I have read each one of these books separately but when I saw the box set on sale I had to snap it up. I loved how Ms Knorr brings this story to life. I love how she describes the scenes that make each one come alive. Georgie is a unique character with some interesting magical talents. I was in awe with her wit and being able to figure out how to out smart the evil witch with a little help from a fae. This fae, Laec, shows up in her most recent book A Blossom at Midnight which is another must read. I cannot recommend this box set highly enough. You will never go wrong with any book from this author.

Although I loved the storyline, I was disappointed with the ending. As hard as Geordie fought to learn about her magic and family background, it just inconceivable that she would give up the chance to not permanently live in Stavarjak. She would have had the opportunity to be with the father she always wanted to know and identify with. It not like she had a strong relationship with the guy from without (none magical earth). Other than her final choice in men, I enjoyed this read. It was very descriptive in background, storyline and characteristics.

The way they each have their own different powers and stories, yet are there for each other.
