Wow! This book was a wild ride full of great characters, action, and revelations. Piper and Payne continue to be a great partnership, even though something happens that almost threw a wrench in it. What, you say? You’ll have to read this book to find out as I don’t want to spoil it. The Keller storyline did get wrapped up, but I think there are going to be plenty more where this came from. I just love this series and can’t wait for more. If you love fast-action, fun, light urban fantasy, give this series a try! Do start at the beginning and enjoy the ride! Highly recommend!

An exciting conclusion to this story arc as Reaper and Piper finally go on the offensive to hunt down Keller - off the books. Humorous and twisted, the path they take reveals mysteries previously unanswered while causing a stitch in your side. But what perils must they overcome to face Keller? Scheming? Betrayal? Sacrifice? Or just fiends and fetishists? A hilarious journey concludes.

This was one of the best that I have read of Piper and Payne. They and their team are determined to wipe out Keller for good. His evil and destruction has gone on long enough. Methkins is included into the group but a cloud of suspicion is hanging over his head. Piper and her team...excluding Reaper all are just a little leery of Meth and are keeping a close eye on him. Pecker and Agnes hold down the fort in the Netherworld as the team goes topside into NYC to find their foe. The action gets started immediately and when the reader finds the nothing they had thought was real before is now not on the table. The plot gets all twisted up and you find your jaw dropping open as you near the end of the book as truths that the reader would never have thought of comes out. Of course to find out all these truths you will have to read the book just as I have. Now I can grind my wheels as I wait for the next book to come out because it is going to be a doozey. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.

I can't get enough of this book series
Yet another fantastic story in the Piper and Payne series of books. John P Logsdon has done it again, with all the humour and action that you come to expect from the PPD books and more. With an action packed finale, questions from Pipers past are finally answered, but others leave you chomping at the bit for more. If you haven't read any of John's books yet where have you been, your missing out on a fantastic witty writer of urban fantasy that will keep you coming back for more.

The truth comes out
The game is on as Keller carries on his war whilst Piper and Co try to keep their department together.
Piper is willing to do anything to get Keller she just doesn't know if she will survive. A great ending to this story ARC with a surprising amount of twists and action. Humour is as expected and is typical of the PPD universe, with some lovely emotional moments.

Piper, Payne and their crew have gone topside to kick butt and take names
This was a fast pace read, with plenty of action. This is the last book in the Keller story arc, and it answers a lot of questions, while still leaving plenty of room for the characters to develop and stories in their world's to continue.

Wow!
Piper & Payne are two of my favorite characters, and this book really goes all out with their story. So as not to include spoilers, I will just say that you learn so much about them and their connection. Agnes has a starring role and it doesn't disappoint. As always, tons of laughs and action. Great continuation of the series. Must read!

This is the latest in the Piper and Reaper series. This one answers a great many questions, and poses a new one, will Pecker get to complete his dream of...
Everyone is back, and the hunt for Keller is on, and Anges is truly at her best in all ways.
All in all a great read, the characters seem to get better and better with each book.

Brilliant
As always a great read. Agnes and pecker are hilarious. I can't wait for the next instalment. Once I start reading i can't put it down. You get so invested in the story and characters you can't wait for the next book. I doesn't matter what genre you read you've gotta read any of John's books and I guarantee you will be hooked on all his books!!

The final showdown between Piper and Reaper and the evil Keller. The only chance to save the world but they know that victory will bring a heavy price. Thrills and fast paced action, humour and pathos. Another great read in the series.

Fast paced, jumping right into the action without Pecker'ing around. Paranoia abounds in Piper's head about one of her crew. And the end was very satisfying.

Transfixed by Piper :)
I'm really enjoying this series, it's addicting and fun interspersed with moments of sadness. A great combo of emotions make it an interesting read.

Fun
I like these books but I strongly dislike the inconsistencies. Over the last three books, initially Reaper, Pecker, and Meth could hear Agnes talk (without connectors). Last book Meth found Agnes but didn’t try to converse with her, nor she with him, basically stating that he could not hear her. Because, let’s face it, she’s mouthy and would have talked.
Second inconsistency that is bothering me: initially Reaper wants Piper to bring them in alive bc he needs to pay rent. As the books continue, he seems to be independently wealthy.
Third, the rate for bringing them in alive is 100%, but at first it was stated that they only got 25% commissions if the perps were dead. Now, despite no mention of raises etc, the commission is 50% for dead perps.

Our favourite retriever is fighting hard and with the typical Logsdon humour we have many a smirk, laugh and more than an occasional thought we keep in our heads. The action matches well with the story and Lorelei does well with the narration although John does it better so i would of liked a dual narration on this but is still worth listening to.

Great story!!
I loved this series! I stumbled on the PPD by accident and am glad I did. The character development is top notch. I didnt start at the beginning of the series and the beauty of it is that you dont have to. Just start somewhere. I promise you wont be disappointed.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. Such a good ending to this series. It wraps everything up very neatly and answers a lot of questions. Just one thing though, AGNES OR PIPER?!?!

Keller got the upper hand now and he is getting stronger, the Netherworld PPD is no more and the crew desperately needs help from the NYPPD in hopes it will be enough. The conclusion of this story moves fast and is just as entertaining as ever.
