Publisher's summary

Lori Belkin has been dumped. By her parents. They moved out while she was away on holiday, and now, at the tender age of 25, she must stand on her own two feet. While she’s getting to grips with basic adulting, Lori magically brings to life the super-sexy man she created from celebrity photos as a teenager. Lori learns very quickly that having your ideal man is not as satisfying as it ought to be and that being an adult is far harder than it looks.

Snowflake is a story about prehistoric pets, delinquent donkeys, and becoming the person you want to be, not the person everyone else expects you to be.

Humorous and Entertaining

Lori has had many breakups in her short life, but never from her parents. Returning from a holiday, Lori finds that her parents have sold their home, moved and didn't tell her.

After she finds a note from them, she realizes she must now make her own way in the world. After a series of misadventures and misunderstandings, Lori finally starts to learn the lessons of "Adulting".

This was a delightful listen/read and Diana Croft brought each character to life......including "Lexi".

Hilarious...and profound!

These authors are endlessly entertaining (I've loved every one of their books), but this one is not only laugh-out-loud funny - it also is poignant.

Lori must die.

The story is amusing, the Narration excellent but after an hour of listening I wanted to smack the living (expletive) out of this girl & her parents.

Starts kinda ropy, quickly ramps up. Good fun!

Everyone starts out annoying, but knowing G&G's work, I hung on through the first curve and the story gained pace, fun, complications, and depth (despite their frivolous premises, G&G's stories can be gleefully profound.)

The characters were fun & distinctive, the relationships & motivations convincing, and the reader was good & had fun with it. The final set piece went completely over the top, and maybe only G&G could be that shameless and get away with it, but they sure had tons of fun with "deus ex machina".

Great entertainment value!

Adulting...

Snowflake by Heide Goody and Ian Grant is a great listen. I loved the great humor, vibrant imagery and endearing characters. Lori has some great escapes "adulting" in this British listen. Diana Croft was magical bringing the characters to life, and added the right emotions delivering the humor. I found myself laughing out loud at times with this book. I really enjoyed it!
