About this ebook

Meet the Kings. They’ll warm your heart… then get it racing.

Fall in love with the wild, passionate, scandalous men, and the strong, confident women of this big family as they find lasting love in the quaint small town of Crown Creek. Each book is connected or can be read as a standalone.

I grew up a sheltered, good girl. I knew the outside world was wrong. Living on the compound, I was hidden away from the rest of the town. And away from the temptations of books, music and men.

Especially men like Beau King.

He’s famous. A rockstar. One of the wild, scandalous King Brothers that put our small town on the map. Hidden behind the walls of the compound, I heard whispers of what he was…

Everything I’d been warned about.

Hazel eyes. Tempting voice. And a body made for sin.

I was supposed to stay away.

So I ran. But he chased me. I fell. And he caught me.

And then we kissed...

Heaven help me.

I want his mouth on mine, and his hands in forbidden places.

I want to confess the wild ache in my heart to him.

But even after I leave the cult behind, I still can’t escape. I’ve cast off its chains, but I am not free. I want a forever with Beau, but my family is in danger. I know my place. I know if I don’t return, I’ll never be forgiven.

But if falling from grace means I’ll land in Beau’s arms, then it might just be worth it.

CROWN CREEK is one big series about one special small town, following the lives and loves of interconnected families and friends. The same characters show up in multiple books and each book can be read as a standalone. Or they can be read in the following order for one long series.

THE KINGS:

Sweet Crazy Song - Jonah’s story (FREE)

Lost Perfect Kiss - Gabe’s story

Soft Wild Ache - Beau’s story

His Secret Heart - Finn’s story

CROWN CREEK STANDALONES:

Last Good Man - Willa and Cooper’s story

I thought this was a good read. The writing flowed well, and I thought the characters were developed nicely. Beau and Rachel were linked together in the last book, and I was afraid that I wasn't going to like her. The character improved in this book though. Beau and Rachel were good together, and they had great chemistry. My only complaint was that both her and Beau needed to realize that you can't live your life for anyone but yourself. Beau really needed to learn the phrase "I'm not my brother's keeper". I know you worry about family, but you can't make someone be happy. That's something they have to do themselves. It was a perfect ending for these characters, and I liked the HEA. I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book.

About the author

Theresa Leigh is a romance author whose love of reading is so intense, she sometimes injures herself by walking around with her nose in a book. She loves writing stories that have you feeling every emotion... sometimes all on the same page.

After five years of writing romance under a penname, Theresa finally decided to own up to how she was spending her all time. Her mother now knows all about the kinds of books she writes. She reacted more positively to it than Theresa expected.

Theresa lives and writes in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State (not the city) (that distinction is important to her), where she lives with her husband, twin sons and twin orange cats, Pumpkin and Jackie O’Lantern. When she's not writing or reading, she enjoys eating too much Thai food, walking around barefoot, and cooing baby talk at her cats.
