The connection is pretty quick. Something happens Julian rescuing Kayden. I do not want to spoil it.

I really enjoyed this book. There was some possible triggers for someone who finds scenes of violence distressing but as it was a necessary part of the story I didn't have a problem with it.
The two main characters were very likeable and although there were hiccups along the way, they found their happy ever after. The ending made me feel so happy for them.
