Jamie being emotionally crippled due to his wealth found it hard to trust women. Shannon hating the fact that rich men was jerks and had her heart set on a career. This a really good read even with a few violent areas but a struggle to put down.

I enjoyed this installment of the series much more than the second. The story was more cohesive and detailed.
Though this brother, Jamie, is just as much of a womanizer. I mean how many times can one get a blowjob and follow it up with- I was thinking of you though?! And nothing, she is just 'I know'. Not a chance. I get that she is traumatized due to circumstances but still.
The climax of this tale is also a bit anticlimactic. The anticipation and buildup to the major 'event' were better than the actual drama itself.
There is a HEA but there are quite a few possible triggers along the way so be warned.

4 stars for His Addiction by Autumn Archer. This is book 3 in the Unforgettable series. I feel in love with Autumn Archer’s writing in His to Steal and continue to love her writing in this book. We meet Jaime in His to Steal , he is Marcus’s brother. Jamie is the typical billionaire playboy. Shannon is just a poor girl who just wants her own horse. While, these characters seem so different I believed from the very beginning that they were meant for each other. These two meet when Shannon finds Jamie’s father wondering around. They have a spark and attraction that just sizzles. The chemistry comes off pages. I do love Jaime’s character but there were some times in the book when I thought he deserved a good throat punch. Jamie likes women and is an alpha in male and is pretty much attracted to all women , every thing seems to change when he meets Shannon. I will say there is so much emotion, passion, love and drama in this story that I felt I was on an emotional roller coaster. The sex scenes between these to are so steamy and hot. I loved every second of this book. I was drawn into this story from the first page. Actually I was drawn in by the hottie on the cover if I’m being honest. I would consider this a contemporary romantic suspense. I love Jaime and Shannon. These two are great characters and I am looking forward to reading more from Autumn Archer.
