Read book #1 and definitely was sold as a m/f book. Now this book has a sharing scene with the hero's ex-male lover and the heroine. And not necessarily consensually either. Very frustrating that this other has a pattern of not being up front and letting readers know what the book will be about. Need trigger warnings in the synopsis.

Upper Hand picks up right where Power Play picks up. Because it had been a few months since I had read Power Play, it took me a bit to remember where we had been with Gabriel and Elise. Amelia Wilde is a master at writing intense, angsty romance. Upper Hand is no exception and it's what keeps me coming back again and again to her books. In this installment we have more mystery and subterfuge with The Consortium and lots of tension between Gabriel and his siblings.
