Bro Split (More Than Friends Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,074 ratings

Getting caught in the middle of two hyper-competitive, muscle-bound gym bros isn't supposed to be this fun, is it?

I'm a list person. Lists make sense, they give a chaotic, unpredictable world order. Realizing I was gay at thirty definitely wasn't on my list.

I guess I need a new list…

New apartment: check

New gym bod: let's call that work in progress…

Dive into the gay dating pool: DOUBLE check

I didn't plan to move in smack dab between two rival beef-cakes, but I'm not complaining.

I can't tell if wooing me is just another challenge they're trying to win or if fighting over me is their way of dancing around the obvious tension between them. But, the more I get to know them both, the more I'm hoping this whole thing might be real.

I don't think I have the list for this…

***Bro Split is a LOW angst, rivals to lovers, jocks and a nerd, MMM story that you won't want to put down!!

K.M. Neuhold is a complete romance junkie. bisexual and polyamorous, she often describes herself as being in love with love. She loves to write stories full of bearded, cinnamon roll men who get super swoony HEAs. Her philosophy is there’s so much angst and sadness for LGBT characters in media, all she wants is to give them the happiest happily ever afters she can with little angst, tons of humor, and SO MUCH STEAM. K.M. fully admits to her tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory that will likely always lead to every book turning into a series or spin-off. When she's not writing she's a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero...just kidding, she's likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her huskies while her amazing husband brings her coffee.

This story is written beautifully and with understanding. For many of us this concept of polyamory is foreign. This book portrays how love is not defined by so called social norms. I loved it!

Summary: This is an MMM steamy romance about Ezra who has only recently come out and is embarking on a new life. He runs into Xeno, a baker he made a brief but significant connection with a year ago, at his new apartment. About the same time, Ezra hires Andre, a gym owner, as a personal trainer. Meanwhile, Xeno and Andre have had a friendly competition at the gym for a few years—now they are competing for Ezra.

“Apparently, my brain and my libido made some kind of pact that when hot men are speaking to me, my dick gets to operate my mouth. Fantastic.”

“He doesn’t care about the score because this isn’t a game anymore.”

‘Xeno’s eyelids droop and he makes a happy rumbling sound deep in his throat. “All I heard in that entire statement was the three of us together ten years from now.”’

Review: This is a well balanced MMM romance both in the storytelling and in the relationships. Ezra is struggling to build confidence but has a great sense of humor, Xeno is just as sweet and lovely as the pastries he bakes, and Andre is passionate and supportive. Each character has his own issue he’s dealing with whether it’s trusting others, trusting oneself, or being true to themselves, but it’s easy to see how they all fit together. I like how the each have a relationship with each of the others as well as a relationship that is the three of them together. And I like that they all are both honest about and respectful of the individual relationships. Honestly, I don’t know how a triad relationship could work otherwise, so it’s nice to see it modeled well here. I also like how the triad relationship develops, with each man on his own getting to where that’s what he wants even if they didn’t all have the vocabulary for it at first. It’s really a very sweet, low angst story.

Great MMM story! These three find their people in the sweetest way. Xeno and Dre have their competition and sexual tension but it’s Ezra, a newly out man who’s determined to start his life over, the way it was supposed to have been all along. Andre gets over his relationship hang ups, Ezra becomes more confident and Xeno is exactly who they need to pull them together. Steamy and sweet read.

The author captured the whimsical and romance just right. The hint of what is needed to keep the reader attention and develop the most definitive relationships. This one's a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow with insightful edges.

This is one of the best books I have EVER read. Period. The story, the steam, just everything is breathtaking. It’s a beautiful story of taking chances and falling in love. The fact that it’s between 3 men is secondary. I didn’t read the first book before this one as it didn’t really interest me even though I love most of what Neuhold writes. This book is completely readable without reading that one. And completely worth it.

This story is so engaging, entertaining and fun. Perfectly steamy with 3 MCs. Unexpected and wonderful. KM Neuhold is an amazing author but is magic with Poly relationships, focusing on the love and how much the heart can hold for the men in these relationships. This story was a fantastic read and I greatly enjoyed it. Ezra, Andre and Xeno are amazing and just click perfectly, and it’s unplanned. Amazing read. Can’t wait to hop into the audio!

Xeno, Ezra, and Andre

I love all the books I've read from K.M. Neuhold so far, and I think I'm getting super close to have read them all. I love how fast-paced things move along with her characters. Definitely recommend reading them all.

5.0 out of 5 stars just… everything about this
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 9, 2024
This story has left me with all of the feels.
The nerves Ezra felt to start, the compassion as he moves on to his new to-do list, all of the heat as the three of them fit together, the pride & love at the end…. When every time I go on X there’s more negativity about the queer community in one way or another, this is everything.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice but not that exciting
Reviewed in the Netherlands on August 15, 2023
The timeline in the beginning of the story is a bit vague/creative/all over the place. Which made things confusing. Also the interesting relationship struggles are brushed over with a "yes we struggle but that's ok" type of thing. Love the characters just not the flow of the story. A bit boring.

Kyleen you nailed it! Well written, MC who we want to cuddle or admire… this one is number one in my heart for your threesome stories and Flash me have been my number one for so long!
I really recommend this story if you love big gym men and neirdy ones, no angst, lot of humor and smoking hot sex scenes!

3.0 out of 5 stars Hmmm

This was a surprisingly boring book where it felt like nothing happened. It felt like being on a rollercoaster that’s staying perfectly still.

Still serviceable but the lamp-shading somehow made me more annoyed.
