Publisher's summary

Daniel Chai has fallen into a routine of adventuring and dungeon delving with his friends. When his secret gift as a healer is exposed, Daniel's greatest fears come to play as adventuring guilds and the royal family attempt to recruit him. To survive, Daniel and his team won’t only have to face dangerous monsters and Master Class dungeons—they’ll have to escape a web of guild politics and conniving nobility.

This box set collects the final arc of the Adventures of Brad series, following Daniel and friends in a LitRPG-inspired fantasy world. Written by the best-selling author of the System Apocalypse and A Thousand Li, it draws inspiration from Japanese light novels like Dan Machi, Grimgar, and Konosuba.

The bundle includes books 7-9:

  • The Guild’s Demands
  • A Capital’s Perils
  • A Royal Ending

a sad ending to a great tale

I feel the best way to describe this story is a beautiful tale of love, loss and adventure of a man fated to die.

I didn't see the cliff at the end coming!

I want to start by saying that I have loved this series since I found it a year ago. there are not many short stories in this genre that I have come across that can compare with the characters and stories that Tao Wong can put together. I am going to miss them while they are gone but I know we will get to hear more from Daniel and his team in the future.

An ending.

This is the first book series I have listened to that has an actual ending.

I was not disappointed nor left wanting.

Overall a great story

Different in that it’s an LitRPG progression AND regression story. Loved the characters and story. Wish it was longer and we can see the characters a couple years in the future. Great job!

A decent ending.

I was wondering how TW would end the story since there didn't seem to be a clear conclusion in the plot. I like the way he did it, although it seemed a bit rushed, like most of the second half of this series. Glad to have finished it, though. The bundle is definitely worth the credits.

really good listen but it's just missing something

this is a really good story I would put it at great but like I have said in all 3 set reviews this series just feels like it's missing main story line a main plot line don't get me wrong it's a great listen a good story amazing characters but it's more of just telling about the every day life of a adventurers day to day spoiler alert the ending is good for a book ending not a series ending leaving you craving more a wrap up of the characters the secrets I highly recommend listening but it will having you feeling shorted you got the potatoes and veggies but your missing the meat.

You want more but won't get more

Is a touch of a spoiler alert Just one of those stories where the ending isn't quite as what you want but you appreciate what you get it's a shame he doesn't want to go back to this and see more of what's happening as he It's to know his friends and societyAll over again it has some interesting possibilitiesShould get interesting

Amazing series

I like a series that is always progressing forward, it is a bit different from most literpg being this group actually has hardship and it’s not always going to workout.

A great performance by Eric Jason martin and a fantasy journey by Tao Wong.
