This is Arjun and Naya's story. The finale to the Dragon Protectors Series.

**Unedited Excerpt**

“What do you want?”

He wanted to tell her he was there to get her out of there, he was there to help her, he was going to take her to safety and protect her and watch over her, and he opened his mouth to tell her, but of course, no words came out.

Nothing except a hoarse sound.

His features tightened. He’d never felt more helpless in his life. He needed to reassure her, but how?

Her gaze darted to his mouth then slid to his throat.

Her gaze widened. Her throat moved as she swallowed. He knew she had spotted the scars of the collar that had dug into his skin. It marked him out as being a victim. Just like her.

Some of the tension seemed to leave her body.

Still those big amber eyes blinked at him warily. “Maybe you are not one of them, you are certainly not dressed like the Fae soldiers," Her gaze flicked to his vest, then back to his face, "but I don’t know who you are and why you are holding down.” She gnawed on her lower lip.

He wanted to reach down and brush his thumb over that glistening flesh. How would her mouth taste?

As if aware of the direction his thoughts had taken, she bared her teeth and hissed. Feral creature. And she'd called him a beast?

He felt her pull her leg back, as if she intended to kick him, or worse, knee him again.

He gripped his arms around her body, making sure to keep her arms captive, then angled his much heavier weight just so, to hold her legs down.

Her eyes widened, the amber growing darker until her enter irises burned a curious shade of gold.

He felt the tension gather inside her as she opened her mouth to scream again. And no way could he stand hearing that cry of fear again. He needed to reassure her.
Going with instinct, he opened his mouth to tell her she could trust him, but all that emerged was a low purr—a deep, harmonious sound that seemed to be wrenched out of his very heart.

He froze.

The woman under him froze, then she blinked...

Strange Sensations, Purring.....

The youngest of all the ascendants Arjun suffered the most, at age 8 he saw his family taken from him while the Dark Fae Igor took him and turned him into the monster he is....His brothers thought him dead and he thought they forgot him. With nothing to live for all he lives for is revenge against the monster that took his life from him even his voice. Until he feels the soul in the cell next to him, he draws peace from her and unknown to him she does from him. Will Naya be what draws a voice from him after so many years.

Will he finally get his revenge, or will he perish trying.....What is most important living at long last, or perishing because of revenge?

God I love every single one of these stories in the Dragon Protectors series.

The silent one

Arjun and Naya's book sizzles from the beginning to end. They are both held captive by the Dark Fae and cellmates. Throughout their time in captivity, they sensed each other and when Arjun kills Tibor, he knew he couldn't leave without finding her.. Their chemistry sizzles from the time they set eyes on each other. Ankther great read from Laxmi.

You can't escape your past. Nor can you see your future set in stone.
You only have the present. And what you do is your choice.
So let your instincts kick in and lead you forward. The way Arjun and Naya let their own subconscious pull them together in a clashing fight of emotions, personalities, and deep feelings.
Being hostage to the Dark Fae Lord, Arjun and Naya have shared the same space for longer than they realized, living in the adjacent cells and eventually tuning in to each other's presence without giving it a second thought. Now that the possibility to escape emerged, they break out of hell, only to be sucked into a vortex of contradictory feelings pushing them back and forth and engaging the couple in a fiery mating dance.
Danger, deep attraction, and fierce urge to protect weave through the story, with a very unique couple of main characters - Arjun is mute by choice, using only the primal sound of purring to communicate to his chosen one, and Naya is able to understand and get in sync with her male. Together, they could overcome anything, only they have to find the way to each other and accept the inevitable. Intense emotional read, raw and hot, awaking all senses of the reader and bringing up the heat level with each chapter. The characters bare their souls and complexity to us with straightforwardness that calls for connection, and I couldn't stop reading the story until it got its conclusion.

Arjun- an Ascendent, killed Tibor and set Trinity free so she could go rescue Neo. But Igor is still alive and he must die. All Arjun can think of is escaping and saving the girl who is in the cell next to his. Her name is Naya and she is a dragon and has also been tourchered by Tibor and Igor. Once Arjun escaped he saved Naya and took her to the clinic at the council of Bombay to be healed and he took off the collar from around her neck.

After that, they met with the council and her cousin Eve and her mate Cain. They also met Logan and his Ascendent brothers. Arjun also found out that they thought he was dead. Arjun also found out that the Ascendent immortals were meant to partner with the shifters and help them fight back against the dark Fae. They also knew that Arjun and Naya were intended mates by the way they were acting before they even knew it themselves. They were in the throes of the mating dance.

Igor found the place where Arjun took Naya to be alone and he fought Arjun and recaptured Naya and took her back to Moscow to be his bride. With a new collar around her neck and under sedation Naya agreed to wed Igor so she could save Arjun and possibly kill Igor in the process of mating him. But Arjun, Vance, and the council had other plans for Igor and saving Naya. What an exciting and terrific book. Read on to find out what happens. I give it FIVE HUGE STARS!

Wow

Really loved the story. Poor Arjun to have suffered for so many years. Then to have found his salvation in the strength of his cell mate Naya. Loved his growth and change in the story. She brought out the light in him that was drowning in darkness because of the fae lord. Naya was captured and tortured as well. And she drew on his strength and possession. They did their mating dance of push and pull but essentially they built each other up. They would always come for one another and have each other’s back. Very steamy scenes when they get together. A little BDSM in how dominant Arjun is toward Naya. Needing her submission. But she needs to be possessed by him to feel safe after all she and he had been through. It was a trust like no other. Loved the story. Still hoping we get a Caleb and Indira story or a least a tidbit of insight to their happing ending. And now I am hoping for a Logan and Amara story too. Maybe like an extra epilogue. All the other ascendants have a mate now that Arjun is with Naya. Kris and Tara, Mikhail and Leanna, Aaron and hope, just need Logan. And def need Calebs story.

Wow Arjun finally gets his story, the Immortal who has been used and abused by Tibor and Igor finally finds the reason to fight back, Naya. Without even meeting the two help each other, in captivity, kept apart, but Naya senses him, and Arjun senses her, so much so when the opportunity comes he rushes to save her so they can escape together, but will Igor let them get away that easily???
This was a great read, storyline, plot and the characters are good. I enjoyed the angst of this read, but the fight scene was awesome. Arjun’s character is flawed but amazing, so much pain and it’s written to get to your heart. Naya’s character is bold and brave. This read has some serious sexy scenes, which flames the story even more. Would recommend.

Amazing storyline in Revelation. There are some very well developed characters here and some new ones that we get to see grow in the story.

Naya is a strong young woman who seems to have found a way to hide her true self most of her life. It makes for a lonely life. Will she survive the Dark Fae Lord to fulfill her destiny? Will she allow herself to be seen so she will no longer be lonely?

Arjen has a strong constitution. He has hidden a part of himself away so deep no one could find it. Why had he done this? Will he ever trust anyone enough to let them in? Will he be strong enough to break his bonds and renter the light?

Read Revelation and get all the answers to these questions and more. Possibly the best book of the series.

Be Ready for lots of tension and hard getting to know each other
There will be suspense, palpable attracion, broding male, feisty female and fighting for each other with all your self - what not to Love?

Naya and Arjun were two broken souls who had been tormented and spent their lives in captivity. Fated to find their strength in each other and to be together. The detailed narrations and descriptions with the strong emotions in the story created an atmosphere that made me feel with the protagonists, specially, with Arjun’s insight. Liked his inner struggling and the intensity of his feelings. Good paced story with suspense, intriguing situations, a dark enemy, violence, romance and passion. And the intriguing and elusive vampire, Vance, kept me guessing. How good that his story is next!

He's one of the Ascendents although he was kidnapped at age 8 and tortured by the dark Fae lord, he's just biding his time until he can escape and fulfill his revenge to kill the evil man. She's a dragon shifter that has been kidnapped by the Fae lord, being tortured and fighting against being broken. He doesn't understand why he's drawn to her and must save her with his own life if necessary. They both fight the mating bond, band together to try to kill the Fae lord. Will they give in to the bond? Will they defeat the dark Fae lord? What other surprises await these two?

Another great book in the Dragon Protector series!
Arjun & Naya's story.
Both have been imprisoned by Igor& found comfort in each other's present without realising it.
Arjun rescues Naya, a dragon shifter and takes her to Bombay & himself discovers something he always knew, but has forgotten...
Brilliant storytelling, great, strong characters, stony scenes.
This book has it all, Arjun might be silent, but that is by no means a weakness!!
And Naya is just as strong and fated to each other, both are very stubborn, can they overcome all the hurdles?
Read on!!!!

This book is one of those hidden gems in my opinion. I was expecting a book where they see each other and hit it off right away. With a great deal of hot steamy sexy times. That the hero was into having control. Well, he is but not the way I thought. What I got was something more. They have great chemistry and attraction. I would recommend this book!!!!

Arjun and Naya have an intense connection. She makes him want to be different. When they are together, nothing else matters.

I like that Naya does not give up on him even when he tries to push her away. She has a strength of character Arjun has been in so much pain for so long and isn't sure he can trust in a different future.

While it is part of a series, I think you could enjoy it as a standalone.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I loved the story of Arjun and Naya. Being held captive by Igor, a Fae Lord, came with some awful treatment but they felt each other and that helped them. When Arjun gets free he goes after the one person he felt behind the wall and save her as well. They go back to Bombay to find family there but they struggle and fight the bond but when they are taken by Igor again they come together to fight and win for each other. I cannot wait to read the next book, this series is well worth the read.

Another hat and intense action packed romance. The story of Arjun and Naya. Take one dragon shifter and one Immortal that both have some major issues from being held captive. Put them together and sparks fly. I loved how these two characters grew, especially Arjun. How they felt pulled together even before meeting was beyond love and romance. The story has a lot of action and some intense back stories. But it seems that finding your mate can change and save anyone.

Arjun and Naya. Two characters who have suffered and need each other but each is afraid to hurt the other. Whew the chemistry. Practically sets the pages on fire. These two are amazing together and even though they are “broken”, together they can thrive. While this is a stand-alone, I truly think you’ll enjoy this story more if you read them all in sequence. Great characters and an easy fast paced read. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Finally some peace ... or is it?

These two have both been captured and tortured by the dark face, but when he gets a chance to leave, he grabs her and runs. The fact they’re both having issues with their relationship causes more turmoil and they both make bad decisions that could cost them their lives, but they finally find what they need to defeat their demon and save the races they’re trying to save.

An emotionally, intense read of 2 people who had been kidnapped, held hostage and tortured that could feel the other next door. He escapes and comes back for her unaware that this had been allowed. Working their way to falling in love and GUESS who shows up...read this book to follow Arjun and Kaya and their love story.

I received an ARC of this book, another in the Ascendants series. It's another roller coaster ride featuring an evil villain, Igor, and unbridled passion between Arjun and Naya. It's easy to get lost in the drama surrounding these characters and get swept away by the virtually non-stop action. This isn't my favorite in this series, but it's one of the better ones. I definitely recommend it.

One More Super Book

Laxmi never fails to deliver. I enjoyed this #7 book in her series. She brings all her characters to life in each book she writes in a series and then ties them all together throughout the series to make them vibrant. I almost hate to read the last book because it will end this series. Please write more.

Arjun and Naya are great together. Both are fighting battles inside themselves as to who they truly are. Both are afraid they will hurt the other person. When they both are able to break the blocks that have been placed on them, they see what they can do.

The intensity of the characters Arjun and Naya was a roller coaster ride of emotions. Both were taken by Igor and subjected to horrors to break them but they survived and escaped.
Their journey will be a do or die.
