Theophilus Monroe is a fantasy author with a knack for real-life characters whose supernatural experiences speak to the pangs of ordinary life. I sometimes wonder what it must be like to live in Theophilus Monroe’s mind. With other authors this thought has never occurred to me, but with Theo? Oh heck, yes!

Reading one of the books in the Eden Gate saga is a it like riding a rollercoaster with a blind dfold. You know there’s a sharp turn, or maybe a loopty-loop coming, but you have know 🪪 ea what it is or when it will happen.

He builds some of the most convoluted, wrapped up, inside-out, backwards-spinning, soul-stealing, soul-returning, surprising, obvious, nope even more surprising plots that it has been my pleasure to read. He turns things in every possible direction and just when you hope you have it figured out, he tosses in another twist.

The amazing thing is does this all while keeping a storyline moving forward and keeping you engaged with and invested in the characters - and he’s done this through over 30 books so far. If you haven’t read the entire Eden Gate saga, you should. It is by no means necessary to enjoy this book, but when you see the grand design and how it all fits together, it’s a bit awe-inducing. ENJOY

I loved this book. It was a riot! It was a quick read but there were alot of things happening. Most of them were completely surprising to me and kept me totally entertained. This is a great series and I am moving on to book six. I can't wait!

'Faeries and Fangs' is the fifth book in 'The Blood Witch Saga' by Theophilus Monroe. The story follows Hailey Bradbury, a hedge witch and vampire, who accidentally finds herself trapped in the realm of the Faerie King after a spell backfires. The faeries are small but powerful and the King is not happy with Hailey's presence. However, if they teach her their power, it might be just enough to stop a sorcerer who has caused Hailey trouble in the past. But the problem is getting out of the faerie realm.

Monroe's writing is immersive and he has created a fascinating world where witches, vampires, and faeries exist. The plot is fast-paced, filled with action and magic, and keeps the reader engaged until the very end. The characters are well-developed, especially Hailey, who is strong-willed and resourceful, making her a likable and relatable protagonist. The faerie realm is vividly described, and readers will enjoy the details of the different faerie creatures and their hierarchy.

'Faeries and Fangs' can be read as a standalone book, but it is recommended to read the previous books in the series to fully understand the characters and their backgrounds. Overall, 'Faeries and Fangs' is a thrilling addition to 'The Blood Witch Saga' and will leave readers eager for more.
