    Spank my butt! but, who knew at my age I'd discover a new category of MM adult novel specializing in Kink? The two I've read so far are MADE TO ORDER and FLIPPING THE SWITCH and some of the same characters (with obviously different plot lines) appear in both books. How these characters deal with the acceptence of their specific sexual needs is beutifully handled - interestingly, dramatically and sexually. I'm a new Kink fan.

    I enjoyed Donovan and Tyler's story. They initially didn't get along at all, both pushing each other's buttons at work. Turns out all the anger toward one another was a real turn on for them both, which was a big surprise to Tyler who identified as straight. They move pretty quickly into a extremely smoking hot dynamic where Donovan is the Dom and Tyler realizes he has a submissive side he never knew about. Their first few scenes together were HAF!!! Whew!
    As they continue exploring each other and doing scenes together, that initial animosity starts to develop into feelings. I really enjoyed Tyler's self discovery here about so many things--being with a man, figuring out he was submissive, balancing his feelings with how he thoughts his friends and family would react--that was all done really well. I also loved Tyler's friends from the military and the side story about Eddie who was struggling since being discharged.
    It did take me a while to warm to Donovan, I just didn't like him at first and he came across a little arrogant. Eventually he softened and I started to see he truly cared for Tyler. The book did feel a little long and dragged for me a bit in the middle, but overall it was a well written, scorching hot book with a satisfying HEA. And I am very intrigued now to get Jude's story next!

    Tyler is ex-military and bar manager at the Hawk Point Tavern. He's completely straight and struggling to balance work with supporting a struggling Army friend. 
    Donavon is the executive chef at Hawk Point Tavern. He's also a Dom through and through who's looking for his next play partner. 
    Tyler and Donavon clash at work - all the time. It's definitely a hate/hate relationship. Except, suddenly, it isn't. They agree to work out their differences in a unique way - in the bedroom. Suddenly, Tyler is wondering if maybe he isn't so straight. 
    Through challenges with found family, exes, and each other, Donavon and Tyler learn that they're just what the other needs. 
    Brigham Vaughn has written another amazing installment in the Naughty in Pendleton series and this one is a must-read! It can be read as a standalone, though it's worth it to read the others (they're just that good!). I highly recommend it!

    Donovan and Tyler’s story was HOT! If you’re a fan of enemies to lovers, this is going to be your jam! Toss in Tyler who always identified as straight until Donovan started pushing all his buttons, and you have some explosive sexy times! It was so hot seeing Tyler explore so many new things with Donovan. I love when all that hate develops into feelings! However, their story wasn’t all sexy times and dominance. Tyler had quite a lot on his plate he was dealing with besides Donovan. It really drew me to Tyler’s character and kept me going through the story. Donovan on the other hand took me quite a long time to warm up to as a character. Overall, I enjoyed their story and the supporting characters that helped round it out. I’m eager to see where the next book in this series takes us!

    Another happily ever after, this time it came as a surprise to both Tyler and Donovan who start out as enemies in this story. Oh, and did I mention that Tyler thinks he's straight? Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes! The angry sparks flying make the chemistry so much better because you just know at some point it's going to turn from anger to something else! When Donovan and Tyler do come together, it's fireworks!! I would have expected Tyler to struggle some and in a way, I guess he does. The bar/restaurant set up is a good meeting place and I hope we get to see more of it in future books. I'm definitely looking forward to more!! And maybe some more Grandma June!!!

    The story and characters were interesting but there were some aspects that I personally just didn't like how it was portrayed. For me it made it difficult to like one of the MCs. It is well written and fits in nicely with the series.

I loved this story, #3 in the series but standalone… in addition to some scorching hot kink, the feels sneak in, of course, as Donovan and Tyler’s kink play evolves and they come to a clearer understanding of themselves and their roles, and ultimately what they want from each other. If you like your romance with some off-the-charts chemistry and a heaping side of kink, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!
