as possible through lots of different countries, including India, Japan, and several in Europe. I highly recommend this book and definitely plan on reading more of Juliette Duncan’s work.

Jayden and Angie have the most amazing honeymoon! Traveling the world through southeast Asia to Europe for an entire year. The adventures they have draw them closer to God and each other as they learn to be a married couple.
Meanwhile, Ben and Tessa go through many trials. From work to parents to being there for friends, they continue to trust God. They know he's in control.
This story is very well written. I could truly envision some of the places Jayden and Angie visited through the author's descriptions. Juliette Duncan writes stories that are real and compelling. This one doesn't disappoint.
I was blessed with an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I honestly loved it. Couldn't put it down finishing it just one day!

Three generations in this story trust in God to help them in their different needs. Jayden and Angie leave Hawaii after their wedding for a year of traveling the world for their honeymoon. Their funds are limited so at times they run into problems which sometimes test their new marriage. Ben’s business partner is charged with fraud causing distrust and gossip by some of the town folk. Dementia hits Tessa’s father which in turn puts pressure on her mother. A must read to learn how God’s love helps the family members work through their various needs. I received this book from the Juliette Duncan for an honest review.

I found the story of Jayden and Angie quite intriguing because I also met someone from a different country, fell in love and got married and we also had to decide where we would live - his country or my country. I loved that they decided to take a year long honeymoon and see so many exciting places - unfortunately I was unable to do that, however I have a nephew and his wife who did just that and then they ended up living in Australia which was his wife's homeland. The characters in this story are well developed and real and the author did a great job of blending all the family characters together and keeping them believable.

An Amazing Year-Long Honeymoon!

Jayden and Angie had a beautiful wedding in Hawaii and embarked on a year-long honeymoon in Asia. Jayden had it planned out and the pair went from place to magnificent place working to meet their expenses. This honeymoon included mountain climbing in the Himalayas, hiking through India, and finally working as the crew on a yacht in the Mediterranean before flying to Montana, where Angie's parents lived, and then on to Queensland to get back to their real world.

I loved the details about their trip around the world-it was like being a fly on the wall and joining in on all their adventures. I enjoyed this book so much. I hope you enjoy it also.

Juliette has continued the amazing story of the Williams Family. I have fallen in love with Ben, Tessa, Jayden, and Angie. This story does not disappoint. Ben and Tessa once again have to learn to fully lean on God and trust that His ways are not ours. Jayden and Angie learn how to begin to build a marriage on the Godly principles that they have seen in their parents. Throughout all the struggles, the reliance on God's faithfulness is very clear. I eagerly await another book that continues the beautiful story of the Williams family.

Well-written story with good characterization and description.
Both main characters, Jayden and Angie Stand firm in their faith and share it whenever they get a chance. After their wedding in Hawaii, they go on a year long honeymoon all over Europe and countries in the Eastern part of the world. There are many exotic places and adventures for them.
Unlike Angie, Jayden is a risk taker, but the Lord keeps them safe even tho Angie was really scared in several adventures.
Coming home from their travels, they have a big decision to make: do they live in Australia or America Once again they leave it to God to guide them in their decision.
There is also a problem her parents face having lost everything in a scam.

The last book in the Precious Love series. I am saddened to see this series end, but so thankful that Unchained will be one last connected bonus book. We've been with these people for so long, through so many books, with their trials and joys. I really liked getting to adventure around the world with Jayden and Ange on their backpacking honeymoon. It was exciting to live vicariously through them and experience these places and learn things.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This follows forever faithful in which Angie & Jordan get married. It is about a one year honeymoon trip all over the world. It describes places to see in these various places & if you like to travel this book is for you or you like to read details of some of the sites & what they have to offer. . It also talks about some of the challenges on the trip & how their faith is shared with others. It is about trusting GOD in spite of trials & seeing how HE brings good out of bad situations.

Ben and Tessa are amazing people. When Ben’s partner gets in trouble it causes trouble for Ben and Tessa as well. Jayden and Angie’s travels are wonderful. The characters in this book are all very special people. The author will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review.

Author Juliette Duncan writes clean, sweet contemporary romances. God is a central figure in her books as her characters deal with tough things in life. This one will not disappoint the Christian reader.

Very well written, you will be able to “see” everything that is described. And the characters are incredible, and seem so real. I highly recommend!

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

This lovely young couple has been through so many problems before being married, are celebrating their marriage with a year-long honeymoon. They travel to many amazing places and learn more about themselves and one another than they ever expected. The book has such great details I can almost see the places they visit. (I was given an advanced copy of this book in return for my honest opinion.)

Juliette Duncan is adept at weaving an intriguing storyline with a Christian basis. She’s done this again with the story of Angie & Jayden’s year long honeymoon traveling to foreign countries experiencing new cultures and sharing their Christian faith. A refreshing and uplifting read. Though I received a complimentary copy to read, I have reviewed it voluntarily.

What a great book. The honeymoon was wonderful. So well described, I felt I was visiting all the places in person that Jayden and Angie did. One more problem for Ben and Tessa. Wow.... This is a totally satisfying book and I highly recommend it!!!!! I received an ARC from the author. Opinions are my own.

This is book #3 in the Precious Love Series. I will have to look for book #1 and #2.

This was a wonderful story of Jayden and Angie. There was a lot of history of places they visited
during their year long honeymoon and their families - one living in Montana and the other set
of parents from Brisbane, Australia.

Really enjoyed this book and will certainly look for the others.

An adventurous, one year honeymoon, is the setting of our story. The couple, Jayden and Angie , from separate parts of the world, Australia and America are on the trip of a lifetime. While traveling with them, we get to view their folk s lives and events. Great Christian Romance!

Honeymoon to remember

Liked the story of Tests and her husband, how Jayden survived the awful hit on the head, and how he and Angie finally married. Didn't like how Angie seem to always give into Jayden. Story ended well and Jayden found work in Australia and it was ok with Angie. Interesting story.

I absolutely loved this whole series and thoroughly hate to see it end! I feel like these characters are part of my family and seeing how faithful God was in their lives helps me remember that no matter what comes my way, God is with me and He is good!

Juliette has done it again! Excellent story of sharing one’s love for Christ. Second theme is trusting in God to take control of a certain situation. Juliette has so wonderfully incorporated the Christian walk in this story in two different ways. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

A story of love, faith and trust
Jayden and Angie begin their year-long journey, traveling the world. It’s a beautiful story of love and learning to trust each other. They keep their faith in God, and even share it with others they meet. I loved the scripture references at the beginning of each chapter, too! I recommend this book and encourage you to read the two before this one, if you haven’t read them, yet

“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set glory in the heavens…When I consider the heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them?…Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth.” Psalm 8.

Forever His takes Jayden and Angie around the world on their year-long honeymoon. They travel to the Mount Everest Base Camp. They volunteer where Saint Theresa (formerly Mother Theresa) used to work. Jayden and Angie meet new people along the way, doing their best to connect with other Christians, even in places like Japan where Christianity is not a major religion. They do not set out to convert others, however. They live their lives in a way that, they pray, shows God’s love. Although they may not actively set out to convert others, they are always available to talk to anyone who has questions and/or just needs a friend, never passing up the opportunity to witness to others and share God’s love with anyone willing to receive it.

Although they may not actively set out to convert others, they are always available to talk to anyone who has questions and/or just needs a friend, never passing up the opportunity to witness to others and share God’s love with anyone willing to receive it.

That does not mean their honeymoon is without challenges. Jayden is very adventurous, much more so than Angie, who grew up on a ranch in Montana. Jayden is also still recovering from a brain injury and feels he has something to prove. Angie reluctantly agrees to adventures she would rather not experience, but she wants to make Jayden happy. Will she regret allowing Jayden to push himself and agreeing to always do what he wants even when she has reservations? Or will she be glad he pushed her to be more adventurous and leave her comfort zone?

Meanwhile, back in Australia, Ben and Tessa are facing struggles of their own. Ben has been working for a very well-respected accountant who has been passing more and more work to Ben. The easier life they were hoping for when they moved to the country is beginning to be more and more like the life they thought they had escaped when they left Brisbane. Tessa is not the only one who sees the dark circles under Ben’s eyes growing darker. Jayden and Angie become more concerned each time they video chat. Naomi and Bella, Ben and Tessa’s daughters, also miss Ben and miss spending time with him as he becomes more consumed by work – at the office and at home. Everyone is shocked when the truth comes out. How will they ever survive such scandal? Will their lives ever be the same?

Forever His is a story of love and faith, of trials and triumphs, of actions and consequences. What I enjoyed the most was how Jayden, who has come so far from where he was when he ran away with his mother, often recalls scriptures when he sees something new. For example, while at a teahouse “on the edge of town and the deck had uninterrupted views of the snow-capped mountains, Psalm 19 verse 1 popped into Jayden’s mind: ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.’” I often find myself looking at a beautiful sunrise or sunset or driving along the beach, and I cannot understand how anyone can see such beauty and doubt God’s presence.

In Forever His, Juliette Duncan also reminds us that we are never alone. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” We all need this remind from time to time.
