Corio Heights #4

The Hideaway Neighbor

Rate this book
What do you do when your past becomes your new neighbor?

Noah thought he was safe with his childhood friend, and all that awaited them was a lifetime of happiness. When the unthinkable happens, he hides away to lick his wounds, but his heart remains frozen in time. Unable to move forward, Noah finds that his new neighbor is the very man who has him bound in the past. Is this the closure he's been seeking to end that chapter of his life or will he break free from the chains that have coiled around his heart and learn to trust again?

Bound by the shackles of pressure, Lucas lost the person he thought he’d spend his life with. Years pass, but he's unable to resign himself to the fate of living without the love of his life. He wants nothing more than to get Noah back. He was raised to take what he wants, and he's determined to obtain it. Will he succeed or will the past devour them?

The Hideaway Neighbor is a second chance M/M romance that features childhood friends to lovers, found family, and breaking through comfort zones. It is the fourth book of the Corio Heights series and can be read as a standalone but will be more enjoyable when read as a series.

I was really looking forward to learning more about Noah, and I adored him as much as I thought I would. His love story is a second chance with Lucas - his childhood friend, first love, would-be employer, new neighbor, and man who broke his heart 2 years ago. What Noah never fully considered was the state of Lucas’s heart during those years. They were torn apart by Lucas’s family, but mistakes and impulsive decisions kept them separated.

When Lucas shows up at Noah’s door, finally, to try again, Noah doesn’t know if he should give him a chance. But Noah’s kept himself at a standstill waiting for Lucas to find him, and he doesn’t think he has the strength to resist.

Lucas had some work to do to find himself and get himself healthy. It was scary and at times seemed impossible or not worth it, but the dream of Noah kept him going. Now he feels strong enough to make amends with Noah, he’ll make sure they live up to their childhood nicknames of Cat and Mouse. His little Mouse has been brave, publishing his novels and making new friends, and Lucas needs him to be brave for their relationship too.

In some ways, the conflict that originally kept Noah and Lucas apart was a misunderstanding, but I think it was mostly two heartbroken and scared men who didn’t know how to move forward. Their years apart were challenging in heartbreaking ways, but they let Noah and Lucas grow and mature in ways that strengthened their relationship for the second go. Their reunion, then, is sweet and comfortable, even as it reignites sparks and leads to some very exciting encounters.

The love between Noah and Lucas is tender and familiar in a way that feels like you’re being hugged by your best friend you haven’t seen in years. It’s warm and oh so satisfying.

I really enjoy the Corio Heights series. It’s schmoopy, cute, and fun, with just enough soul-searching and past angst to make it not too sweet.

And best friends Lucas and Noah fit in perfectly with the previous building residents to find love within its walls. I love BFF to lovers stories and second chances. Something about the shared history and inside jokes/memories warms my heart.

In The Hideaway Neighbor, we are reminded why rich/powerful families suck! These guys grew up together but were torn apart when Lucas’ family discovered they were dating. Both men hurting, they hadn’t spoken for two years. When Lucas finally decided his life was meant to be lived only with Noah by his side, he would do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Moving in next door to Noah was the first step in wooing his man back.

Glad this duo found their happy ending.

I have been wondering about the reclusive author neighbor in the apartment building. Noah has been living in isolation for two years, not associating with anyone but his childhood friend Liam, and writing his books. At first blush, Lucas got on my nerves. I felt he had a lot of nerve just showing up with no explanations, no nothing. I understand he had his reasons but I felt he should have done a bit more work to earn forgiveness. I also understand the heart wants what the heart wants and sometimes you never get over a love, no matter how hard they broke your heart. I don’t blame Noah for forgiving him at all. Lucas was just a bit arrogant in his plan. He had to know how badly he had hurt Noah by his actions and his silence. As I continued to read and learn more about what happened, I understood it a little more. These two both have work to do in order to overcome their past and have any kind of future together. It is actually a cute little story and I am glad that I stuck with it to read past my initial gut reaction.

I absolutely loved Lucas and Noah. There is just something about childhood friends to lovers that takes hold of my heart and forces me to read it.

Lucas and Noah were meant for each other from the time they were born to when they got fat and old. The love they so easily shared was so sweet and just perfect. This was the best possible way I could have imagined Noah’s book. I am so happy they found a way back to each other.

I can’t wait for Liam’s book.

I received an ARC from the author and Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest opinion.

I thought Will and Jason's story hurt but Lucas and Noah's story hurt my heart even more. Their story has us discovering all the interference from family, the mistakes made and the miscommunication that cause them both so much pain. It was all worth it to get to their sweet HEA.

Cat and Mouse

‘His kisses were sweet, filling me with so much love, lust, and every emotion in between. They breathed life back into me, and I had to wonder how I'd survived these past couple years without them. All I knew was that I didn't want to be robbed of them ever again.’

Rye Cox adds another neighborhood relationship to the life of love in this delightful Cat and Mouse story.

Who is hiding and why? Noah has become a successful recluse after losing the love of his life, while Lucas has been battling his own demons.

When each time is able to get past their painful pasts and look at the love each feels, we are blessed with their happy ever after.

The Hideaway Neighbor pulls at our heartstrings, when we think of our past decisions and lost time, but brings us full circle to reviving a forever love.

Noah and Lucas are a beautiful couple, in love and torn apart by circumstances, misunderstandings and a bit of poor communication on both men.

Childhood best friends, Noah’s family has worked for Lucas’ family for years. When Noah is told that his job will be to assist Lucas when he takes over the reins of the family business when he’s an adult. Noah begins to distance himself from Lucas, trying to implement some professional space to avoid confusion/blurring of their future roles. This is the beginning of the nicknames that they’ve given one another; Lucas, Cat, and Noah, Mouse. Lucas chased Noah until he caught him – not that Noah really ran that hard or long. Their relationship blossoms from best friends to lovers, until one night their seemingly rock-solid coupling comes crashing down and, through a comedy of errors, the mouse ran until the cat couldn’t catch him. Noah’s parents quit and moved out to the country, Noah disappeared and Leo, Lucas’ brother and Noah’s other BFF, is silent about Noah’s whereabouts.

In the present, Noah is an author, extremely introverted and a proud cat dad. Lucas is fresh out of rehab, on a bit of a sabbatical and wants his Mouse back in his life – and he refuses to take no for an answer. He moves into the building that his brother owns (that Noah also lives in) and sets about winning his man back. Noah tries hard to remain strong against the lure of his childhood best friend, his first and only love. He knows that he can’t withstand the agony of being left again, forced to watch Lucas marry someone else, likely a woman, and he doesn’t want to open himself up to the possibility of that kind of pain. Noah has always known that Lucas’ grandfather doesn’t like that Lucas is bisexual, that he’d been in love with Noah and that Lucas has no desire to marry a woman & provide new heirs to the family.

When Lucas’ grandfather has a heart attack and Lucas is forced to step back into the company, will Noah be left watching the love of his life be set up on more blind dates with women? Will he be left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart once again? Can Lucas show Noah that he is here for keeps this time and prove it by standing up for his lover to his grandfather? If the two soulmates can communicate openly and work out any misunderstandings that threaten to halt their second chance at love, maybe Noah won’t need to be the Hideaway Neighbor any longer.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and, as always, my review is unpaid and honest.

I've really enjoyed this series so far and The Hideaway Neighbor is a really good hurt/comfort, second chance romance.
Lucas and Noah were separated when Lucas's upper class family found out and put the family name and business ahead of his happiness. Now, two years later, both still yearn for their other half and have had quite the journey but for very different reasons. Noah is the quiet one who left when it seemed Lucas had abandoned him, making a quiet life for himself at Corio Heights, whilst pining for the love he can't forget. Lucas had a more painful time and my heart hurt for him, the pressure and demand he was under from his family and then to lose the one person who brought light to your life. He should be proud of himself for getting back to a position where he feels ready to fight for Noah, physically and mentally.
These poor guys, separated because the rich, uppity family had a different idea of who the heir should be dating/marrying. No thoughts for their happiness or the aftermath. I was so happy to read the place that Lucas now finds himself in and looking to retake what he wants from life. Noah is a total sweetheart. Really quiet and shy, and so hasn't mixed much with the other residents of Corio Heights except for play dates for his kittens with Jason. They are totally adorable and I'm in full sympathy of Noah when he says that he now lives in the cat's home rather than them in his. The two MC's reuniting is a fairly low angst experience, which I think was good for both of them. It shines through how much these two men love each other and haven't been the same since being apart. Liam is a little caught in the middle as Lucas's brother and Noahs friend but all ends well and I'm hoping that it's his story next. He deserves his own HEA.
*Content warning* There is a memory told of a tough moment that Lucas and his brother went through that may be hard for some to read, a thought or two of suicide, and talk of alcoholism.
Overall, a really enjoyable romance to read that has some lighter moments to balance the occasional harder one. A bit of pining but mostly filled with a second chance at happiness for two men who are perfect for each other.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Another book slump. Maybe I can try to cross another author off my list instead? Here's Rye Cox's "The Hideaway Neighbor." It's the fourth book in her Corio Heights series.
["What do you do when your past becomes your new neighbor?

Will he succeed or will the past devour them?"]

I was honestly, excepting a loooooot more angst and push-back and lack-of-trust in this one. And a miscommunication in the third act that would have led to an almost-break up. Don't get me wrong, I'm sooo glad there wasn't.

These two were so perfect and cute. Childhood best friends to lovers reunited after years apart?? Sign. Me. Up. Second chance romances plus working on yourself plus kitten cuddles?! Yes, yes, yes.

Trigger Warnings: alcoholism, depression, suicidal thoughts, homophobia, and more.

I love a good second chance romance and this one hit the right spots. Plus it let me back into the wonderful world of Corio Heights and the apartment complex where I wished I lived (if only because everyone there just seems so amazing...)

Noah and Lucas were childhood sweethearts - with some added complications. Because Noah's parents worked for Lucas's family and it was pretty much known that one day, he'd work for Lucas as his right hand man, the same position that Noah's dad had for Lucas. But as they grew older, they fell in love. Unfortunately, the relationship ended in a messy way (no spoilers). Two years later, Lucas is back and he's determined to win back Noah.

The set up may seem like there's going to be a lot of angst, but there really isn't. Instead, we had two people who loved and trusted one another learning the truth about what happened when they broke up. I loved how it played out, because it didn't cheapen any of the connection they had in the past or present. I loved that the moment they reconnected in the modern day, Lucas was all about making sure that Noah knew that he was IT for Lucas - and then spent the book putting his money where his mouth was.

I also loved that Noah did the same for Lucas, because it kept the relationship from feeling one sided.

This book was filled with a lot of heart, a good bit of heat, and a love story that had me cooing on more than one instance. Also, there are two adorable kittens. While this is book four of the series, it can be read as a standalone.

** DISCLAIMER: I recieved an ARC from the author and this is my fair and honest review. **

The Hideaway Neighbor (Corio Heights Book 4) by Rye Cox ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's been two years since lonely writer Noah saw his childhood sweetheart Lucas. After having his heart broken, he moved into an apartment in Corio Heights where he lives an isolated life with his two kittens. The last thing he expects is for Lucas to show up out of the blue at his door and to find out that Lucas is in fact his new neighbor.

Lucas has endured a rough two years, losing himself to his grief and ending up in a downward spiral. With his life finally getting back on track, he knows that the missing piece of his world is Noah. Can he win back the love of his life or is it too late?

This book was the epitome of a sweet second chance romance. Regardless of their differing social status the two guys have only ever had eyes for each other and I loved that even after being torn apart for two years, all either of them wanted was to find their way back to being together again.

I would have loved to see more of their relationship reforming in the present day as there seemed to be a lot of emphasis on their past relationship which personally made the story feel a little unbalanced to me.

This wasn't my favourite book in the Corio Heights series but was still a nice addition and I was happy to see the reclusive Noah get his well deserved happy ending.

💚Second chance
💚Childhood friends to lovers
💚Found family
💚Two cute kittens

**I was given a free copy of this book to read and review for Gay Romance Reviews.**

THE HIDEAWAY NEIGHBOR is the fourth book in the Corio Heights series. I have not read any books that have come before it (but now I want to). I was able to read this without issue has a stand alone.

Noah and Lucas grew up together. Noah's family working for Lucas's family. Growing up they always had a tight bond until that turned into more. Lucas being the first born son is meant to follow his grandfather's rules to take over the family business. Lucas being gay isn't something that will be tolerated by his grandfather. Losing his best friend and the love of his life isn't something he ever wanted but family duty called.

When Noah finds out Lucas is living in his building he can't help but hope they'll get their happy ever after but Noah is still hurt at what happened. Can Lucas prove to him he's it for him? Will Noah let Lucas break through the walls his built around his heart?

I previously said I didn't have issue reading this as a stand alone but I wish I waiting and read in the order the author intended to get the full impact of the characters. Don't get me wrong it was a good read but I missed the depth I feel I would have experienced knowing the full story. I was completely invested and routing for Noah and Lucas even though I found him arrogant at times. I loved a good second chance love story and this did not disappoint!

What a sweet second chance romance. This was literally filled with the schmoopiest love-fest ever, and it just worked.

Lucas and Noah have been apart for two years. After growing up together and starting a relationship, an easily avoidable miscommunication rips them apart. While I detest the miscommunication plot point, I really liked the growing that Lucas did while trying to better himself. He falls into a pretty serious addiction and coming back from that made me really proud of his character. When he decided it was time to try and win Noah back, he was all in.

Noah has been stuck in the past playing the what if game. He feels like he never got any closure in his relationship with Lucas. He was decidedly wary of Lucas and his intentions. Can’t say that he really made Lucas work for it, but considering the reasoning behind the split, I was happy to see some open communication between the two.

This book was so incredibly sweet. Two men who absolutely deserve a second chance finally get one. Through hardship and insecurity, they work together to create something new but that feels familiar. I enjoyed their story and am looking forward to the final Corio Heights book with Liam’s story.

What a sweet story about a second chance at a first love. A misunderstanding years ago caused Noah and Lucas to lose out on two years of being with the person they loved. It was obvious from the start that both MCs never truly let go of the other. Noah was living the life of basically a shut in, while Lucas went spiraling in an even worse direction. My heart broke for them, especially when it all came to light what really happened on the day everything went to shit. Fortunately, these two weren't going to let the past dictate the future and I feel like they ended up stronger for it. There was nothing on Earth that was going to break these two apart a second time and I finished the book with perfect certainty that these two were it for each other.

Also kudos to the author on the romantic aspects of this book. There's a reason they say a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And the origami stars? I think that's one of the sweetest scenes I've ever read. And I read A LOT! I know Liam's book is next, but I'm at a loss who his man is going to be! Will it be Eric, the man whore of the group? Or a certain best friend of Lucas? My vote is on the latter because he was such an amazing friend and I would love to see him get his HEA.

This is book 4 of the Corio Heights series. I was able to enjoy this without having read the previous books. This is the story of Noah and Lucas. Noah is an author that works from home. He is not comfortable in social settings and large crowds. Since the love of his life left his years ago, he is stuck. Unable to move forward or get over the pain. Lucas is the eldest son of a well to do family. He is pressured to do the right thing and uphold the family honour and tradition. So begins his path to destruction. Being away from the one that he loved is slowly killing him from the inside out. Noah and Lucas were in love years earlier. Both thought that it was forever. But family and obligations ripped them apart. Finally Lucas has found Noah. He plans on winning back the love of his life. He knows that he will have to rebuild the trust between them. This is their story. This book is well written and easy to read. This is a sweet second chance romance. I enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

I received a free copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

this was honestly such a cute read and though it included past emotional trauma for young adults, Noah and Lucas had great chemistry and tension and the author wrote this really well since their bond was believable and transferred from the past to the present.

I really admire Lucas’ strength to help himself once he realises that Noah is still love him, and even though I believe he could and probably should have done it for himself, the fact he was determined to do it for love is admirable and inspires great passion.

The side characters were fabulous, as always, and I cannot wait to read Liam’s
eventual story.

TROPES
- second chance romance
- childhood friends to lovers
-found family

TW’s
- past alcoholism
-slight familial homophobia (which resolves)
-depression
- anxiety

QUOTES
“Noah had become the air breathed. I couldn't live without him.”

"I'm here. And I'm not going anywhere”

"All I've ever wanted is you.”

“Noah was everything to me. When I was with him, I didn't
have to pretend. I didn't have to wear a mask of a perfect
man. I could just be. And that was a freedom I'd never
thought I'd have”

Second Chance Romance Total Sweetness Overload

I love second chances!! I do. I’m a romantic, I believe that love wins, and that if you say you’re sorry that maybe you can get a second chance. Guess what?! Lucas got a second chance!!!

We finally got to meet our quiet neighbor Noah. We saw him a bit in The New Neighbor, book one, and in The Forever Neighbor, book three. Noah’s story tried to break my heart, living a lonely existence in his apartment, rarely going out. Except that Lucas came back, FINALLY, and was so ready to make amends. Noah was willing to admit his mistakes too.

The Cat caught his Mouse and their hearts slowly and steadily mended. There is so much to their love story that kept me going. I’m ready for book five just saying. Maybe not though, because that will mean the magic of Corio Heights is over. This series is one of my favorites. It’s one that brings me joy and The Hideaway Neighbor is a great addition to the series. I definitely recommend reading from the beginning just to enjoy the entirety of the series! 🤩

Firstly let me say I got this book from a gay romance reviews and this is me leaving my honest review.
Well I’ve got to say I have a massive soft spot for Noah and Lucas.

After many miscommunications Noah had spent the last two years thinking that his secret boyfriend didn’t want him anymore. Lucas was from a very powerful family and they didn’t like the fact that he was gay because he was next in line to be the CEO when his father retired. Therefore he had to get married and produce an heir. But two years later both Lucas and Noah are still thinking about one another neither have moved on so when Lucas turns up at Noah’s door holding a single red rose what would know he do?? Slam the door in his Face of course!
But when they finally get talk to each other the truth comes out.

I absolutely adored Noah’s and Lucas‘s relationship they are utterly cute. I just had a smile on my face. From everything from the cute little food orders to the red roses. They are just a beautiful couple and these two were really made for one another. A adorable story

The Hideaway Neighbor by Rye Cox is the fourth book in the Corio Heights series, I have not read these all-in order and I was not lost starting here.

This story is told in dual POV which is one of my favorites. I like both perspectives and where this book deals with some heavy subjects it, the POV really works great.

Noah: a writer with writer's blocks his worst nightmare comes true. But he does have his kittens to get him out of his funk.

He is having a hard time getting over his past, so he spends his time in his stories, waiting for Prince Charming to save him.

Lukas: Noah’s best friend’s brother. Noah once thought of him as the perfect man. But not anymore. Lukas will not give up on his soulmate. He knows he screwed up, but he is determined to make it right.

Overall, pretty good story. I liked the connection and heat in this story. I also loved all the side characters too. I am going to go back and see what stories I have missed, and I cannot wait for more stories in this world to come.

I have read all of the previous books in this series and this one had a very different vibe. It was heartbreaking and emotional and like a love story in reverse. The heartbreak had already occurred years before the MC'S reunited. We were then taken through the stages of their hearts being put back together; healing each others pain. Lots of high emotion and very intimate without physical interaction. This book is not going to be remembered for the smoking hot sex scenes, because there wasn't many but I still feel like Lucas and Noah made love to each other in every other way. We were teased about them reinacting a scene from Noah's novel but this didn't materialise. It was a beautiful heartfelt story which deserves its place in this brilliant series. We caught glimpses of the previous characters which is always nice to read. I am rooting that Liam gets his HEA in the upcoming book. 4 stars from me. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the latest entry into the Corio Heights series, and features Noah and Lucas. It's a childhood friends to lovers, second chance story. Lucas and Noah grew up together, and then that evolved into a relationship where both felt this was it for them. Now they're living in the same building and Lucas is determined to win back Noah.

I swear, there's something in the fabric of that building that makes people fall in love. This was such a cute, fluffy, low angst second chance story. I enjoyed meeting both Lucas and Noah, they've both been through a lot since they were forced to part but their connection was still there and as strong as ever. I liked how determined Lucas was, if ever there were two people meant to be together, it was this two.

This was a good entry into the Corio Heights series, if you want something low angst, fluffy and feel good then this is for you.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

A lesser known neighbor and a brand new one & what they have ties to the building owner, This is a story of childhood friends that grow into lovers and the loss of that relationship, including the pain from the loss, and a misunderstanding that is part of the cause of the breakup. You see why you have the hideaway neighbor in the first place, a lot of hurt feelings, some anxiety, and some things aren’t as once thought. Then enter the brand new, new to the building, but not new to two residents. Find out why he moves to the building, and what has happened to this man recently. Can they find their way back to each other, can they return to their friendship and move on or can they find their Happily ever after this time around? Mild Angst. Some forgiveness and a lot of growth for the characters and those around them. All brought to life in this sweet though at times heart-wrenching story from a talented writer.

My rating for this book is more a 3.5⭐️.

I liked Noah and Lucas and my heart hurt for both of them. They did not deserve what happened to them, but at the same time it had to happen to allow them both to grow as individuals.

I really like Rye's writing, but there were to 2 things that kept me from giving this a higher rating.

I found that Lucas' position/duty in the family was described too often throughout the book. It felt repetetive after a while and that's something that irks me personally when reading.

My second and more prominent issue was that I was missing something. The story is in no way boring at all. Once their past and how each man experienced it unravels it's quite shocking, but there was just something missing for me to really connect emotionally with them. Considering how long they had known each other it makes complete sense how their story runs it's course and there is nothing missing in the plot. I personally was just missing a "spark" of some kind. Can't even say what exactly.

Noah and Lucas ❤️

This one was so touching!!! This story was sweet yet emotional. Lucas and Noah.... These two boys have loved each other always but circumstances and family obligations tore them apart. When we first meet these men they are reeling from a two year separation in which both have suffered and are still feeling the loss of each other. All it takes is one face to face and these two instantly begin to feel again, Lucas had to build Noah's trust in him again but the love has always been there so the forgiveness comes easy for Noah. These two were such a great second chance love story to read. Their history and present combined was touching and sweet with some spicy added in...the perfect balance and a great addition to this series. I would most definitely recommend.

Noah and Lucas grew up together as friends, but a lot of time has passed, and they are no longer kids. When Noah finds out that Lucas has moved in next door, he decides to give Lucas and his friendship a second chance. But together, they realize friendship is great, but being together as a couple, is so much more.

This was a quick and easy read, and I devoured the story and could not put it down. The MC’s were well developed and the book was very well written. The friendship between the two were so sweet, but when they were working through their differences and misunderstandings, I cried, and my heart was so full. When they begin their relationship, it was so beautiful to see how everything unfolded and to see their romance bloom. I am so glad I read this book.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I was rather intrigued by Noah and boy he didn’t fail to make me fall in love with him. It was easy to be mad at Lucas with only knowing Noah’s side of their story. I thought he had some huge balls to show up back in Noah’s life after two years without a care for how he’d hurt him. However there was so much more to him than his first impressions.
The way these two still love each other is just beautiful. It the little touches like the roses that really softened my feelings towards Lucas. Noah is just the cutest once he lets you past his walls and I want to protect him at all costs. I was so happy that Noah got his HEA with Lucas and the kittens (which fyi are the sweetest balls of fluff)

This is a second chance romance between two men who grew up together and with family meddling have separated. Noah/mouse and Lucas/cat’s story is so heartwarming and sweet. Even after everything they went through and their history together the fierce love they had for one another never wavered. It's great that I can always count on a Rye Cox's book for all the feels. So I know what to read when I need a happy light read that ends with a hea!

"The only thing that mattered was that you were with me. It was only with you that I felt like I didn't have to be strong because I knew you wouldn't judge me and would keep me safe. You are my hideaway. The most important thing in the world." 🥰

I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.

Another great addition to the Corio Heights series, this one is maybe a little less steamy - however - the feels are extra high with these two, and you will love them just as much as the other friends who have come before. Noah and Lucas get torn apart, and I won't spoil with too many details, but our story picks up 2+ years later, when Lucas shows up on Noah's doorstep to win back his man, basically. It is abundantly clear even from their first meeting, that all the feelings are still there, and that no matter how long it takes them, they are going to fight their way back together. You will love getting to know more about the mysterious Noah, if you've read the earlier books. These two are just the most romantic, and their HEA is so well earned.

Another great addition to the Corio Heights series. Lucas and Noah grew up together and dated secretly but Lucas’s family had other plans for him. A miscommunication causes the relationship to end with both sides heartbroken. Two years go by and after battling a pretty serious addiction, Lucas decides it’s time to win Noah back. He’s a little presumptuous, just turning up on Noah’s doorstep with a “Hi” and not giving any real explanation. Once they have a conversation and share how the last two years have been, they can no longer stay away. They’re very sweet and steamy together and I’m happy they were able to overcome the past and get their HEA.
