Where to start out with my review...Susan Stoker captivated us with Rescuing Rayne, her DFH Book 1. We all loved the love story between Ghost and his high flyer. Like many of you, I'm sure, I was sad to see the end of the DFH last month with another SS book. But then we were hit with a surprise. Riley Edwards had written a book about Ghost & Rayne. She was sending them on their honeymoon. Now although I was excited to read about characters that I loved, I'll admit I was a little trepidatious in the fact that this wouldn't be written by SS. Fast forward 2 weeks and I am ENGROSSED in Romancing Rayne. Usually, I will give a bit of background on the story but this time I'm just gonna say WOW!! Riley Edwards did such a FANTASTIC JOB in keeping the original characters true but also giving us MORE. The jaunt across the pond is filled with adventure, a bit of suspense, TONS of steaminess and quite a few surprises. The book was fun and easy to read. The plot contained enough twists and turns that Ms. Edwards took characters from SS and made them their own. You will have to admit that this is rare and admirable. Should you pick up this book? YES!! Even if you've not read the DFH series by SS. That's okay (well it's not but I'll let that go). Riley Edwards takes you on a world wind ride! Well done Ms. Edwards!! WELL DONE!!

For me, this was a huge disappointment. Rescuing Rayne was my all-time favorite Susan Stoker Book and I have read it numerous times. I was so excited to read this but it has discolored my memories of Rescuing Rayne.

It was DNF for me.

Very poor book.

This story was poorly written in a fairytale manner. It is frivolous and dumb. A real injustice to Susan Stokers work.

This book caused me to lose so much respect for Rayne. She was such a strong, independent woman in Susan Stoker's book and was reduced to a helpless damsel in distress who couldn't make a single good decision to save her own life. Very sad to see how dependent upon Ghost she had become.

Disappointment...recap of how they met and the addition of Harry and Megan made it all unbelievable in my book...I know this is fiction but it was not a good story to me. This could have gone a different direction that would have made the book more entertaining

Ghost and Ryan’s

What a delightful story about 2 of my favorite characters in Susan Stokers Delta Force series. Riley Edwards portrayals of Ghost and Rayne’s were spot on and I loved it!

I thought this one was fun to read, loved the adventures they had on the honeymoon, loved more how Ghost was planning 25 years in the future for them. But as much as I liked it, I found it totally unbelievable the couple that helped Ghost and Rayne.

Romancing Rayne: Special Forces Operation Alpha Fan-Fiction is by Riley Edwards. This is a specific type of book where the author takes another author’s characters and write a book using them. It is legal because they are using Aces Press to publish their work. Susan Stoker helped Riley in the brainstorming process but had nothing to do with the writing of the book. It is the ultimate form of praise for Susan Stoker to have her characters copied in such a fashion. Riley Edwards did a fantastic job of replicating Ghost and Rayne’s characters and then took them on an adventure around London that was quite exciting. I do think she relied a little too much on the sexual experiences for my taste.
Rayne and Ghost are now married and are on their honeymoon to London where they met. Rayne has told Ghost he is going to be a father but they decided not to tell their friends until they returned. Ghost was determined to recreate the night they met and go from there. Their stay at the Plaza was just the first of many places they went that they had gone to before. Ghost added several other places to their itinerary which he knew would please Rayne. He took her to Parliament where he had arranged a private tour and a tour of Big Ben. A visit there with Spike Wells and his wife, Meghan, just added to the adventure. Their visit to the Tower led to Rayne’s going missing. Ghost is beside himself at losing her. He calls in all the best help to find her.

What a story, it was so neat to see Ghost and Rayne again, not only that but to see their honeymoon, and to go back to London where their story began, to see them recreate their first meeting and how it all came to be.
And the extras oh lord Riley Edwards sure has more imagination then I do, the characters written into the story were awesome, begining with Oliver, and seeing Rayne as happy as she was to see Big Ben heck I do not blame her I would be too, and then Spike and his wife, that was a kicker and had me giggling through the entire book, nicely done.
Even when Rayne and Ghost get separated and poor Rayne is lost in London, well how she got that lost you will have to read the book, but note that yes and old Seal comes to the rescue and a few others too that have me laughing to no end.
Great story, light hearted and fun.

Wow! Amazing!
I have not read many fan fiction books. The few I have read in the past just didn't do it for me because I could tell they just were not the original author and it just bothered me. Now this book.... just WOW! I grabbed it because I needed a book to read and I was out and I have read Riley Edwards stories before and enjoyed them. I love the characters Ghost and Rayne so why not?! Well best decision ever! It is just perfect! Riley Edwards did an incredible job with the details coming from the original and adding in the famous names just pushed it over to amazing! Thank you for writing this! When I re read this series again I will definately include this book. I really hope you take the time to write some more using these characters. You really did a wonderful job in continuing Susan Stoker's characters and bringing the whole series into this book. :)

Wow a fantastic read.

Wow what can I say. If you love Susan Stoker's alpha world and fan fiction and you love Ghost and Rayne, then you are going to want to read this. This book is all about their honeymoon after they got married at the end of rescuing Mary's book. We see the love that Ghost has for Rayne, she has a big suprise for him and like most books she disappears. It's up to Ghost, Tex and close buddy prince Harry of all people to help find the love of his life. Can Ghost find the love of his life? You have to read the book to know more. A fantastic read from start to finish. I have been waiting patiently for this release. Definitely more than the 5* I have given.

I have a love/dislike relationship with this book.
I give it a 3.75 stars. I like how Riley Edwards wrote this book. She captured the characters personalities as close as she could. I don’t think anyone could have wrote Rayne & Ghost’s true personalities unless it was Susan Stoker (who created them). I enjoyed having this little fairytale/ happy ever after ending to Rayne & Ghost’s story, but it wasn’t heart-stopping and exhilarating. It was cute and fluffy.
I would suggest this book if you loved Ghost and Rayne’s story in Rescuing Rayne AND wanted a sweet, guaranteed Happily Ever After that is full of wonderful nostalgia.

Finally we have a conclusion to Ghost and Rayne's fairy tale story complete with two surprise characters will give this book everything it needs to make it a special one.

Rayne and Keene (Ghost) finally are married and are heading to London where they first met but first Ghost has a surprise for Rayne for their honeymoon. There will be tours of towers and castles, a lost child that Ghost will help reunite with his parents but it also will lead to a equally lost Rayne. But I won't spoil the book so you'll just have to read it for yourself. Excellent work by Riley Edwards that I give a rating of all 5 stars.

A LONDON ADVENTURE

A story of romance; marriage and a honeymoon in London. These are the adventures of the newly married couple; their sightseeing trips and her introduction to some of the Royal Family members. Lastly Rayne gets lost without her phone; gets dumped a cab driver and losing her purse and identification. Her husband being part of a Special Forces unit gets some of his friends to help find her.

Susan Stoker is one of my favourite authors, so when I saw that there would be another book of more Rayne and Ghost I was like heck ya! I haven’t read anything by Riley Edwards and didn’t even care that it wasn’t Susan writing it. And I just gotta say I was pleasantly surprised with this author and similarities in writing style and keeping true to the characters. Kudos to Miss Edwards in joining in on this awesome series. I am now intrigued to start reading some of your series books!

A Very Enjoyable Read

This was a fun read. It was just what I needed to get over a massive book hangover. It was a fun romp through London for Rayne and Ghost on their honeymoon. Ghost treated her to sites and people not normally seen by tourists. Of course Rayne has to get into some kind of trouble that sends Ghost on the hunt. I read to escape and that’s what I did with this book.

Romancing Rayne

WOW! This was a different perspective yet familiar story of Ghost and Rayne after their wedding. I loved how Ghost made everything special for Rayne. The drama happened when the two got separated from each other. I love how Prince Harry and Meghan were incorporated into this story. I am happy that these two got to go back to where their relationship started. Ghost gave Rayne her fairytale honeymoon. FANTASTIC job Riley! I would recommend this book.

i was not sure that I would like this book as I loved Susan Stokers book where they met and then the rest of the DFH series... even though I am a fan of Riley Edwards I was not sure how her version of who Ghost and Rayne were would meet with Susans version or how I viewed the characters. I must say not only was I happy with the story line (fairy tale ending in a way) but so glad I read it ... well done Riley

Riley Edwards picks up Susan Stoker's story of Keane “Ghost” Bryson and Rayne Jackson after their wedding and going on their honeymoon.

Ghost decides to make all of Rayne's dreams come true by taking her back to the place where they met and fell in love - London. He takes her on a holiday that she will never forget along with a "royal" surprise. Everything seems perfect until disaster strikes. Ghost will call some longtime friends to help keep Rayne safe.

OMG what a honeymoon

One help of a honeymoon. Being able to see all those things from getting private tours of the palace to being up spending the day with Prince Harry and Meghan because Ghost had served with the Harry overseas at one time. And then Rayne makes a couple had decisions and ends up lost only to be found by Meghan while Ghost is about to head the city apart looking for her. How could it be and better?

Yes!! I just finished reading Rescuing Rayne this morning and was aching for more on Ghost and Rayne…this book totally hit the spot! Sure, it was a bit OTT, especially with the addition of Harry and Meghan, but you know what? I was totally here for it! We saw some more of Ghost’s alpha badassness, some scorching heat and action. It felt like a very extensive and exciting epilogue. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

loved!!!

Always love to get more from our favorites of the Susan stoker world. And rayne and ghost are at the top. Especially after everything they have been through. Loved the return to romance from when they first met. And then meeting Harry and Meghan!! Love how military guys rally around one another. And how Oliver and Harry were there for ghost. Such a cute short and steamy story. Loved it.

Omg absolutely loved it.

I'm a big fan of Rayne and Ghost so this book was a must read and boy did Riley Edwards do them Justice and added her own to it. This book was so good and steamy and I was excited for Meghan and Harry to be apart of the book. Congratulations riley you did it

Loved This Book

I was a bit worried about another author writing about Rayne and Ghost but this book was in keeping with the characters developed by Susan Stoker. While the scenario was semi-fiction, Ghost was still his strong, alpha Delta Force character and Rayne his now devoted but independent wife. My 2 favorite characters. A little suspense and lots of steam!

A Must Read for Fans of Susan Stoker's Delta Force Heroes Series

The story begins at the end of the quadruple wedding in Susan Stoker's Rescuing Mary and follows Rayne and Ghost on their honeymoon to London, the city where they first met. Lots of sizzling romance and a couple of royal surprises (I knew that Prince was a bada$$!).

Fairy Tale

This was a sweet, fantastical fan fiction honeymoon tale for Raine and Ghost. The newlyweds head to London to celebrate their marriage and baby-to-be in the place where it all began. Ghost has planned a truly memorable and most romantic trip for Rayne, with quite a few surprises along the way!

This is a very nice piece of fan-fiction. I had the hardest time believing the reason Rayne left a place of safety, thinking she saw Ghost would have made this part go down easier. But this is a small complaint, and the fun visit with these characters is worth it!

I can't wait until I get to visit again on their 25th anniversary! :)
